James Struthers has been promoted to President of KSL Resorts in La Quinta. For the past 14 years, he had served the group as Chief Financial Officer.

Michael Dominguez has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Associated Luxury Hotels International. He was most recently the Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for MGM Resorts International.

David Meisner has been named General Manager of the Austin Marriott Downtown, slated to open in 2020. Meisner was most recently the General Manager of Aloft and Element hotels in downtown Austin.

Karan Kakar has been named General Manager of the Nautilus by Arlo in South Beach. He is the former General Manager of the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection, and the Mondrian South Beach.

The Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs has named Peggy Trott General Manager. Trott was most recently serving as General Manager of the Palm Springs Colony Palms Hotel.

David Hoffman has been named opening General Manager of the Pendry West Hollywood. He is the former General Manager of the Pendry Baltimore.

Michel Gabbud has been promoted General Manager at The Charmant Hotel. He was recently promoted to the position following a two-year stint as Director of Food and Beverage.

Jim Swaim has been appointed General Manager at The Island Okaloosa in Florida. He was previously Director of Operations of the Marriott St. Petersburg Clearwater.

Kelly Snyder has been appointed General Manager of The Emery in Minneapolis. She was most recently the General Manager of the LaQuinta by Wyndham Bloomington.

Jim McSwigan has been appointed General Manager of the Notary Hotel, Autograph Collection in Philadelphia. He was previously serving as General Manager of the Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown and the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center.

Patricia Janssens has joined the Royal Palm South Beach as General Manager. Janssen is the former General Manager of the Sole Miami and the Wyndham Resort Avon.

Kevin Croke has been appointed General Manager of the Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa in Palm Beach. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing and, most recently, General Manager of the Mayfair at Coconut Grove.

Matthew Moore has joined the Winnetu Oceanside Resort as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager 
of the
 AC Hotel Boston Downtown.

Camila Frederico has been promoted to Hotel Manager with her move to the Westin St. Francis. She was most recently serving as Director of Operations of the W San Francisco.

Nicolas Dubort has joined the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead as Hotel Manager. He was most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverage of the Mandarin Oriental New York.

Virgin Hotels has named Harris White Chief Financial Officer, based in Miami. He was most recently Chief Financial Officer and Head of Asset Management at Sage Hospitality.

Sean McLaughlin has been named Chief Financial Officer of Timbers Resorts. He was most recently with SunGate Capital as Chief Investment Officer.

Anthony Evangelista has been promoted to Corporate Director, Food and Beverage
 at Loews Hotels. He was most recently the Director of Operations
 of the Loews Hotel San Francisco. Evangelista is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Omni San Francisco and the James Royal Palm in Miami Beach.

Eric Snay has been named Director of Food and Beverage of The Island. He was most recently in the same position at The Country Club of Little Rock.

Daniel Daughtry has been named Vice President of Restaurants, Bars & Events of the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. He is the former Senior Director of Food and Beverage of the Edgewood Tahoe Resort and Director of Food and Beverage of the Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder Resort.

Erika Hirt is now in Santa Barbara as Director of Human Resources of the Rosewood Miramar Beach. She is the former Executive Vice President Human Resources for Aparium Hotels in Chicago.

Theresa Dileo has joined the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club as Vice President Human Resources. She was most recently the Director of Human Resources of the Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah.

The London West Hollywood has appointed Greg Velasquez Director of Sales and Marketing. He is the former Chief Marketing Officer of the Hotel Figueroa and Director of Sales and Marketing of the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Lillian Aviles has joined Villa Palmasola in Punta Mita as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Director of Business Development at Journey Mexico and Director of Travel Industry Sales for both the St. Regis Punta Mita and the St. Regis Mexico City.

Laura Willens has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing at the Malibu Beach Inn. She has spent the past three years as the property’s Reservations-Sales Manager.

Justin Budyak has been appointed Complex Director of Sales and Marketing at the Brown Palace Hotel & Spa and the adjacent Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown. He was most recently Area Director of Sales and Marketing for both the Renaissance Denver Hotel and the Holiday Inn Denver East.

Dominik Trimborn has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park. He was most recently overseeing sales and marketing for both the St. Regis Bal Harbour and the W Miami.

Jon Hodges has been appointed Executive Director of Sales and Partnerships at Sixty Hotels. Hodges was most recently the Executive Director of Transient Sales, Leisure and Partnership Accounts at Denihan Hospitality.

Les Pedersen has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. Most recently, Pedersen worked for Four Seasons for six years as a Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler and the Four Seasons O’ahu at Ko Olina.

Donna Esparza has joined the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Director of Sales of the Marriott Riverside and the Hyatt Place – Riverside Downtown.

The Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa has named Dave Nostrand Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director, Full-Service Brand Development for Hilton Worldwide.

Trevor Bondarchuk has been appointed Director of Sales of the Union Station Hotel Nashville. H was most recently the Director of Group Sales and Events for Sage Hospitality’s The Nines in Portland, Oregon.

Ventana Big Sur has appointed Keith Potter Executive Chef. Potter most recently served as Chef de Cuisine at Cindy’s Restaurant at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel.

The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa has named Frank Majowicz as Executive Chef. The CIA graduate has been with Hyatt for nearly 40 years, most recently as Executive Chef of the Hyatt Regency Houston.

The Marriott Irvine Spectrum has appointed Leonel De Leon Executive Chef. He was most recently serving as Executive Sous Chef of the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa.

Troy Thompson has joined the Kimpton The Rowan Palm Springs as Executive Chef. Most recently, he was Executive Chef at the Majestic Hotel in Yosemite.

Simon Moulden has been appointed Executive Chef of the Beverly Hilton. He was most recently with MGM Resorts in Las Vegas as Executive Sous Chef for dining outlets spanning three hotels – Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, the Delano, and the Four Seasons Las Vegas.

Trevor Scott has been appointed Executive Chef of The Island. He was previously Area Banquet Chef at the Hammock Beach Resort, Golf & Members Club, Palm Coast, Florida.

Ivo Sandrea has been appointed Executive Chef of The Ballantyne in Charlotte. Sandrea is the former Executive Chef at Marriott International’s Stone Mountain in Georgia and at the Westin Bellevue.

Amy Culverwell has been appointed Executive Chef of the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. She was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City.

Shaun Acosta has joined the Four Seasons Napa Valley as Resort Chef. He is the former Executive Chef for Four Seasons in New York and Executive Sous Chef of the Four Seasons Hualalai.

EUROPE

Julien Gardin has been named Hotel Manager of La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa. He was most recently the Director of Operations of La Grande Maison in Bordeaux. Gardin is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage of the Mandarin Oriental New York and Restaurant Manager of Pierre in the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.

Martin Åkesson has transferred as General Manager to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Malmö. He was most recently Acting General Manager of the Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel, Trondheim.

Stéphane Dartois has joined the Le Méridien Nice as General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Resort and Polo Club.

Arne Heuwekemeijer has been appointed General Manager of the NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. He was most recently the General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai.

Simon Le Cossec has been named Managing Director of the Ultima Gstaad. He is the former General Manager of La Cordée des Alpes in Verbier and Assistant General Manager of Le Strato in Courchevel.

Franco Girasoli has been named General Manager of Masseria Torre Maizza, Savelletri di Fasano in Puglia. He was most recently the General Manager of the Belmond Hotel Caruso Amalfi Coast.

Marie Paule Nowlis has joined the Sofitel St. James in London as General Manager. She was most recently the Acting General Manager of the Sofitel New York.

Laure Rüegger has joined the Ultima Collection in Geneva as Director of Operations. She is the former Hotel Manager of the Bankside Hotel in London.

The Dorchester in London has appointed Stefan Trepp Executive Chef, replacing Henry Brosi, who retired in January after 20 years in the position. Trepp was most recently the Executive Chef of the Siam Kempinski Bangkok.

Richard Galli has been appointed Executive Chef of the Goring Hotel in London, taking over from Shay Cooper, who left the hotel earlier this year after five years in the role. Galli was promoted from the Head Chef position.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Lubosh Barta has been named General Manager of the Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, slated to open in late 2019. He has been with the company for the past 15 years, most recently overseeing the Four Seasons Seoul. Barta is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Four Seasons Chiang Mai and General Manager of the Four Seasons Koh Samui.

Adriano Vences has been appointed General Manager of The Murray Hong Kong. He was most recently overseeing the Niccolo Chengdu.

Christina Cheng has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Alexandra Hong Kong scheduled to open in early 2020. She was most recently the General Manager of the Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees.

Tolga Unan has been appointed General Manager of the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. He was most recently Managing Director of Naked Retreats in Shanghai.

Martin van der Reijden has been named General Manager of SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton and Vice President of Operations of CROSSROADS Maldives. For the past five years, he has served as Director and General Manager of the LUX* North Male Atoll.

Vincent Billiard has been named General Manager of the St. Regis Singapore. He was most recently the General Manager of the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai City. Billiard is the former General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin and Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo.

Jessica Candy has joined the Four Seasons Resorts Lanai as Spa Director. She was in a similar role at the Resort at Squaw Creek.
