John Speers has joined Salamander Hospitality in Middleburg as Vice President Operations. He is the former General Manager of Chatham Bars Inn, the Faena Miami Beach, and the Little Nell Hotel & Residences.
Rudy Tauscher takes over from Mehdi Eftekari as General Manager of the Four Seasons New York. Tauscher was most recently overseeing the Sofitel New York.
Ian-Robert Ciappara has been named General Manager of the Four Seasons Mexico City. He was most recently the General Manager of the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort.
Leon Young has returned to New Orleans to join the Ace Hotel as Managing Director. He had previously overseen the W New Orleans French Quarter before moving into the role of General Manager at the W Scottsdale and, most recently, the W Hollywood.
Jeremy Wilhide has moved to the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Phoenix as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager at the Kimpton Monaco Chicago. Wilhide is the former General Manager at the Hotel La Jolla, the Cypress, and the Hotel Goleta.
Philipp Posch has joined Equinox Hotels as General Manager of their first hotel in New York scheduled to open in 2019 at Hudson Yards. The Lausanne graduate is the former General Manager at the Trump International Vancouver and Hotel Manager at the Trump International Hotel & Tower, Chicago.
Vincent Vienne has moved to the Knickerbocker New York as Managing Director. He was most recently the Managing Director of The Quin. He is also the former General Manager of the Sofitel Philadelphia.
Ben Olin has joined the Stoneleigh in Dallas as General Manager. He was most recently the Regional Director of Operations and Corporate Director of Guest Experience at HEI Hotels and Resorts.
Ralph Mahana has been promoted to General Manager of the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans, replacing David Teich, who after serving as GM for 10 years, is returning to South Carolina to be closer to family. For the past two years, Mahana has worked as the Assistant General Manager.
Ashley Gochnauer has been named General Manager at the Hotel Zelos San Francisco. She was most recently at the Kimpton Everly Hotel Hollywood as opening General Manager. Gochnauer takes over from Sietse Nabben, who has moved to New York and joined Highgate Hotels.
Martin Kipping has been named General Manager of the Viceroy Los Cabos, formally known as Mar Adentro. He was most recently the General Manager of the Viceroy Zihuatanejo.
Rene Roman has moved to the James New York SoHo as General Manager. Roman was most recently the Hotel Manager at the W New York.
Colleen Huther has moved down the coast to become the General Manager of the Hilton Checkers in Downtown Los Angeles. She was most recently in the same position for the Hilton Santa Clara.
Meredith Macfarlane has been named General Manager of the Four Seasons Vail. She was most recently the General Manager at the Four Seasons Santa Fe. Macfarlane had previously served as Director of Rooms and Hotel Manager at the former Four Seasons Toronto and Hotel Manager at the Beverly Wilshire.
Ken Pilgrim has been appointed Managing Director at the Westin Bonaventure. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hyatt Regency LAX.
Raphael Pazzini has been named opening Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons São Paulo at Nações Unidas. He was most recently serving as Resident Manager for the Four Seasons Vail after joined the resort in 2012 as Director of Rooms and Residences.
Ekrem Koroglu is the new Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Vail. He was most recently serving as Director of Rooms at the Beverly Wilshire.
Rickie Pares has returned to New Orleans to take on the role of Assistant General Manager at the Windsor Court. He was previously the Director of Rooms at the Omni Royal Orleans before taking on his most recent role with the Inn at Perry Cabin as Director of Operations.
Jonathan Wolfe has been named Director of Operations at the Paligroup. He was most recently at Plaza La Reina as General Manager. Wolfe is the former Hotel Manager at the Oceana Beach Club Hotel.
The Four Seasons Jackson Hole has appointed Chris Matthew Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from Dan Myers. Matthew was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Loews Atlanta.
Willis Loughhead has been named Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef of the Crowne Plaza Times Square. For the past two years, he had served as Executive Chef of the InterContinental Barclay Hotel. Loughhead was previously the Executive Chef at the Fairmont Plaza Hotel.
Daniel Rivera has been named Director of Food and Beverage at The Line Los Angeles. He was most recently the Director of Venues
for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
in San Jose.
Suzie Hiller moves a few blocks to the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills as Director of Human Resources, taking over from Linda Stigter. Since 2013, Hiller had served as Assistant Director of Human Resources at the nearby Beverly Wilshire.
Stephanie Benadof has been named Corporate Director of Human Resources at The Hotel Group. She was most recently with Asure Consulting.
Jamey Cua has been appointed Senior Vice President, Managed Development, for Sage Hospitality in Denver. He is the former Vice President of Development – East Region for Marriott International and Senior Director of Development with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Jeanne Delgado has been named Area Director of Sales for Rosewood Hotels and Resorts. She moves into her new role from her most recent post as Director of Sales for Rosewood’s The Carlyle. Delgado had previously served in sales positions at the St. Regis New York, the Mark, and the Gramercy Park Hotel.
Janice Snowden has returned to the Four Seasons Santa Barbara as Director of Marketing. She had previously served in this same position before joining the Dorchester Collection in 2012 as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for both the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Hotel Bel-Air.
Nicole Spillane has joined the Four Seasons New York as Director of Marketing, taking over from Paula Dirks. Spillane was most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Northwood Hospitality.
The Four Seasons Toronto has named Salar Alemi Director of Marketing. He was most recently in the same position at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald.
James Tattersall has moved to the position of Director of Marketing at the
Four Seasons Palo Alto. He was most recently serving the hotel as Director of Sales.
Rebecca Huetter is now at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for both Shutters on the Beach and Casa del Mar. Huetter is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.
Daniel Ben-Efraim takes over from Rebecca Huetter as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Edward Hotels Collection, overseeing Shutters on the Beach and Casa del Mar. Most recently, he was the Director of Marketing at the Loews Regency New York.
Kara Adamson is the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the Carmel Valley Ranch and Ventana. She was most recently in the same post at Las Alcobas, Napa Valley. Adamson also spent 14 years at Auberge du Soleil.
Maria Elena has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Mahekal Beach Resort in Playa Del Carmen. Most recently, she served as Group Account Director at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson.
Aileen Carreon has moved to the Edition West Hollywood as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently serving as Director of Sales at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Carreon is the former Director of Sales at the Peninsula Beverly Hills and the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Mark Arnao has been appointed Executive Chef for the St. Regis New York. Arnao was most recently the Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park followed by the Westchester Country Club.
Matthew Padilla has been appointed Executive Chef at the Grace White Barn Inn & Spa. He was most recently with the Inn at Dos Brisas as Executive Chef.
Jeffery Walter has joined Montage Laguna Beach as Executive Chef. Most recently, Walter served as Executive Chef at the Bellagio. He is the former Executive Chef of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, and Caesars Palace Las Vegas Resort and Casino
Maxime Michaud has been named Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Philadelphia at Comcast Center. He was most recently in the same post at the Four Seasons Seychelles.
Sébastien Archambault is now in Dallas as Executive Chef at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. He is the former Executive Chef at the Park Hyatt New York, the Blue Duck Tavern at the Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. and L’Epicerie in Culver City.
Paolo Lavezzini has joined the Four Seasons São Paulo at Nações Unidas as Executive Chef. He was most recently with the Fasano Hotel in Rio de Janeiro where he has been the Executive Chef since 2012.
Mark Hellrung passed away March 23, 2018, shortly after celebrating his 25th anniversary with Four Seasons. Since 2008, he had been the General Manager of the Four Seasons Las Vegas, following other GM stints with Four Seasons in Hawaii, Houston and the Caribbean.
EUROPE
Jennifer Fox has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels in London, taking over from Aloysius Lee and interim group CEO Tan Kian Seng. Fox is the former President of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. She also served as Chief Operating Officer, Europe, for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.
Vincent Hoogewijs has been appointed Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square. He was most recently in the same role for the Four Seasons Amman.
Stuart Geddes has been promoted to General Manager at The Goring in London. Since 2014 he had served as Hotel Manager.
George Vlachopoulos has been appointed General Manager at the Grace Santorini. He was previously with the Radisson Blu Park Athens and the Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel & Spa on Kos.
Christian Höhn has been named General Manager at the W Paris-Opéra. He was most recently the Managing Director of the W Istanbul.
István Kovács has been named General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz in Malta. He was most recently serving as Hotel Manager of the Kempinski Corvinus in Budapest.
Emmanuel Gamez has moved to the Maison Armance in Paris as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Hotel Mansart.
Annabelle Gamelin has joined the Hostellerie de Crillon Le Brave as General Manager. She had previously overseen sales and marketing at La Réserve Paris and the Shangri-La Paris.
Emmanuele Selvaggi has joined the Four Seasons Milan as Hotel Manager. He has been with the company since 2004, most recently as Hotel Manager for the Four Seasons Florence.
Jann Kaiser has been promoted to Hotel Manager with his move over to the Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square. He was most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Park Lane.
Daniela Trovato has been promoted at the Four Seasons Florence to Hotel Manager, taking over from Emmanuele Selvaggi. She joined the hotel in 2007 as a Sales Manager and was most recently serving as their Regional Director of Marketing.
Kelly O’Neill has been appointed Director of Sales at the Strand Palace Hotel in London. She had previously served in sales positions at the DoubleTree by Hilton London, the Canary Riverside Plaza and the Hilton London Bankside.
Franco Sterl has been appointed Director E-Commerce at WorldHotels, based in Berlin. He was most recently the Director of Digital Marketing & eCommerce and Member of the Executive Board at Leonardo Hotels Europe in Berlin.
Martin Cahill has joined the Rosewood London as Executive Chef. He was most recently in the same position at Dukes Hotel Dubai.
ASIA AND THE PACIFIC
The Four Seasons Maui has named Marc Bromley General Manager, taking over from Jean-Claude Wietzel. Bromley was most recently overseeing the Four Seasons Scottsdale.
Oliver Key has been named Managing Director at the St. Regis Bali & The Laguna Bali. He is the former General Manager of the St. Regis Bal Harbour and the St. Regis Abu Dhabi.
Michael Pye has been appointed General Manager at the Fairmont Kea Lani. He was most recently the General Manager of the Fairmont Vancouver.
Jan Tibaldi has been appointed General Manager at the One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives. He was most recently the General Manager at the PuLi Hotel and Spa in Shanghai.
The Four Seasons Koh Samui has appointed Reza Jafari Resort Manager. He was most recently Camp Manager for the Four Seasons Golden Triangle.
Lea Séguier has joined Anthony Knox & Associates in Sydney as Associate Director. Séguier was most recently with La Réserve as Director of Sales Australia and UK and Director of Public Relations.
Neha Bose has joined the Four Seasons Bengaluru as Director of Rooms. She was previously in a similar role at the Trident Gurgaon.
MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA
Lorenzo Maraviglia has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Dubai International Financial Centre. He was most recently overseeing food and beverage at the hotel.
Maria Sabella has been named Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Beirut. She was most recently the Director of Sales for the Four Seasons Geneva.
Esat Akyildiz has moved as Executive Chef to the Ritz-Carlton Riyadh. He was most recently in the same role at the Ritz-Carlton Almaty.
The Four Seasons Mauritius at Anhaita has promoted Marie Chaverny to Director of Rooms. She joined the resort in 2015 as Assistant Director of Rooms.
