IDeaS announced that Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach has strengthened its revenues and market position with IDeaS G3 RMS.

Since adopting the system, the property has achieved a 10.3% rise in Revenue Generation Index (RGI) and a 10.5% increase in RevPAR.

Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach, a luxury resort with 227 rooms overlooking the Andaman Sea, operates with a Cluster Director of Revenue and Distribution, Vikas Tomar. Tomar oversees revenue strategy for four hotels in Thailand, including the Pullman Arcadia.

Before implementing IDeaS G3 RMS at the Pullman Arcadia, revenue tasks were manual and time-consuming. Now, G3 RMS analyses demand and provides accurate pricing recommendations, offering transparent logic behind its suggestions. This shift allowed Tomar to focus on strategic decisions instead of routine tasks, a transformational and welcome change that streamlined daily revenue management activity.

At Pullman Arcadia, data and analytics from G3 RMS are crucial in making informed, timely decisions today. “A human can easily miss things, but with G3 RMS reporting, I can look at the data and see what specific market segment we are missing demand from,” says Vikas Tomar, Accor’s Cluster Director of Revenue and Distribution.

Beyond growing RevPAR, the Pullman Arcadia has also achieved a higher Revenue Generation Index (RGI) since implementing the G3 RMS, confirming that the property was not only capturing demand but also gaining market share and stimulating competitors. This improvement was enabled by G3 RMS’ demand forecasts generating precise, tailor-made pricing recommendations, enabling the team to respond with confidence and accuracy in a highly dynamic market. The Pullman Arcadia has also increased its share of online business, with more direct bookings indicating that its pricing strategies were resonating in the digital marketplace.

Since implementing the G3 RMS, Pullman Arcadia recorded a 10.3% rise in RGI and a 10.5% increase in RevPAR compared to the same period the year before. The hotel also consistently ranks first in its competitive set for ARI, highlighting its market rate leadership. The G3 RMS system has helped save time and optimize pricing strategies, enabling the commercial team to make faster, more confident decisions.

In addition to driving more strategic actions, G3 RMS significantly improves day-to-day commercial team efficiencies.

“G3 RMS empowers us to utilize our time to generate business, look ahead, and take positive actions to increase property performance. G3 RMS makes it easy to understand your business with one click and gives you a full analysis and reasoning behind system recommendations,” says Tomar.

The group evaluation feature in G3 RMS, which analyses demand and recommends rates for group business, is of particular importance to Pullman Arcadia. Previously, generating group quotes required waiting for the Cluster Director of Revenue and Distribution’s availability, potentially delaying responses to guests. Now, the sales team can input group details into G3 RMS and receive pricing recommendations instantly, empowering them to make decisions quickly, confidently, and independently.
