
The second phase of the Short Breaks online campaign has been recently rolled out in Hong Kong.
The My Short Break Self Drive website features a campaign product page, and links up with Aussie Packages on agents' website landing pages.
A printed booklet with self drive itineraries has been produced to complement the online information and includes useful travel information and driving tips.
Consumers are invited to vote for their best self drive itinerary online by posting votes via facebook. Banner advertising is on on.cc, TVB.com, Discuss.com and Uwants.com will further drive the traffic to the website via social media sites.
Full page and half page advertising will also appear in Next magazine, AM730, Metro, U-magazine, Weekend Weekly, Apple Daily, Sing Tao, Express Weekly, ODN and HKET from 25 February to 30 March 2010. A self drive feature will also appear in Oriental Daily News, Express Weekly and Metro Daily in March.
The campaign is the result of cooperative partnerships with Cathay Pacific Airways, Hertz and 12 FIT travel agents.
