A new opinion poll conducted by the Lowy Institute has found that the Chinese have a very favourable view of Australia as a place to visit.
The Lowy Institute China Poll asked 1200 Chinese respondents what they thought about Australia and 84 per cent agreed that Australia is ‘a good place to visit', followed by 68 per cent who said it was ‘a country with attractive values'.
Less than one per cent of those polled had visited Australia.
