Several months of building beer tents - setting up rides - putting up signs and preparing the "Theresienwiese", are over.

On Saturday September 16th the 173rd Munich Oktoberfest was traditionally declared open by the major of Munich, Christian Ude, with the famous words "O'zapft is!" - the barrel has been tapped.
