Booking-dot-com at Schiphol Airport.

Booking.com has officially opened its hotel reservations desk at Schiphol Airport, which located in the baggage reclaim hall in Terminal 1.

Travellers arriving without a hotel reservation are now able to book a hotel directly at the desk.

The Booking.com desk is open from 7.30am until 11.30pm and is fully manned with staff making the reservation on behalf of the traveller.  Customers do not need to go online to make the reservation themselves.

Stef Norden, CEO of Booking.com stated: "Travellers arriving at Schiphol Airport account for approximately 1 to 1.4 million room nights per year, therefore we are delighted to be able to provide this service. By being able to offer passengers instant last-minute hotel reservations, we have high expectations of this cooperation."

Booking.com is one of Europe's leading online hotel reservations companies and offers over 25.000 hotels with extensive availability in more than 6,000 destinations word wide.

In the Netherlands, Booking.com has over 1,260 hotels of which 241 are located in Amsterdam. Passengers arriving at Schiphol can now make a last minute reservation at the Booking.com desk and easily find a hotel within their price range.
