Providers from over 30 countries – Innovations from established companies and aspiring startups on the eTravel Stage – Networking areas for a dialogue with tech enthusiasts – Numerous travel tech experts will provide insights at the ITB Berlin Convention 2023.

The strong appearance by the Travel Technology segment from 7 to 9 March 2023 at ITB Berlin reflects the huge innovative force of the tourism industry. The World’s Largest Travel Trade Show mirrors the entire technology value chain, ranging from channel and content management solutions, hotel technology, web & data analytics software and front/back office systems, to social media, payment solutions and aspiring startups.

The travel tech providers are from over 30 countries and represented in four halls (Halls 5.1, 6.1, 7.1c and 8.1.), where they will present their latest products and ideas for the entire tourism industry. They include ASKSUITE TECNOLOGIA LTDA, Blastness, BUSINESS FRANCE (French startup village), Spain Travel Tech (French startup village), HiJiffy, Hotelmize, mTrip and Qtravel.ai, among many others.

This year, Sabre is on a stand three times larger than in 2019, and for the blockchain expert Chain4Travel this is their first time at ITB Berlin. Compared with trade fairs in 2019, when ITB Berlin last took place as an in-person event, there are many new and above all international BI/data and payment providers among this year’s Travel Tech exhibitors.

For the second time, the Technology, Tours & Activities (TTA) segment will be represented live at the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show. The TTA marketplace in Hall 4.1 is an important meeting place for tour managers, operators, technology specialists, travel destinations and agencies. This is where trade visitors can find both startups and established companies who are presenting their innovative products and the latest survey findings.

ITB Berlin eTravel Stage in Hall 6.1 – a thinktank and ideas factory

On all three days of the show on the ITB eTravel Stage in Hall 6.1, established companies and aspiring startups will be represented in the role of ideas factories for tech-driven innovation and digital transformation in the tourism and hotel industries.

Their slogan is ’Mastering transformation: where to start and steer in order to master transformation processes with technology’. The programme features topical keynote speeches, case studies referencing best practices, reports, significant learnings, as well as pitches and panel discussions surrounding travel technology and digitalisation in the travel industry.

Going in search of and engaging with tech enthusiasts is what the various networking areas on the exhibition grounds at ITB Berlin are all about, for example at the eTravel Lounge & hotelcampus by HQ Plus in Hall 6.1 and the ITB Travel Tech Café sponsored by GIATA in Hall 5.1.
