The Peninsula and St. Regis Rank Highest Among Business Travelers.
By Melanie Nayer ~ Weekly Exclusive - Views On The Latest Trends
Wednesday, 25th September 2013

Exclusive Feature: Business travelers today need more than just a decent WiFi connection and a working alarm clock.

They're constantly on the go, hosting business meetings from 35,000-feet and inside hotel room suites, and desperately seeking a good night's sleep. Even more, they need to do it with efficiency while keeping in mind the price tag.

While loyalty points and membership perks from hotel brands certainly help in creating a repeat business traveler, there are other factors that play into the booking decision.

So where to stay on your next business trip? Conde Nast asked their readers for help picking the best of the best business hotels around the world.

Equation Research conducted the survey with business travelers and asked them to rate hotels, hotel brands, and airlines as excellent, very good, good, fair or poor on a variety of criteria and the results were tallied on a scale of 1-100.

Here's how hotels in the U.S. ranked:

1. St. Regis, Atlanta 99.0
2. XV Beacon, Boston 97.9
3. The Kimberly, New York 97.7
4. Four Seasons Dallas at Las Colinas, 96.1
5. The Peninsula, Chicago 95.1

These hotels ranked highest in Asia:

1. The Peninsula Hong Kong, 94.6
2. The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong 93.0
3. The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street 92.9
4. Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, 91.7
5. Shangri-La, Bangkok 91.3
