Renaissance in Istanbul.

Marriott International has signed a franchise agreement with Polat Holdings AS for a new hotel in Turkey.

Construction is already under way on the 212-room Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel, and the 20-storey hotel is expected to open in the first quarter of 2012.

Marriott currently has three Renaissance hotels in operation in Turkey (including one in Istanbul and one in the resort of Erzurum that were also developed by Polat).
