Tourism Australia has been successful in negotiating a deal with Korean Air, resulting in the production and placement of a new advertising campaign promoting Australia as a major destination.
Korean Air is investing more than $A3 million in the campaign, which is also being supported by Tourism Queensland, Tourism New South Wales and Tourism Victoria.
Tourism Australia made the negotiations in the face of tough competition from New Zealand and the United States.

The campaign will commence next week and run until March via television, cinema, online, radio, print and outdoor media, promoting Korean Air's regular services to Australia.
Three versions of the ad were filmed around the Gold Coast and Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Harbour and the Great Ocean Road.
Korean Air has 15 flights each week from Seoul servicing Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
