Hard Rock announced the opening of another cafe, a new 8,500-square-foot cafe and retail outlet at the center of Pune, Maharashtra.

The opening of Hard Rock Cafe Pune marks India's fourth Hard Rock Cafe location, joining the flagship Mumbai cafe and locations in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, which opened in September 2006, December 2007 and March 2008, respectively.

Operated by franchisee HR Cafe India Pvt. Ltd., Hard Rock Cafe Pune is located at Plot No. 81/82 East Main Road, Koregaon Park Extension, at the very heart of this booming city. Hard Rock Cafe Pune is ideally situated near luxury hotels and great shopping, and a short distance from the international airport, offering a convenient destination for both local fans and international travelers.

Hard Rock Cafe Pune will be one of the city's premier dining and entertainment destinations, with three distinct sections, including a 120-seat restaurant, a bar area and an a 80-seat open courtyard, as well as Hard Rock's signature retail Rock Shop. Located in the heart of the Koregaon Park extension near the world-famous spiritual centre Osho Ashram, the state-of-the-art facility will be adorned with pieces from Hard Rock's world-famous memorabilia collection, including items representing both contemporary stars and rock legends, such as Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Prince, Eric Clapton and many more.

Additional key memorabilia items on display include a black leather jacket once worn by Bob Dylan, a Welson Hollowbody electric guitar signed by Bono and The Edge of U2, Elton John's denim patch coat and more.

Hard Rock Cafe Pune will be owned and operated by HR Cafe India Pvt. Ltd., which boasts extensive experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, including India's three existing cafe locations.

For the first time, Hard Rock Cafe Pune limited-edition and city-specific merchandise will be available. The Rock Shop will offer a limited line of authentic Hard Rock Cafe items, including Hard Rock's famous Classic and City t-shirts, as well as highly collectible accessories and pins. In addition, the Pune cafe will offer Hard Rock's charity-driven Signature Series T-shirt line, featuring artists such as U2's Bono, Shakira, and Green Day.
