The four star Beatles inspired boutique hotel in Liverpool, has today been awarded an "excellent" score of 85% in its first annual VisitBritain Hotel Standards Report.

A number of key areas that Hard Days Night Hotel excelled in were highlighted by the report. The bedrooms scored "excellent" ratings with specific mention to the comfort of the beds, size and space of the rooms as well as the presentation. Hospitality and friendliness was rated as "very good" throughout the hotel including reservations, the reception area and in both the hotel's two bars, Bar Four and Hari's Bar and two restaurants, Blakes and The Brasserie.

The appearance of the building and all public areas were also awarded "excellent" ratings. Particular reference was made to the preservation of the original building without detraction and the manner in which the themed areas were in keeping with the emphasis of the building.

VisitBritain conducts annual hotel assessments across all hotels England and, following its opening on 1st February, this was the first report for Hard Days Night Hotel.

Mike Dewey, Hard Days Night Hotel, general manager said: "We have only been open a short time but to have already achieved this exceptional score is a testament to the hard work and commitment that has gone into making this project a reality. This recognition is reward for everyone who is involved with the hotel and we are already looking forward to improving our rating in 2009."
