Following the review of its inflight beauty therapy services, offered in the air and on the ground, the decision has been taken to significantly expand the number of treatments offered at its flagship Heathrow Clubhouse from May onwards.

This leads to a 70% increase in treatments. Virgin Atlantic also today announced that the inflight service will cease and all inflight beauty therapists will be offered jobs either as cabin crew or beauty therapists on the ground.

Lyell Strambi, Chief Operating Officer for Virgin Atlantic, commented:

"We continually review and adapt the product we are investing in to ensure it reflects what is most valued by our customers. As a result of the review we are increasing the number of beauty therapists working at the Heathrow Clubhouse leading to an increase of 70% more treatments everyday. We have expanded and improved our Clubhouses around the world and will also be continuing with our plans to offer spa facilities in our other Clubhouses. We hope to announce further details in due course.
