The company has added 40 new hotels to its global portfolio in the first six months of 2007, including five new properties in June -

The latest additions in June included a Park Inn(R) in Mannheim, Germany; a Country Inns & Suites By Carlson(R) in Fredericksburg, Va.; one Radisson SAS property in MIJAS, Spain; and two Radisson Hotels & Resorts(R) properties in Vitoria City, Brazil; and Nashua, N.H.

"In the first six months of 2007, we added 40 hotels in 13 countries and signed another 44 new deals year-to-date expanding our development pipeline ahead of expectations," added Sturgess. "This steady growth pace will continue to broaden hotel choices at our brands for travelers around the world."


The company's hotel brands also include Regent Hotels & Resorts and Park Plaza(R) Hotels & Resorts.


Radisson Hotels & Resorts


In New Hampshire, the 336-room Radisson Hotel Nashua, owned by Southern New Hampshire Hospitality, LLC, is centrally located to New England destinations including skiing, visitor attractions, historic sites, tax-free shopping and major corporate offices.


The property's unique architecture is reminiscent of a Tudor manor, and amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, indoor pool, spa, and professionally managed fitness center. On-site catering and an award-winning culinary team make it an ideal location for business meetings and conferences, or even a wedding or anniversary.


Radisson Hotels & Resorts' development partner, Atlantica Hotels International of Brazil, has opened the first luxury hotel in Vitoria, Brazil- the new Radisson Hotel Vitoria. All 234 guestrooms and suites at the Radisson Hotel Vitoria, offer ocean views and the hotel's Royal Suites offer Royal Dreaming Beds. Every guest receives a full breakfast buffet daily, and Origens, an onsite 200-seat restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Spacious meeting facilities accommodate up to 300 people and feature sound-proof rooms, state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and professional support.


Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts


Located in the heart of Golf Valley in southern Spain, the new Radisson SAS El Marques Resort & Spa is close to The Lakes and The Olive Trees golf courses, which were designed by Robert Trent Jones. The new resort, located between Malaga and Marbella, includes 105 luxury suites. Each of the one-to-three-bedroom suites offers a spacious living room, kitchen and a large terrace. Spa facilities include an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi(R), sauna, Turkish bath and cabins for massages. Guests can choose from four different restaurants and snack bars offering a tempting Mediterranean cuisine.


With these three additions, the Radisson global portfolio now numbers 400 properties and 89,149 rooms in 64 countries.


Country Inns & Suites By Carlson


The 119-room Country Inn & Suites Fredericksburg South is located five miles from downtown Fredericksburg, Va. The hotel, owned by Danville Development Corporation, brings the total number of Country Inns & Suites globally to 418 properties.


Complimentary services available to hotel guests include daily continental breakfast, morning newspaper, fax and copier services, and outdoor parking. The hotel also offers a guest laundry facility. Guestrooms feature complimentary high-speed Internet access, coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, refrigerator and microwave. Public amenities include an outdoor pool and on-site health club facilities.


Park Inn


The new 180-room Park Inn in Mannheim, Germany, offers comfortable rooms that were completely renovated before joining the Park Inn brand. Nine conference rooms offer capacity for groups of up to 450. There is also a restaurant offering international and regional specialties and a comfortable lobby bar.


The hotel is centrally located close to the tram line and within a 15-minute walk to the city center. Nearby attractions include the planetarium and Luisenpark, which includes a botanical garden and a zoo, and is considered to be one of Europe's most beautiful parks. The Park Inn global portfolio now totals 85 hotels with 13,730 guestrooms.
