Rezidor has contracted a new Radisson Style Hotel in Rostov-on-Don.

Centrally located at the shores of the River Don, it will feature 81 guestrooms and is scheduled to open by the end of 2007. "The Radisson Style Hotel will be the first internationally managed property in the city", comments Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of The Rezidor Hotel Group. "The project is part of our strategic development in Russia and the CIS – this region is in our focus for the future."

Besides 81 modern and stylish designed guestrooms – divided into 56 standard rooms, 16 junior suites, 8 suites and 1 presidential suite – the new hotel will offer a restaurant and a bar. Adjacent to the hotel site, guests will find the popular Volga-Don river cruises passenger port.

Further attractions such as the river promenade, restaurants, bars and clubs and the central market are close to the hotel as well. Rostov-on-Don's railway station is 2 kilometres away, the airport 9 kilometres.

"The Radisson brand means a big advantage to Rostov's infrastructure", stated Sarkis Gogorian, General Director of DonOtel, owner of the new hotel, "it will raise the profile of the city on an international stage". The Rezidor Hotel Group develops the project in cooperation with DonOtel and Donskoy Prichal; Thore Schindowski Consulting accompanies both as an advisor.
