Dubai targeted Europe at BIT 07.

Dubai was promoted as an ideal year-round business and leisure destination, at the Italian International Tourism Exchange (BIT-2007) in Milan from February 22 to 25.

Dubai participated in this influential tourism and travel exhibition for the 17th successive year. It put up a 112 square metre stand which attracted huge number of visitors.

The Dubai Cruise Terminal was represented by Mr. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, while Mr. Khalid bin Nassar, Executive Overseas Promotions, represented the DTCM.

BIT-2007 is Italy 's most important travel exhibition for both the trade and consume More than 5000 exhibitors attended the exhibition put up on a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. It attracted more than 150,000 visitors, including 3400 journalists, from 120 countries.

The co-participants were Grosvenor House, Net Group, Jebel Ali International Hotels, Travco, Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa, Al Kazemi Tours, Fly Express, Rida International Tourism and Dubai Cruise Terminal. 

Mr. Awadh Al Ketbi said the exhibition was utilized to highlight the facilities in Dubai, especially cruise terminal, and other tourism development initiatives
