After founding Soho House in 1995 – he opened the first location above his restaurant Café Boheme – and growing it into an international empire encompassing members’ clubs, workspaces, cinemas, and restaurants, Nick Jones stepped down as CEO of the company in 2022.

Earlier this summer, under his new Jones & Co group, he opened Corner Shop 180 a grocery, deli, bakery, cafe, and wine bar, basically a one-stop-shop for all things foodie, at the 180 the Thames complex on the Strand.

Now he’s getting back into the hotel game and opening the St. Clement Hotel above the shop in 2026. The property will boast 90 bedrooms, 15 apartments, a gym and a rooftop restaurant.

That’s all we know about the hotel so far, but given how insanely popular Corner Shop has been, we have no doubt that whatever he opens above it will be a smash hit too.
