TPG Angelo Gordon and EQ sell Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs in Paris
Global investment manager TPG Angelo Gordon and hotel investor EQ Group have sold the four-star, 138-room Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs in Paris, France, through a private club deal. The property is situated in Paris’s 6th district, five-minutes walk from the Jardin du Luxembourg. The hotel includes a restaurant, two bars and two meeting rooms, and is the sister property of the four-star, 109-room Hôtel Dame des Arts, which the current sellers sold last year, as reported in this newsletter.
Starhotels acquires Hermitage Hotel & Resort in Tuscany from Maschietto Family
Italian owner-operator Starhotels has acquired the four-star, 59-room Hermitage Hotel & Resort in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, from the Italian Maschietto Family, who founded the hotel in the 1970s. The property is situated a short walk from the beach in the northern Tuscany seaside town, a 30-minute drive north of Pisa Airport. The hotel includes a restaurant & bar and swimming pool. It will join Starhotels’ Collezione portfolio at the end of the 2025 summer season and will be the group’s first resort.
HN6 Active acquires Hôtel Splendor in Paris from 123 IM
French hotel investor HN6 Active (Chapter 6) has acquired the three-star, 27-room Hôtel Splendor in Paris, France, from French real estate management company 123 Investment Managers and a minority partner the Boitel family for an amount reported to be between €8.1 and €9.5 million (€300,000-350,000 per room). The property includes a breakfast restaurant and is situated in Paris’s 17th district, some 15-minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe. Founded in 2016, HN6 Active saw Goldman Sachs Asset Management acquire a 20% stake last year.
