Mandarin Oriental Private Homes currently features 25 hand-picked luxurious private villas and mansions in the world’s most sought-after destinations.

Mandarin Oriental has announced full ownership in its branded collection of the world’s finest private vacation homes and mansions and will operate the business independently.

In line with the Group's brand-led, guest-centric vision, the portfolio offers more exceptional luxury experiences for guests in sought-after destinations. Launched as a limited collection of eight properties in 2022, the Group plans to grow the portfolio and further cement its leadership in the luxury villa market and simultaneously grow the base of Fans around the world.

In recognition of the Group’s strategic vision to be ‘Fans of the Exceptional, Every Day, Everywhere.’, the collection will be rebranded as Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes. This embodies the brand’s legendary service and unique heritage and its unwavering commitment to excellence while continuously innovating the guest experience.

Over the past three years, the Group has expanded the portfolio to 25 properties, each meticulously selected for their outstanding quality and sought-after locations, delivering exceptional service and experiences synonymous with the legendary hospitality of the award-winning brand.

As part of its commitment to accelerating portfolio growth, the Group will focus its expansion on luxury leisure destinations, including European summer hotspots across the Mediterranean, winter retreats in the Alps, in addition to both summer and winter destinations in North America, ensuring guests can enjoy Mandarin Oriental service year-round in the most desirable settings.

The collection offers a variety of personally tailored experiences, from beachside retreats and authentic cultural experiences to wellness-focused stays, family-friendly venues and vibrant party settings. The concept enables the Group to tap into a broader client base, including guests seeking multi-generational stays, family celebrations, and discerning travellers requiring privacy and exclusivity.

“Since launch, these exquisite private homes have become a natural extension to the Mandarin Oriental brand, providing us with an opportunity to enter new destinations and introduce unique experiences to our Fans around the world. Each hand-picked luxurious home fits naturally into our portfolio and in many cases, their locations provide opportunities for our guests to combine a hotel stay with a villa experience and explore more of the destination in different ways – all with the assurance of Mandarin Oriental’s award-winning brand. We are committed to bringing the full experience into the brand, expanding and enhancing our offering, and identifying many more private homes for our growing collection.” said Laurent Kleitman, Group Chief Executive of Mandarin Oriental.

Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes are located in popular destinations throughout Europe, Asia and the US, ranging from quintessential manors in the Cotswold’s, magnificent mansions in the heart of London, and idyllic beach-front villas in the South of France and Santorini. Guests can also enjoy hillside private homes in Mallorca and Ibiza, exquisitely restored farmhouses in Puglia and an expansive estate in Costa Brava. For those seeking tranquility, the portfolio offers peaceful retreats in Phuket and Bali, in addition to stunning contemporary homes in Bel Air. What makes the offering even more enticing is the impeccable service provided by a team who have been meticulously trained by Mandarin Oriental and who have exceptional local knowledge of each destination.
