Asia Pacific's leading luxury hotel group has been voted Preferred Hotel/Hotel Chain in Asia, in the fifth annual TIME Readers' Travel Choice Awards. 

The group has received this accolade every year since the awards' inception. In addition, Shangri-La's Mactan Island Resort and Spa, Cebu in the Philippines was voted Favourite Resort Hotel and Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore was runner-up for Favourite Business Hotel.

The survey, independently tabulated by Synovate, was open to all TIME readers in Asia with a total of 2,193 respondents. There were nominations in 11 categories for readers to choose the best business cities, airports, resorts, holiday destinations, airlines and hotels around the region.
