Starwood announces its first property in the Central American republic of El Salvador, the Sheraton Presidente San Salvador. The hotel is located in the bustling capital city of San Salvador. The property is a franchise agreement between Starwood and Hoteles y Desarrollos S.A. de C.V.

The Sheraton Presidente San Salvador is situated in the capital of El Salvador, in the city's fashionable Zona Rosa district, only ten minutes from the major business, shopping and entertainment and within five minutes from international consulates and embassies. The hotel features 220 guestrooms, suites and a Presidential Suite, all equipped with the brand's signature custom-designed Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed®, high-speed Internet access and cable TV.
The property's in-house restaurant, La Terraza, offers diners an expansive menu that highlights the regional fare of El Salvador and accommodates up to 150 customers. Among the various dining options are the hotel Bistr?"San Benito", seating 50 and the "Marquise" Lobby Bar, serving local and international drinks.
In addition, planners will also benefit from the hotel's meetings and conventions facilities including 11 meeting rooms handling both large and small venues, totaling over 12,000 square feet. The Sheraton Presidente San Salvador's business center is fully equipped, featuring many high-tech services and functional facilities.
Guests seeking to relax and work out will be able to enjoy the hotel's fitness center, with its saunas and outdoor swimming pool set amid lush landscaped areas and delightful cascades.
Starwood's other properties in Central America include The Westin Camino Real in Guatemala City and the Four Points by Sheraton in Panama City. With the addition of the Sheraton Presidente San Salvador, Starwood's presence in Mexico, Central and Latin America includes a total of 49 properties in 12 countries. |
