Conscious of the evolving travel needs of the discerning modern day traveller, Club Med - a pioneer in the ultimate holiday experience - has developed an interactive website that enables users to get a feel of all its villages from the comfort of their home or office.

The website - which can be accessed at www.clubmed.com.au, is a one stop tool for prospective guests, travel agents, media and GO's alike. Cherating Beach, Phuket, Bali, Lindeman Island, Sahoro….an endless list of exotic holiday destinations, can now be viewed at the click of a mouse.

Using the latest technological applications including flash, the newly developed website offers users ease of navigation and interactivity, transporting them into the world of Club Med through a colourful, vibrant photo-gallery and an interactive virtual tour; enabling prospective holiday makers to get a feel of each village in the Asia Pacific region.

The website offers an in-depth look into the various Club Med villages in the region, with information on the rooms, activities at the individual villages and the destination, as well as the GO teams (Club Med staff) at each village. Comprehensive information on each section provides an easy guide for the holiday-maker or travel agent.

Visitors to the website can also check out the latest offers, package rates and download the brochures or request to receive them by mail. They can also sign up for the on-line Mystery Destination contest and stand a chance to win exciting prizes that include Club Med holiday packages.

Even more, the website enables the user to choose their destination by selecting their ‘pleasure' segment, by looking at the map, directory or by selecting their preferred activity. The newly introduced ‘pleasures' concept regroups destinations according to ‘lifestyle requirements' instead of the traditional regional groupings; enabling discerning holiday makers to choose their village based on the activities, services and product offerings.

''Club Med has the distinction of setting trends in the hospitality industry and our new thrust on being more upscale, friendly and multicultural is demonstrated via the new website which showcases every aspect of our enhanced product offerings and services. The website is also in response to feedback received from customers, travel agents, media partners and GO's, where they seek something that is easy to use, accessible from any location, and be able to learn about all our products and prices easily and efficiently,'' Club Med Asia Pacific President and CEO, Joel Tiphonnet said.
