The Best Western Premier Hotel, an
Airline Operations Group (AOG) Partner Hotel, which is located near Incheon International Airport in Seoul, has just entered into a three-year crew accommodation contract with
Thai Airways International through the auspices of AOG.
Thai Airways recently joined the
AOG Hotel Procurement Alliance after reviewing the benefits provided by the alliance to other AOG Partner Airlines. Since then, the alliance has procured new hotels for Thai Airways that provides Thai crew members with better locations, facilities, amenities, and special crew benefits. By consolidating Thai Airways' hotel, transportation, room count, arrival and departure pattern, and mandatory crew rest requirements with that of other AOG Partner Airlines, AOG is able to drastically reduce Thai Airways' crew hotel and transportation cost. It is a
"win-win" situation for all AOG Partner Airlines, Hotels, and Transportation companies.
AOG is currently seeking potential crew hotels in numerous international destinations on behalf of Thai Airways, EVA Airways, TransAero Airlines, and a number of other partner airlines.
Mr. Santa Cho, General Manager of the Best Western Premier Hotel, said,
"we look forward to welcoming Thai Airways' crew members to their new ‘home' in Seoul and to making their stay very comfortable here". "We also appreciate our partnership with AOG Alliance as the alliance delivers. This is a great piece of business for the Best Western Premier Hotel", added Mr. Cho.
Mr. Glenn de Souza Managing Director-Asia Best Western,
further added "We have a great partnership with Thai Airways and are both delighted and honored to have their crew stay at our Premier property near Incheon International Airport. We thank AOG Alliance for being instrumental in making this possible."AOG, which was founded in 1995, has established a network of strategic alliances with numerous airlines, and
over 12,800 independent and branded hotels and transportation companies in 574 cities, 110 countries and on 6 continents. The company provides airline partners with its crew, inconvenienced passenger, and staff travel hotel accommodation and transportation services.
Whereas it is not economically feasible for an airline to maintain additional airport staff solely to manage the unpredictable, but inevitable task of handling inconvenienced passenger accommodation and transportation, the number of flights operated by AOG partner airlines globally makes it viable for the alliance to provide its partner airlines with a
"One-stop Shop" through
AOG's 24-Hour Global Call Center (GCC) which is based in Bangkok, Thailand.AOG's
GCC, which is located on the 16th Floor of Lake Rajada Office Complex, 193-195 Ratchadapisek Road,

Bangkok, is equipped to handle any number of global toll-free calls from its partner airlines through
AOG's "one-call-does-it-all" service, in relation to securing hotel accommodation, meals, and transportation services for misconnecting or delayed passengers at the last minute.
