Airline Operations Group (AOG) and the AOG Alliance's services was recently sought after by Thai Airways International to support its Crew Accommodation Hotel Committee in streamlining its hotel procuring process, and securing the best hotel and transportation services worldwide.

Last month AOG successfully procured a new 3-year crew accommodation contract, for Thai Airways in Zurich, based on 40 rooms daily beginning March 1, 2005.

By consolidating Thai Airways' hotel and transportation requirements for Zurich, AOG was able to reduce Thai's cost by over 100 million baht, or US$ 2.5 million for Zurich alone.

On behalf of Thai Airways, AOG is currently seeking hotels in numerous other Thai Airways International destinations that are interested in housing Thai Airways' crew members.

AOG, which was founded in 1995, has established a network of strategic alliances with numerous airlines, and over 12,500 independent and branded hotels and transportation companies in 574 cities, 110 countries and on 6 continents. The company provides airlines with its crew, inconvenienced passenger, and staff travel hotel accommodation and transportation services.

Whereas it is not economically feasible for an airline to maintain additional airport staff solely to manage the unpredictable, but inevitable task of handling inconvenienced passenger accommodation and transportation, the number of flights operated by AOG partners globally makes it viable for the AOG Alliance to provide its airline partners with a One-stop Shop through AOG's 24-Hour Global Call Center (GCC) which is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

AOG's GCC, which is located on the 16th Floor of Lake Rajada Office Complex, 193-195 Ratchadapisek Road, Bangkok, is equipped to handle any number of global toll-free calls from its airline partners through AOG's "one-call-does-it-all" service, in relation to securing hotel accommodation, meals, and transportation services for misconnecting or delayed passengers at the last minute.
