China Travel Innovation Challenge – Spotting the next big innovator.

TravelDaily China is set to host an exciting contest, China Travel Innovation Challenge, offering a perfect platform for innovators to gain recognition in front of industry’s marquee brands.

The travel industry in China has exhibited exemplary appetite for innovation, crafting superlative products both in the B2C and B2B domain over the past few years. It’s pulsating whenever a disruptive idea surfaces.

Now TravelDaily China is offering a perfect platform to innovators to showcase their proficiency at China Travel Innovation Challenge (CTIC), to be held in Shanghai on September 14 this year.

CTIC, to be held on the second day of the 2017 TravelDaily Conference, is going to be adjudged by a panel of esteemed judges and witnessed by an audience of more than 1,300 senior executives from the fraternity. The conference is set to feature the cream of the industry, including executives from Priceline, Ctrip, Google, Facebook, Alitrip, Tencent, LY.com,Tujia, China Lodging Group, IHG, Amadeus, Travelport, Sabre, and many other top companies.

Six finalists will be selected from amongst the entries of international or domestic companies to vie for the China Travel Innovation Award.

Who may take part?

CTIC welcomes applications from teams of listed companies or start-ups that meet the following requirements:

  • The nominated products product’s release date shouldn’t be earlier than July 1, 2016.
  • The product should be compatible with PC, mobile, wearable or VR/ AR devices.
  • The nominated product is designed to improve travel booking experience and travel experience for travelers, or improve operation efficiency and marketing ROI for travel companies.
