Situated at the top of the 101-storey Shanghai World Financial Centre, Park Hyatt Shanghai welcomes guests with a museum experience. Upon arrival, the reception area greets guests with its huge scenery backdrop featuring Chinese artist Paul Ching-Bor's painting on Shanghai cityscape. The entrance then invites guests to lower lobby area with Gao Xiaowu's sculpture, the first of many art works on the walls. Other interior decors, rich in traditional Chinese geometry and architecture, will further pamper guests with the sophisticated yet homely modern-Chinese residence.

With Botticelli's masterpiece Venus exhibited in the inaugural show of the MGM Art Space, a more relevant welcome to new guests begins at the main lobby – where Washington-born Dale Chihuly's fine glass sculptures and wall paintings echo with each other.
