Hyatt International joins hands with Bang & Olufsen to give guests a state-of-the-art experience they'll dream of taking home.
In line with the Bang & Olufsen vision to constantly question the ordinary in search of surprising, long lasting experiences, a new strategic partnership between Hyatt International and Bang & Olufsen is inspiring guests with custom-designed environments to create an overall atmosphere they will not want to leave behind. Because Bang & Olufsen is renowned for its unique line of impeccably-designed audio, video, and telecommunication products, and Hyatt International is renowned for the unique aesthetics and design of each of its luxury hotels, the two have decided to join forces to enhance their respective brands globally. Indeed this collaboration exceeds the simple buyer-supplier relationship by developing cooperative marketing initiatives and design projects.
The companies' first exclusive collaboration was for the August 2002 opening of Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, a mutual success leading to the present ongoing affiliation: Where appropriate, Hyatt International hotels' restaurants, bars, and public spaces will be designed with Bang & Olufsen speakers and acoustic expertise, keeping the totality of the experience at the forefront. Additionally, all guestrooms in Park Hyatt Hotels will feature specially designed televisions, hi-fi equipment (including DVD/CD players), and an integrated system for the delivery of select in-house guest services, all of which will be designed specifically to complement the individual rooms. This will also apply to all Grand Hyatt suites.
"By combining the best possible sound and picture equipment with the hotels' sleek, sensual interiors, we hope to provide our guests with an interpretation of luxurious living more memorable than ever before," says Bernd Chorengel, president of Hyatt International Corporation. "Ideally, our aim is for guests to take this concept home to create their own optimum environment for day-to-day living."
"Traveling – for business or for pleasure – requires energy," explains Torben Ballegaard Sřrensen, president and CEO of Bang & Olufsen. "Being on the move, comfort and excellence will help you relax and recharge. Hyatt International Hotels are unique at conveying this to their guests, and combined with our goal to create surprising and long-lasting experiences for our customers, I believe that the cooperation between Hyatt International and Bang & Olufsen will enable both corporations to pursue their goals even more rigorously." |
