Christopher Norton has been promoted to the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Global Product and Operations, at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts based in Toronto. Norton was most recently serving as President, Hotel Operations - EMEA. The Lausanne graduate is the former General Manager and Regional Vice President for the Four Seasons George V and the Four Seasons Singapore.

Also at Four Seasons, Christopher Hunsberger will take on the role of Executive Vice President Human Resources, succeeding Nick Mutton, who is retiring later this year. Hunsberger has been with the company for over 30 years, most recently as Executive Vice President, Product and Innovation. The Cornell graduate was previously the General Manager at the Four Seasons Washington, D.C. and the former Four Seasons Aviara. He was promoted to Senior Vice President Operations, The Americas, in 2008.

Chris Hart moves to Toronto with his promotion to President, Hotel Operations – Americas, with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He has been with the company for over 30 years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, in Singapore. He is the former General Manager of the Four Seasons Scottsdale and the Four Seasons Toronto.

Michael Mathis has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM Springfield Development, replacing Bill Hornbuckle. Mathis was most recently serving MGM Hospitality as Vice President of Global Gaming Development.

Red Lion Hotels has named Greg Mount President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding James Evans. Mount is the former President of Richfield Hospitality, Sceptre Hospitality and Richfield Hospitality China.

Alliance Hospitality has named EJ Schanfarber President and Chief Executive Officer. He was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of Divi Resorts.

Philip Dailey has joined the SH Group (Starwood Capital's hotel division and its two brands, One and Baccarat) as Corporate Director of Operations. He is the former General Manager at Public Chicago, the Andaz West Hollywood, and the SLS at Beverly Hills. Dailey also opened the Shangri-La in Chiang Mai.

David Feder has joined the Trump Doral as General Manager, taking over from George Sotelo who joined the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Reserve in Puerto Rico. Feder was most recently overseeing the Fairmont Turnberry Resort and is the former General Manager of the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach.

Kari Koskela has been named General Manager at the Shangri-La Vancouver. He moves over from his current post as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Vancouver.

Paul Eckert has been named General Manager of Omni's newly acquired Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale. He comes from Omni's Amelia Island Plantation, where he held the same title since 2010. He is the former General Manager of the Omni Jacksonville.

Don Stamets takes over from Eckert as General Manager of the Omni Amelia Island Plantation. Stamets was most recently the General Manager of the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. He is the former Hotel Manager at the Resort at Pelican Hill.

Dieter Hissin takes over from Stamets as General Manager of the Island Hotel. Hissin previously spent 18 years at the Balboa Bay Club and Resort.

Dave Pease has been appointed General Manager of the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek. The Cornell graduate was most recently the General Manager of the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.

The Melrose Georgetown Hotel has appointed Jale Hashimi General Manager. She is the former General Manager of the Churchill Embassy Row Hotel and the Embassy Suites Dulles Airport.

Anneke Scholten has returned to the Dancing Bear in Aspen as General Manager. She had previously served the resort as opening General Manager. Scholten was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Little Nell.

Pat Engfer has been appointed Area Vice President and General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando. She was most recently the General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport.

Afsi Behnam-Bird has moved to the Hotel Teatro in Denver as General Manager. She was most recently overseeing the Oxford, also in Denver. Benham-Bird is the former General Manager of the Hotel Terra Jackson Hole and Director of Rooms at the former Four Seasons Aviara.

Jane Mackie has been appointed Vice President, Fairmont Brand, at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. She was most recently with Club Quarters as Staff Vice President, Revenue Planning.

Oscar Abel Rivero Estrada has been named General Manager at Las Alamandas in Mexico. Since 2002, he had served as General Manager at the Hotel Costa Club Punta Arena in Puerto Vallarta. He is the former Resident Manager of the Hotel Villa Vera Spa & Racquet Club in Acapulco.

Alistair Forrest has been appointed General Manager at Nisbet Plantation Beach Club in Nevis. Most recently, Forrest was the General Manager at Cobblers Cove in Barbados.

Jan Larsen has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Short Hills. Larsen was the General Manager of the Millenium Hilton in lower Manhattan for the last 10 years. He is also the former General Manager of the Hilton Newark Airport and the Hilton East Brunswick.

Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina has appointed Anura Dewapura Managing Director. He is the former General Manager of the Mount Lavinia Hotel Group.

Mark Anderson has been named opening General Manager for the Westin Cleveland Downtown, opening in May. Most recently, he was the General Manager of the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers.

Marriott Hotels has named Lisa Kershner Area General Manager, overseeing the Oakland Marriott City Center, the Courtyard Oakland Downtown and the Oakland Convention Center. She was most recently the General Manager for the Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa. Kershner is the former General Manager of the Renaissance San Francisco Stanford Court Hotel and Regional Vice President of Hotel Operations for Kimpton Hotels.

Philippe Frey takes over from Antonio Alvarez as General Manager at the Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. Frey is the former Hotel Manager for the Grand Hyatt Beijing.

The Loews Hollywood Hotel has appointed Brian Johnson General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort. He is the former General Manager of the Loews Lake Las Vegas and the Loews Ventana Canyon.

Gerald Rappaport has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Phillips in Kansas City. He was most recently the General Manager of the Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark in Lake Geneva and served as interim General Manager of the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. Rappaport is the former General Manager of the Hilton Milwaukee, the InterContinental Milwaukee and the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee.

Tom Mason has been appointed Managing Director of the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Wisconsin. He was most recently the Vice President of Operations for The Service Company. He is the former General Manager of the Hyatt Regency, the Hyatt Whitney and the Radisson Plaza Hotel, all located in Minneapolis.

Brett Sundstrom has been appointed General Manager of the Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City. He is the former General Manager at the Xona Resort & Suites in Scottsdale and the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.

Ben Shank has been named Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. He was most recently the Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Scottsdale.

Masato Kominami has been named Resident Manager at the Montage Beverly Hills. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager with the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco. He had previously overseen rooms for the Conrad Miami and the Regent South Beach.

Mark Sneen is now in San Francisco as Hotel Manager for the Palace Hotel. He is the former Resort Manager at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort.

The Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler has appointed Theresa Ginter Hotel Manager. She originally joined the Lodge in 2010 as Front Office Supervisor.

Wade Hashimoto has moved down the coast to the post of Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms Division, at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. He was most recently in a similar post with the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey and is the former Assistant Director of Rooms for the former Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas.

Matthew Vandegrift has joined the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas as Director of Hotel Operations. For the past thirteen years, he had held various positions with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts at the Four Seasons Atlanta, the Four Seasons Seychelles and the Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa.

Jeffrey Fugit has been named Director of Operations at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown. He is the former Director of Rooms at the Westin Orlando Universal Boulevard and Director of Operations at the Westin Pasadena.

Nate Waldron has been promoted to Director of Operations at the Heldrich. Since 2008, he had served the hotel as Director of Conference Services.

Chinan Tao has returned to Montage to take the post of Director of Residential Services for the Montage Deer Valley. He had previously served as Director of Rooms at the Montage Resort and Spa Laguna Beach, before taking on his most recent post as General Manager of the Via Tivoli Estate in Henderson.

Ashraf Tadros has moved to the Four Seasons The Biltmore Santa Barbara as Area Director of Finance. He was most recently Area Director of Finance based at the Four Seasons Doha.

Driftwood Hospitality Management has appointed Mark Odom Chief Financial Officer. He is the former Chief Financial Officer for the PGA National Resort & Spa.

Jann Kaiser has been promoted at the Four Seasons Chicago to Director of Food and Beverage. He joined the hotel in 2012 as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.

Tomas Vlasek returns to Four Seasons with his appointment to Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Baltimore. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Nevis and the Four Seasons Philadelphia, before moving to the Café Royal Hotel in London as Director of Food and Beverage.

Adam Cohen has returned to Aspen and joined the Hotel Jerome as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Director of Banquets for the Little Nell before moving into Director of Food and Beverage for the London West Hollywood and the Sofitel Los Angeles.

Pradeep Raman has returned to Beverly Hills to join the Montage Beverly Hills as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Peninsula Chicago and General Manager at the Avalon Hotel, Beverly Hills. He had most recently been the General Manager of Tom Collichio's Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton.

Markus Puereschitz has joined the Park Hyatt New York as opening Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He was most recently with the Park HyattChicago as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Grand Hyatt Dallas Fort Worth.

Omar Vega has joined the Loews Philadelphia as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently serving as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation. He had previously served in food and beverage posts for the Ritz-Carlton San Juan.

Jon Farace has moved over to the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island as Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had been in a similar post at the Ritz-Carlton Charlotte. He had previously served as Chef at the hotel in Charlotte as well as the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, the Ritz-Carlton Boston and the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta.

François Latapie has joined Bistro Bagatelle in New York as Director of Operations. He was most recently with the Maccioni Group as Director of Operations.

Bre Smith has joined the Beverly Hilton as Director of Restaurants. Smith was most recently in a similar role at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach Reserve and is the former Assistant General Manager at WP24 by Wolfgang Puck in the Ritz-Carlton at LA Live and Food and Beverage General Manager for the Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences Kapalua Bay.

Joseph Hodnette has replaced Cecilia Moore as Director of Human Resources at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago. He was previously the Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Four Seasons Hualalai.

Nicole La Valette takes over from Joe LaBreche as Director of Marketing for the Four Seasons Nevis, based in New York. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park and Director of Sales for the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, based in New York.

The St. Regis Princeville Resort has named Nathan Decker Director of Sales and Marketing. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Group Sales for the Maui metro market with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He had previously served in sales roles at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua and the former Park Hyatt Los Angeles.

Andrea Carneiro has joined the St. Regis Mexico City as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.

Benchmark Hospitality has appointed Suya Davenport to the new created position of Director of Leisure Sales for their Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels brand. Davenport was previously Director of Sales and Marketing for ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa and at the Naples Bay Resort.

Kris Kareti has been appointed Corporate Director of Sales Training, Americas, for Hyatt Hotels. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque.

Denise Perkins has joined the Furnace Creek Resort as Director of Sales and Marketing. She had previously overseen sales and catering for the Thunder Valley Casino Resort. Perkins had previously served in sales and marketing roles for the Hotel Park City and the Red Mountain Spa Resort & the Residences at Red Mountain.

Judy Cronkhite has returned as Director of Sales and Marketing to the Grand Hyatt San Francisco. She had previously held the same post from 1997 to 2000. For the past thirteen years, she had served as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco.

The Hyatt Regency San Francisco has appointed Stacey Edinger Director of Sales and Marketing, replacing Cronkhite. Edinger was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport. The Cornell graduate is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Parc 55 San Francisco, and the InterContinental Mark Hopkins.

David Friedberg has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale. He was most recently the Director of Sales for the Kalahari Resort in Ohio.

Alice Baumstark has joined Langham as Director of Group Sales - North America, based out of San Diego. For the past two years, she had been at the Bacara Resort and Spa as Director of National Accounts. She had previously served in sales positions with Preferred Hotels and Rockresorts.

Viceroy Hotels has appointed Pilar Rios Area Director of Sales and Marketing for the Viceroy Zihuatanejo and the Viceroy Riviera Maya. She was most recently with Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Mexico.

Jason Kycek has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Capella Marigot Bay formerly known as Discovery at Marigot Bay in St. Lucia. Kycek had previously served in sales positions with Villa del Palmar, Occidental Hotels and KSL Resorts.

Josh Herman has been named Marketing Director at La Quinta Resort & Club. He had previously served as Regional Director of Marketing for KSL Resorts.

Sonny Kerstiens has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa. He had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.

The Grand Traverse Resort and Spa has named Ryan Buck Director of Sales. Since 2011, he had been with the W Hotels of Chicago as Complex Director of Group Sales. He had previously served as Director of Sales and Events at the Renaissance Blackstone Hotel and Associate Director of Sales at the Swissôtel Chicago.

Gus Tejeda has been appointed Director of Resort Sales at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville. He was most recently the Vice President of Group Sales for Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. He is the former Executive Director of Convention Sales at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Las Vegas.

Cadence Travel Management has named Don Jones Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Jones had spent the past 25 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, most recently as Vice President of Sales.

Zan Miller has been appointed Director of Revenue Management at the Omni Grove Park Inn. He was most recently in a similar position with the Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston.

Sam Hazen has joined the Park Hyatt New York as Executive Chef. For the past three years, he had been Executive Chef and Partner at Veritas. He is the former Corporate Executive Chef for Tao and Todd English Enterprises.

Alejandro Mayer has been appointed Executive Chef at the Club Industrial Monterrey Mexico. Mayer is the former Sous Chef for the Four Seasons Hampshire and the Anassa in Cyprus. He had previously served as Resort Banquet Chef at the Four Seasons The Biltmore Santa Barbara.

The Omni Mount Washington Resort has appointed Laurent Géroli Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef of the Brown Hotel in Louisville.

Erin Smith has been appointed Executive Chef at JW Marriott Houston Downtown. She is the former Culinary Director for the Clumsy Butcher restaurant group.

Leonardo Ayala has joined his former boss, Ali Kasikci, at El Encanto as Executive Chef. He had served with Kasikci in the kitchens at the Hillcrest Country Club, the Montage Beverly Hills and the Peninsula Beverly Hills.

Maxime Kien has returned to Las Vegas as Assistant Executive Chef at Caesars. He was most recently in a similar post with the Ritz-Carlton Naples. Kien is the former Executive Sous Chef for the Waldorf Astoria New Orleans and had previously served as Chef de Cuisine at the Venetian Hotel and the Paris Hotel and Casino, both in Las Vegas.

The Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago has appointed Aya Fukai Executive Pastry Chef. She was most recently at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, overseeing the pastry program for Balsan and the now shuttered RIA.

Jay Schuster has moved to the Peninsula Chicago as Restaurant Manager for the Lobby Restaurant. He comes from a similar role at the Public Hotel Chicago. He is the former General Manager at Sepia and Nacional 27, both in Chicago.

The Four Seasons Punta Mita has promoted Ronny Fernandez to Director of Rooms. He joined the hotel in 2012 as Assistant Director of Rooms. Fernandez is the former Assistant Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Costa Rica and the Four Seasons Mexico City.

Billy Cueto has been promoted to Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Westlake Village. He joined the resort in 2011 and was most recently serving as Assistant Director of Rooms.

Lyle Tanaka has joined Shutters on the Beach as Director of Rooms. He was most recently the Front Office Manager at the Rosewood Sand Hill.

EUROPE

Vivek Badrinath has joined Accor as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He was most recently Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Orange.

Mauro Governato has moved to Rocco Forte's Hotel de Russie in Rome. He was most recently the General Manager at the Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon. Governato is the former Resort Manager at the (former) Four Seasons Terre Blanche. Prior to joining Four Seasons, he had been the General Manager of the One&Only Ocean Club and the One&Only Le Saint Géran.

Laetitia Elmaleh has joined the Hotel Pont Royal in Paris as General Manager. For the past four years, she had served as Director of the Alain Ducasse Cooking School. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Radisson Blu Ambassador Paris Opera and the Hotel Concorde Saint Lazare.

Sofia Vandaele is now in Paris as General Manager of the Concorde Opera. She was most recently overseeing the London New York. She is the former General Manager at the W Downtown New York, the W New York the Court and the W New York the Tuscany.

Sjefke Jansen has been named General Manager of the Grand Hotel Europe St. Petersburg, taking over from Leon Larkin. For the past four years, he had served as General Manager at Le Touessrok on Mauritius. He is the former General Manager at the Oberoi Mauritius and Resort Manager at the One&Only Maldives.

Knut Wylde has moved over to Claridges in London as Hotel Manager. For the past three years, he had served as Assistant General Manager at Coworth Park. He is the former opening Director of Operations for the St. Pancras Hotel London.

Ralf Stresing is the new General Manager of the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center, taking over from Sascha Konter. Stresing is the former opening General Manager for Le Méridien Bangkok.

Peter Egli has returned to Switzerland to manage, with his wife Esther, the Suvretta House in St. Moritz. Egli was most recently overseeing the Whatley Manor, near Wiltshire.

Gurval Durand takes over from Egli as General Manager at Whatley Manor. Since 2005, he had been the Deputy General Manager at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.

Reuben Mifsud has taken over from Roderick Micallef as General Manager of the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon. Mifsud was most recently the General Manager at the Marina Hotel Corinthia Beach Resort, Malta.

Jan-Willem Roenhorst has been named General Manager at the Bristol Hotel Odessa, Ukraine. He is the former Hotel Manager for the Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam, and the previous Resident Manager at Le Méridien Frankfurt.

Frank Ketterer has been named General Manager of the Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade taking over from Jürgen Gangl. Ketterer was previously the Hotel Manager at the Hotel Concorde Berlin.Torsten Schulze has moved to manage the soon-to-open Steigenberger Hotel Am Kanzleramt in Berlin. Since 2007, Schulze had served as General Manager at the nearby Steigenberger Hotel Berlin. He is the former Deputy Director at the Steigenberger Drei Mohren in Augsburg.

Gondra Wettley has taken over from Schulze at the Steigenberger Hotel Berlin. She is the former General Manager of the Steigenberger Esprix Hotel Halle, and the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci in Potsdam.

Norman Mark has been promoted to take over from Gondra Wettley as General Manager of the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci. He joined the hotel in 2012 as Executive Assistant Manager and is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Hôtel Concorde Berlin.

François-Xavier Schoeffer has joined the Café Royal Hotel in London as Director of Operations. He was most recently serving in a similar post at sister hotel, the Hotel Lutétia Paris. He had previously overseen front office operations for the Westin Paris and the Hotel InterContinental Paris.

Rezidor has appointed Thomas Engelhart Area Vice President Nordics, based in Stockholm. Most recently, he was the Interim Chief Consumer Business Officer at Klarna AB.

Floor Bleeker has been appointed Chief Information Officer at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in Switzerland. He is the former Vice President Business Solutions at the Jumeirah Group.

Hyatt Hotels has promoted Roberto Amodei to the position of Area Director of Finance for the United Kingdom & Ireland. Since 2008, he served as Director of Finance at the Hyatt Regency London-The Churchill. Amodei previously held senior finance roles with Armani Hotels & Resorts, The Dorchester and Baglioni Hotels Group.

Annabelle Gamelin has joined La Réserve Avenue Gabriel in Paris as Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past two years, she had been with the Shangri-La Paris, most recently as Director of Sales. She is the former Director of Sales for the Westbury Mayfair Hotel in London.

Isabelle Bouvier-Rosski has moved to the Peninsula Paris as Director of Marketing. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Grand Hotel InterContinental Paris. She is the former Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Starwood Hotels Paris.

Matthew Rowlette has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London. For the past four years, he had been the Director of Sales at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin.

Philip Morris has been appointed Corporate Director of Revenue Management at the Dorchester Collection in London. He was most recently with the Waldorf=Astoria & Towers, as Director of Revenue Management.

At the Four Seasons George V, Francisco Garcia moves up to Director of Rooms, replacing Mélanie Baum. Garcia had joined the hotel in 2007 as Director of Revenue and was most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Albert Cheong has been named Group General Manager of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. He was most recently the Area General Manager for the Landmark Lancaster Hotel Group.

Gregory Djerejian has been named Executive Vice President Asia at Baha Mar based in Hong Kong. He is the former Managing Director, Head of Asia-Pacific for TradeInvest.

Matt Bailey has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Aston Hotels & Resorts in Honolulu. For the past six years, he had served as Managing Director at the Grand Wailea.

Garth Solly has been named Group General Manager overseeing the Kauri Cliffs, Cape Kidnappers and Matakauri Lodge in New Zealand. He is the former General Manager at the Holiday Inn Pattaya.

Hakan Ozel has been named General Manager for the Shangri-La Tianjin. He was most recently the Resident Manager for the Shangri-La Beijing. He is the former Resident Manager at the Shangri-La Jakarta.

Ulf Bremer has been appointed General Manager of the Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong. He is the former General Manager at the Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai and the Shangri-La Far Eastern Plaza Hotel Taipei.

Janis Clapoff has been named Managing Director at Lumeria Maui. Clapoff is the former General Manager at the Halekulani, and the Ojai Valley Resort & Spa.

Cliff Weiner is the new General Manager at the Shangri-La Traders Hotel, Singapore. He was most recently the Resident Manager for the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Singapore and the Atlantis The Palm Jumeirah.

John Rolfs has returned to Japan to take over from Mark Lettenbichler (now the President of Regent Hotels) as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo. Rolfs had previously served as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Osaka from 1996-2000. He is the former General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Portman Shanghai and the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Antonio Alvarez has been named General Manager at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. He was most recently the General Manager at the Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. He is the former General Manager at the Park Hyatt Mendoza Hotel, Casino & Spa.

Jens Wycisk has been named General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel Shenyang. He was most recently overseeing the Kempinski Ulaanbaatar as General Manager.

Franck Lafourcade has returned as General Manager to the Sofitel Legend Métropole Hanoi. He had previously managed the property from 2000 to 2005, before leaving to spend almost nine years in China, including serving as General Manager for the Sofitel Hyland in Shanghai.

Markus Schneider has been appointed General Manager at the Mövenpick Hotel Saigon. He is the former Resident Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta.

Denis Thouvard has been appointed General Manager of the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket. He is the former General Manager at the Centara Grand Beach Resort in Phuket.

Dorian Rommel has been appointed General Manager at the Shangri-La Dalian. He was most recently the General Manager at the Kempinski Hotel, Yinchuan.

Kanit Sangmookda has been appointed General Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Sandakan in Malaysia. He is the former Director of Revenue Management at the Westin Kuala Lumpur.

Pearl Peng has returned to the Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall to take the post of General Manager. She had previously served the hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing before taking on the position of General Manager at the Imperial Mansion Beijing Marriott Executive Apartments in 2011.

Markus Krebs has joined the Anantara Rasanada in Thailand as General Manager. For the past two years, he had served as Hotel Manager with the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Fairmont Orchid, the former Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills, and the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City.

Laucala Island in Fiji has named Andrew Thomson General Manager. Thomson was most recently the Director of Operations and Managing Director for Amanresorts.

Philipp Frickhinger has been promoted to General Manager at the Sukosol in Bangkok. He joined the hotel in August as Resident Manager.

Ian Alexandre is the new General Manager at the Conrad Beijing. He had previously overseen the Mulia Resort Bali, the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney and the Sofitel Wanda Beijing.

Julian Wipper has been appointed Resident Manager at the Futian Shangri-La in Shenzhen. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage for the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong and the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur.

Mark Burson has been named Resort Manager for the Aqua Kaua'i Beach Resort. He was most recently at the Embassy Suites Montgomery in Alabama as Assistant General Manager.

Conny Andersson has joined Six Senses Resorts as Corporate Director of Culinary. He had previously spent over a dozen years as Executive Chef with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts before leaving to start his own restaurant in Venice, California. Andersson then went on to oversee the kitchens at Sandy Lane, the Datai Langkawi and, most recently, the MGM Grand Ho Tram.

Hanno Barkhoff has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Tokyo. Barkhoff was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at Shangri-La's Villingili Resort & Spa Maldives. He had previously overseen food and beverage at the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, the Capella Düsseldorf and the Lowell Hotel in New York.

Neil Shorthouse has been appointed Director of Human Resources at Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Spas in Bangkok. He is the former Director of Human Resources at Soneva Fushi in the Maldives.

Marsha Morton has been named Director of Sales and Marketing, U.S. & Canada, for The Brando scheduled to open in July. She most recently held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing, North America, for the InterContinental Resorts of French Polynesia (formerly Southern Pacific Hotels). Morton joins General Manager Silvio Bion who had previously managed the InterContinental Resort & Thalasso Spa Bora Bora.

Rex Loh has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Singapore. He was most recently overseeing sales at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

The Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i has appointed Lori Holland Director of Public Relations. She was most recently the Executive Director, Public Relations for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

Luca Cesarini has been appointed Executive Chef at the Jumeirah Vittaveli in the Maldives. He is the former Executive Sous Chef of the Sukhothai Hotel Bangkok and the Pelican Hill Resort.

David Emig has been named Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Maldives. He is the former Director of Residence at the Four Seasons Pudong.

Brent Graef has been named Director of Rooms in Hawaii at the Fairmont Orchid. He was most recently the Director of Front Office for the Fairmont Scottsdale.

Magali Navarro has joined the Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai as Restaurant Manager at Jade on 36 Restaurant. She is the former Assistant Restaurant Manager at L'Atelier Restaurant de Joël Robuchon at Resorts World, Singapore.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Christian Clerc has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Hotel Operations, EMEA with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts based in Dubai. Clerc has been with the company since 2000, most recently serving as Regional Vice President and General Manager at the Four Seasons George V. The Lausanne graduate is the former General Manager of the Four Seasons Washington, D.C. and the Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Rotana Hotel Management has promoted Omer Kaddouri to President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Co-Founder Selim El Zyr, who will continue to serve in an advisory role as the vice chairman of the board. Kaddouri is the former Area Vice President.

Mahmoud El Keiy has been promoted to General Manager at the Four Seasons Cairo at The First Residence, taking over from Randy Shimabuku. He is the former Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stefano and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Four Seasons at Nile Plaza.

The Four Seasons Dubai has named Richard Raab Hotel Manager. He was most recently in the same position for the Four Seasons Lion Palace St. Petersburg. He is the former Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Nevis.

Markus Iseli has been named General Manager of the Chedi Muscat, replacing York Brandes. Iseli most recently managed the opening of the Palazzo Parigi in Milan. He is the former General Manager of the Four Seasons Seychelles and the Four Seasons Damascus.

Andreas Jersabeck has been appointed General Manager at the Conrad Dubai. He was most recently overseeing the Hilton Doha.

Adham El Sebaey succeeds Jersabeck as General Manager at the Hilton Doha. El Sebaey is the former General Manager of the Hilton Curacao and the Hilton Barbados.

Jacques Claudel has been appointed General Manager at the Hilton Al Ain. He was most recently the General Manager to the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa.

Raouf Benchedli has moved as General Manager to the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa, taking over from Claudel. Benchedli was most recently the General Manager of the nearby DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah.

Antoine Joignant has moved into the position of Area Manager Central Asia, Pakistan & Iraq, taking over the post of General Manager for the Sheraton Dohuk Hotel in Iraq. He was most recently the Area Manager, Pakistan and General Manager for the Sheraton Karachi Hotel.

Fathi Khogaly has been appointed General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Dubai & Galleria. He was most recently the Hotel Manager for the Grand Hyatt Dubai.

The Kempinski Hotel Badamdar Baku has named Kai Behrens General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hotel Bristol Sarajevo and former Resident Manager for the Kempinski Hotel Zografski Sofia.

Paul Jordaan has been appointed Resort Manager at the Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman. He is a former Regional General Manager with Amanresorts and Hotel Manager at Point Grace on Turks and Caicos.

Lizzie Baxter has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager at the Six Senses Zighy Bay. She is the former Executive Assistant Manager at the Six Senses Con Dao.

Florence Zwicky has transferred as Director of Food and Beverage to the Four Seasons Dubai. She was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Istanbul at the Bosphorus. The Lausanne graduate has been with the company since 2003, serving in food and beverage posts with the Ritz-Carlton Chicago, the Four Seasons The Biltmore Santa Barbara, and the Beverly Wilshire.

Celian Skandrani has joined the Raffles Istanbul as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had overseen food and beverage at Raffles Singapore.

Chelan Goonetilleke has been named Senior Director of Marketing for the Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. He was most recently overseeing marketing for the Four Seasons Seychelles and the Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita.

Christina Purba takes over from Goonetilleke as Senior Director of Marketing for both the Four Seasons Seychelles and the Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita. Purba was most recently serving with Four Seasons as Director of Marketing for the Resorts of Thailand. She had previously served as Director of Sales before moving into the Director of Marketing position with the Four Seasons Koh Samui.

Asser Samy has returned to the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai to take on the post of Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously served the hotel as Director of Sales.

Yasmine Elgawhary has moved as Director of Rooms to the Four Seasons Dubai. She was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza.

Mélanie Baum has moved as Director of Rooms to the Four Seasons Westcliff Johannesburg. She was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Georges V.

Ekrem Koroglu has joined the Four Seasons Istanbul at the Bosphorus as Director of Rooms. He was most recently the Director of Rooms at the nearby Grand Tarabya Hotel. He is the former Assistant Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Philadelphia.
