THE AMERICASStarwood Hotels & Resorts has appointed
Anthony InghamVice President, North America Brand Management overseeing
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, the
Luxury Collection,
W Hotels Worldwide and
Le Méridien. He was most recently in a similar role for the company with the brands for the European, African and Middle Eastern (EAME) markets.
Doug Watson has joined the newly revived (and yet-to-open)
Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage as General Manager. He was most recently serving the company as Area Vice President Western Region.
Scott Koster has been promoted with
Commune Hotels in New York to Area Managing Director. For the past two years, he had been the General Manager at
Gild Hall for
Thompson Hotels (A former component of Commune). Koster had previously served a short stint as General Manager for the
Gramercy Park Hotel and is a former
Director of Operations with the
Plaza.
Edward Shapard is now in Utah as General Manager for the
St. Regis Deer Valley. He was most recently overseeing the
Elbow Beach Bermuda. He is the former Hotel Manager of the
Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, and the
Mandarin Oriental New York. At Deer Valley, Shapard takes over from
Stan Kaminski.
Shawn Jervis is now in Washington, D.C. as General Manager of the
Embassy Row. He was most recently in Rancho Palos Verdes at
Destination sister property
Terranea. Jervis is also a former Director of Food and Beverage from the
MGM Grand Las Vegas.
The
Hacienda Beach Club & Residences in Cabo San Lucas has named
Jorge Luis Moran General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager at the
Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa and is the former Executive Assistant Manager at the
Presidente InterContinental Mexico City. Moran also spent five years as Director of Food and Beverage at
Esperanza.
Sean Verney has been named General Manager of the
Westin New York at Times Square. Verney was previously the General Manager of the
Sheraton Parsippany.
Mark Sherburne has been appointed General Manager at the
Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill. He was most recently the General Manager at the
aloft Chapel Hill.
Randall McMichael has been appointed General Manager at the
Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens in Georgia. He was most recently the General Manager at the
Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort.
Martin Kipping has moved to the
Viceroy Zihuatanejo as General Manager. He was most recently with the
Viceroy Anguilla as Resort Manager.
Jay Rocha has been named General Manager at the
Cheyenne Mountain Resort. He is the former General Manager at the
Reunion Resort Orlando, the
Richardson Hotel and the
Inverness Hotel and Conference Center. At Cheyenne, he takes over for
Todd Felsen who was recently promoted to Vice President Operations for
Benchmark Hospitality.
Tom Scaramellino has been appointed General Manager at the
Westin and
Aloft San Francisco Airport hotels. He is the former Hotel Manager of the
Palace Hotel in San Francisco and the
US Grant in San Diego.
Michael Welly has been named General Manager at the
Eaglewood Resort & Spa. He was previously the General Manager of the
Longboat Key Club and Resort in Sarasota.
The
Boston Harbor Hotel has named
Stephen Johnston Managing Director. He was most recently in Washington, D.C. with the
Fairfax at Embassy Row, a Luxury Collection Hotel as General Manager.
Keith Spinden has been appointed General Manager at the
Hyatt Regency Indianapolis. He was most recently the General Manager of the
Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center Hotel. Spinden had previously overseen food and beverage for the
Hyatt Regency Chicago and the
Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa.
Patrick Freeman has been appointed President of
Cisneros Real Estate in Miami. He is the former developer for
Auberge Resorts.
John Garland has been named Vice President of Finance at the
Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance at the
Gaylord Texan.
Seema Parthasarathy has joined the
Carlyle Hotel as Director of Food and Beverage. She is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the
Four Seasons San Francisco.
Andy Kalikas has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the
Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain. He was most recently serving the resort as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. Kalikas is the former Director of Banquets at the (former)
Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt.
Philip Spee has been promoted to Director of Operations-Restaurants with
SBE Entertainment. He was most recently overseeing food and beverage for the
SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. Spee is also the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the
Hotel Bel-Air and the
Beverly Hills Hotel.
Jun Sur has been promoted at the
Terranea Resort to
Director of Food and Beverage . Sur was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage after joining the resort in 2009 as Director of Banquets. He had previously served in food and beverage posts with the
Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, the
Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa and the
Westin Maui Resort and Spa.
Joseph Fisher has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the
Waldorf Astoria Park City. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager at sister property, the
Conrad Miami.
Bosther Kusich has been promoted to Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage and joined the
Ritz-Carlton Phoenix. Kusich was most recently Assistant Director of Food and Beverage for the
Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.
Martin Diehr is now overseeing food and beverage at the
Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in Florida. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at the
Ritz-Carlton Abama.
Jerry Parquette has been named Food and Beverage Director of the
B Resort, located in the
Walt Disney World Resort, scheduled to debut early 2014. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the
DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld Resort.
Raj Mohan has joined the
Fairmont Waterfront, Vancouver as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former
Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at the
Ritz-Carlton Aruba.
Anne Titlebaum has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the
Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. She was most recently serving the resort as Director of Restaurants.
Waterstone Resort & Marina, the former

John Kingston has been appointed Director of Human Resources at the
Villas of Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando. He is the former Director of Human Resources for the
JW Marriott Grande Lakes Resort and the
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville.
Karin Timpone has joined
Marriott International in Washington, D.C. as Global Marketing Officer. She was most recently Senior Vice President, Product Strategy and Marketing, for
Disney ABC Digital Media.

Viceroy Hotel Group has appointed
Kristie Goshow to the newly created role of Senior Vice President-Commercial. For the past three years, she had been with
Sabre Hospitality Solutions as Vice President, Marketing.
Scott Pusillo has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management at the
Viceroy Hotel Group. He joined the company last year as Assistant Vice President of Revenue Management.
Omni Hotels & Resorts has named
Gretta Brooks Corporate Director, Global Sales, based in Dallas. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center.
Destination Hotels & Resorts has appointed
Ed Simon Vice President of Sales. He was most recently Regional Vice President of Sales with
Associated Luxury Hotels International in Washington D.C.
Benchmark Hospitality has appointed
John MacMullen Area Director of Sales and Marketing, based in Miami. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Viceroy Miami.
Gemma Keating has moved over to the
Knickerbocker in New York as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Chatwal New York. Keating had previously served in sales positions with the
Waldorf=Astoria and Towers and the
Stillorgan Park Hotel, Dublin.
Joaquin Cruz has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at
San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. For the past three years, he had served as Director of Sales and Marketing of the
JW Marriott Cancún Resort & Spa and
CasaMagna MarriottCancún Resort.
Jamie Jordan has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. Most recently, Jordan served as Director of Group Sales at the
Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale.
Yogini Geria is the new Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Hotel Chandler in New York. Geria had previously served in sales and marketing roles with
Amsterdam Hospitality, the

Dan Maurer has moved across town as Director of Sales and Marketing to the
Marriott Minneapolis West. He was most recently in the same position for the
Minneapolis Marriott Northwest. Maurer had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West.
Bahia Husband has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at
W Retreat & Spa, Vieques Island. She is the former Director of Sales at the
Westin St. John Resort & Villas and Director of Group Sales with the
Westin Roco Ki Resort. At the W Vieques, she takes over from
Virgil Napier who has joined the
Rosewood Baha Mar project.
Domingo Velasco has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Mark in New York. He is the former Area Director of Sales and Marketing for

Heidi Scartozzi Director of Sales. She was most recently the Regional Director of Sales for
JQH Hotels and Resorts.
Robin Feiger has joined
Sixty Hotels as Director of Global Sales. She is the former Director of Global Sales with
Thompson Hotels and
Morgans Hotel Group.
Kimpton's Surfcomber Miami, South Beach has appointed
Lillian Rojas Director of Special Events. She is the former Food and Beverage Manager at
SLS Hotels in Miami Beach and Director of Catering and Conference Services at the
Shore Club Hotel.
Diego Oka has been named Executive Chef at
La Mar by Gaston Acurio in the
Mandarin Oriental Miami. Most recently, Oka worked at
La Mar Cebicheria in San Francisco. Throughout his 13 years working alongside chef Gaston Acurio, Oka has also worked at La Mar locations in Peru and Colombia, among other countries.

Hotel Monaco Philadelphia as Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef for the
Andaz West Hollywood and the
SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills.
Fabio Boschero has been appointed Executive Chef at the
Hilton São Paulo Morumbi. He is the former Executive Chef at the
HiltonCuraçao.
Kirsten Ponza has been promoted to Executive Chef at
Chaminade Resort & Spa in Santa Cruz. She was most recently serving as Executive Sous Chef for the resort.
The
Waterstone Resort & Marina has appointed
Steven Zobel Executive Chef. He was most recently the opening Executive Chef for
d.b.a./café in Miami. Zobel is the former Executive Chef for the
Atlantic Resort & Spa and the
Triomphe Restaurant at the
Iroquois Hotel in New York.
Estelle Lacroix has moved to the
Hotel Bel-Air as Assistant Food and Beverage Director. She was most recently with sister hotel, the
Beverly Hills Hotel as General Manager of the
Polo Lounge. Lacroix had previously been with
Per Se in New York. She is the former General Manager of
Ducca in the
Westin San Francisco and
Myth Restaurant in San Francisco.
Matthew Swinford has joined
Ocean House in Rhode Island as Director of Restaurants. He was most recently overseeing
Topper's at the
White Barn Inn in Nantucket. He is the former Restaurant Manager at the
Inn at Dos Brisas.
Christopher Jones has been named Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the
Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch. For the past year, he had served as Director of Restaurants for the
Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas.
Ludovic Poirier has joined the
Mokara Hotel and Spa in San Antonio as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the
Inn at Dos Brisas.

Mission Inn Hotel & Spa has named
Alexander del Rosario Director of Rooms. He was most recently the Director of Rooms for the
Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica.
EUROPE Philippe Gombert is the new International President of
Relais & Chateaux, taking over from
Jaume Tapies who held the post for eight years. Gombert is the owner of
Chateau de la Treyne in the Dordogne.
The
Dorchester Collection has appointed
Luca Virgilio General Manager at the
Hotel Eden, Rome. Virgilio was most recently Area General Manager for the
Baglioni Hotel London and the
Regina Hotel Baglioni Rome.
Tim Flodin has been appointed General Manager for the
Andaz Liverpool Street London. He was most recently the General Manager with the
Hyatt Regency Birmingham. Flodin is the former General Manager of the
Hyatt Westlake Plaza and the
Hyatt West Hollywood.
Hilary Cross has been named General Manager at the
Dorsett Shepherds Bush in London. She was most recently General Manager for the
K West Hotel & Spa, London.
The
Sofitel Warsaw Victoria has appointed
Patrick Carabin General Manager. For the past six years, he had been overseeing the
Sofitel Grand Sopot.
Vincent Pimont will be joining the
Peninsula Paris shortly as Hotel Manager. He is currently the Resident Manager of the
Peninsula Beijing. Pimont is the former Executive Assistant Manager Rooms at the
InterContinentalThalasso Spa in Bora Bora.
Perrine Chapelain has been appointed Director of Sales MICE - UK at
Orient-Express Hotels in London. For the past three years, she had been in a similar position in London with the
Leading Hotels of the World.
Phillip Haller has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer at
yoo Hotels in London. He was most recently with
Salvatore Ferragamo's
Lungarno Collection as Vice President of Marketing and Brand Development.
Filippo La Mantia has been appointed Executive Chef at the
Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto in Rome. He was previously running his namesake restaurant in the
Hotel Majestic Roma. Marc Schultz is the new Executive Chef at the
Jumeirah Frankfurt, replacing
Martin Steiner who is opening his own restaurant.
ASIA AND THE PACIFIC Nick Simmonds has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at
Sunland Hotels in the Maldives. Most recently, Simmonds was Vice President of
Chris Blackwell's
Island Outpost collection of hotels in Jamaica. He is the former General Manager of
Cotton House in Mustique.
The
Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels has appointed
Alan Philip Clark Chief Financial Officer. He was most recently with
Rocco Forte Hotels as Group Finance Director. He is the former Group Finance Director with
Malmaison and Deputy Vice President of Finance for Europe with
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts.
Regent Hotels and Resorts has named
Arjan de Boer Senior Vice President of Development and Technical Services. For the past eleven years, he had been with
Alila Hotels and Resorts, most recently as Vice President of Development.
Rudolf van Dijk is the new General Manager at
Four Seasons Sydney. He was most recently overseeing the
Four Seasons Hangzhou. Van Dijk is the former Hotel Manager of the
Four Seasons Singapore and the
Four Seasons Bangkok.
Patrick Behrens is moving to the
Peninsula Beijing as Resident Manager, taking over from
Vincent Pimont, who will be going, as Resident Manager, to the
Peninsula Paris. Behrens was most recently overseeing food and beverage for the
Peninsula Shanghai. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the
Peninsula Bangkok and the
Peninsula Beijing.
Vincent Billiard is now in China at the
Ritz-Carlton Tianjin as General Manager. He is the former Hotel Manager for the
Ritz-Carlton Tokyo and Director of Operations with the
Ritz-Carlton Osaka.
Ian Ekers has been named General Manager for the
Sukhothai Bangkok, taking over from
Gregory Meadows. He was most recently the General Manager of the
Sentosa in Singapore.
Christophe Lajus has moved to the
InterContinental Shanghai Expo as General Manager and Area General Manager for
IHG. He was previously the General Manager for the
Crowne Plaza Fudan Shanghai and Area General Manager for
Crowne Plaza Hotels in Shanghai.
Peter Clarke has returned to the
Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai to take on the post of General Manager. He had previously served the hotel as Hotel Manager for two years before taking on his most recent role as General Manager of sister property, the
Kerry Hotel Pudong.
Chris Oakes has been appointed General Manager at the
Indigo Pearl in Phuket. He is the former Managing Director of
Petchey Leisure and had served with
Six Senses Resorts and Spas from 2004 to 2012.
Alasdair Davidson has been appointed Hotel Manager at the
Alila Ubud in Bali. He was most recently with the
Alila Diwa Goa as Executive Assistant Manager.
Heinrich Grafe has been named General Manager of the
Conrad Tokyo succeeding
Gregor Andréewitch who is the new General Manager of the
Waldorf Astoria Berlin. Since 1998, Grafe had served as General Manager of the
Conrad Centennial Singapore.
Alice Mafaity has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager at the
Jumeirah Himalayas Shanghai. She was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the
Mina A'Salam, Madinat Jumeirah Dubai.
Thomas Combescot-Lepère has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the
Mandarin Oriental Tokyo after joining the hotel earlier this year as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Food and Beverage Manager at the
Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong and General Manager of
Adour Alain Ducasse at the
St. Regis New York.
The Hilton Waikoloa Village has named
Simon Amos Director of Food and Beverage. For the past five years, he had been the Director of Operations for the
Hilton Beijing.
Marieke Chataigner has been appointed Director of Business Development South Pacific at
Hilton Hotels and Resorts in Auckland. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for
Sofitel in New Zealand.
Alan Ball has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Six Senses Laamu in the Maldives. He had previously served in sales positions with
Per AQUUM Retreats & Resorts and
Abercrombie & Kent.
The
Bagan Lodge in Myanmar has appointed
Christine Béland Director of Sales and Marketing. Béland was most recently the Sales and Marketing Manager at the
Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa in Siem Reap.
Lillian Tan has been appointed Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing
Starwood's Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort and
Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran. She will oversee the opening in the coming years of the
Westin Ubud Resort & Spa and the
Sarasvati. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Westin Beijing Financial Street.
Neo Ping Peng has been appointed Director of Sales at the
Swissôtel Merchant Court in Singapore. She was most recently the Director of Sales at the
Mövenpick Sentosa, Singapore.
Jane-Thérèse Mulry has been appointed Executive Chef at the
Siam. Mulry was most recently Consulting Executive Chef with the
Wilderness Collection in Africa and is the former Executive Chef for
qualia on Hamilton Island, where she had worked under Siam General Manager
Jason Friedman. She is a former protégée of
Marco-Pierre White.
Tobias Pfister has been appointed as Executive Chef for the
Jumeirah Himalayas, Shanghai. He previously held the position of Executive Sous Chef at the
Burj Al Arab.
MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA Banu Kirmaz has been promoted to General Manager at the
Istanbul EDITION. She has previously held the positions of Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources at the hotel. She is the former Director of Finance at the
Ritz-Carlton Istanbul.
Fares Yactine has been appointed General Manager at the
Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche in Saudi Arabia. He was most recently with the
Sofitel Thalassa Sea and Spa in Bahrain where he held the position of Hotel Manager for over two years.
Enad Tannous has been named General Manager at the
Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach in Dubai. He was most recently with the
InterContinental Aqaba Resort as General Manager.
Iain McCormack has been named General Manager at the
Maradiva Villas Resort and Spa in Mauritius. He was most recently the General Manager at the
Gili Lankanfushi (formerly
Soneva Gili). McCormack is the former General Manager of the
Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island Jamaica and Director of Resort Operations at
Cap Juluca on Anguilla.
Olivier de Guardia de Ponte has been named Executive Assistant Manager at the
Constance Belle Mare Plage on Mauritius. He was most recently the Resort Manager for
Constance Hotels and Resorts, Tsarabanjina.
Ruben Gabino has joined the
Jumeirah Al Qasr as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously held the position of Director of Food and Beverage at the
St. Regis Abu Dhabi.
Peter Avram has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage at the
Madinat Jumeirah Resort. He had previously held the position of Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage at the
Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.
Goran Stojkovic takes over the position of
Peter Avram as Director of Food and Beverage at the
Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai. Goran joined Jumeirah in 2006.
Jérôme Barbeau takes over from
Alice Mafaity as Director of Food and Beverage at the
Mina A'Salam, Dubai. Barbeau has been with Jumeirah for the past eight years and had previously served as Food and Beverage Manager at the
Burj Al Arab.
Eric Vasta has been promoted to Executive Chef at the
Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai. He was most recently with the hotel as Executive Sous Chef.
Stéphane Chevet has joined
Reign Base in Abu Dhabi as Executive Chef. He was previously the Corporate Executive Chef at the
Sugar Factory in Las Vegas. He is the former Executive Chef at
Shibuya Restaurant in the
MGM Grand Las Vegas and Executive Sous Chef with the
Hotel Sofitel Los Angeles.
Claudio Melis joined the
Jumeirah Group as Executive Italian Chef. Melis is the former Executive Chef at
Jumby Bay in Antigua.
The
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray has appointed
Wolfgang Wagenleitner Executive Pastry Chef. He was previously in a similar role at the
Ritz-Carlton Qatar.
Florian Maul moved to Dubai as the Pastry Chef de Partie for the
Burj Al Arab. He was most recently with the
