THE AMERICAS 

James Carroll has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Crestline Hotels & Resorts and Barcelo Crestline Corporation. He was most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer for Crestline Hotels & Resorts and, before that, was the Chief Financial Officer for Barcelo Crestline. He had joined the company in 2004 from Dell, Inc.

Bill Simpson Jr. has been promoted to President of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts adding to his current duty as Chief Operating Officer. He joined the company fourteen years ago as General Manager of the Hershey Lodge and was most recently Executive Vice President of the company.

Dennis Nau has joined Diamond Resorts International in Las Vegas as Senior Vice President - North America and Caribbean Resorts. He was most recently with Norwegian Cruise Lines as Senior Vice President Global Hotel Operations and had previously spent over 23 years with Marriott International in various leadership roles.

The Hyatt Regency Guam has named Jan-Hendrik Meidinger General Manager. He was most recently serving as Resident Manager at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.

Michael Platt has transferred to the Hilton Long Beach and Convention Center as General Manager. He was most recently serving as General Manager of the El San Juan Hotel and Casino. Platt is also a former Executive Assistant Manager of the New York Hilton & Towers.

Carl Emberson has joined the St. Regis Punta Mita as General Manager, replacing Jean Pierre Sorin who had opened the hotel. For the past three years, Emberson was the General Manager for the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo. He had previously served as General Manager for the Park Hyatt Mendoza, and overseen food and beverage at the Hyatt Regency Acapulco.

The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek has appointed Robert Purdy General Manager. He most recently headed the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center and had previously served as Resident Manager of the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
 
The Hyatt Regency Chicago has promoted Patrick Donelly to General Manager. He was most recently the Resident Manager for the hotel and has worked for Hyatt since 1986.

Tony Bowen has joined Elite Island Resorts as Regional Managing Director. He is a former Managing Director of the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort & Spa.

Jerome Luciani has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Villahermosa & Conference Center. Since 2004, he had served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort.

Deborah (McCluskey) Lunn has been appointed General Manager of New York's Sanctuary Hotel in Times Square. She had previously served as General Manager for Kimpton's Ink48 Hotel, the Empire Hotel, and the W New York – the Court & Tuscany. 

Dolce Hotels and Resorts has named Stephen Bello Corporate Director of Operations and is currently serving as Acting General Manager of Lake Las Vegas Resort scheduled to open in February. He was most recently the General Manager for the Lakeway Resort and Spa on Lake Travis in Austin. 
 
Cornell graduate Glennon Travis has been named West Side Operations Manager at Amsterdam Hospitality. He was most recently the General Manager at the Gershwin Hotel. He is a former Hotel Operations Manager at BD Hotels in New York.

Colman Conneely has joined the Davidson Hotel Company as General Manager of the Marriott Teaneck at Glenpointe Hotel.  For the past five years, he had been serving as Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Hilton Charlotte Center City. He had previously served the same position with the Sheraton Gateway and the Crowne Plaza San Francisco.

Stephan Coudon is the new General Manager of the Presidente InterContinental Ixtapa. He was most recently running the Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort and Spa as Resort Manager.

Dan McGowan has been named General Manager of the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary. He has been with the company since 1992, joining at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and was most recently the General Manager of the Fairmont Vancouver Airport.
  
Michael Pye has been promoted to General Manager joining the Fairmont Winnipeg. He was most recently the Director of Operations at the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda.
 
Atif Youssef is the new General Manager of the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York. He had previously served as General Manager at the Empire Hotel and as Hotel Manager at the Hudson in New York City.

Moby Ahmed has joined Richfield Hospitality as Senior Vice President of Operations. He was most recently the Executive Vice President at the Ambient Hotel Group. He had previously served in management positions with Wyndham International, and Starwood.

Elizabeth Mao has moved as General Manager to the Paramount in New York, taking over from Geoffrey Mills now VP at Yotel. Mao was most recently the General Manager for the Smyth Tribeca.

Alistair Maclean has moved as General Manager to Thompson's Smyth – Tribeca, taking over for Elizabeth Mao. He was most recently in the same position for their Thompson Lower East Side. Maclean is also a former General Manager of the NoMad.

Dan Bergmann has taken the post of General Manager at the Hotel Phillips in Kansas City. He was most recently the General Manager for the Postcard Inn on the Beach in Florida. He is also a former General Manager of the Paramount.

Don Fraser has been appointed General Manager at the Royal Palm Hotel South Beach. He is a former General Manager for the Affinia Dumont and the Hilton Newark Penn Station.

Marco Franck is now in the Turks and Caicos as General Manager at Amanyara. He was most recently the Resident Manager in the Seychelles for the Ephelia Resort. Franck is a former Resident Manager of the Athenaeum InterContinental, and Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage of the Shangri-La Singapore and the Westin Kuala Lumpur.

Barbara Readey has been named General Manager for the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. She is the former General Manager of the Denver Marriott Tech Center and the Renaissance St. Louis.

Davide Barnes has joined the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills as Hotel Manager. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Austin as Hotel Manager. He had previously served with the Four Seasons Philadelphia as Hotel Manager, and the Four Seasons Prague as General Manager. In Beverly Hills, he replaces Avi Haksar who has transferred to the Four Seasons Bangkok.

Rita Healy has transferred as Hotel Manager to the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda. She was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle.

Paul Daly has been named Resident Manager for the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Daly comes to the Hyatt Regency Chicago from a position as Vice President of Food and Beverage for Hyatt Hotels.

Joe Pagone has joined the Palomar Chicago as Assistant General Manager. He was most recently with the Hotel Allegro in Chicago as Director of Rooms.

Dolce Hotels and Resorts has appointed Wayne Carney to the new position of Vice President, Property Finance. He was most recently the Regional Senior Director of Finance and Accounting for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

Dolce Hotels and Resorts has named Michael Botha Area Director of Revenue Management. He was previously Director of Revenue Management for the Hotel Viking in Newport, R.I., and served as Revenue Manager for both the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa and the Courtyard Providence Warwick.

Angela Moore has moved back to Texas to join the Four Seasons Houston as Director of Food and Beverage. She joined the company in 1998 as Banquet Captain at the Four Seasons Austin and had served in food and beverage positions at the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons Sydney, the Four Seasons Dublin and, most recently, the Four Seasons Istanbul at Sultanahmet.

Diego Weiss is now in Los Cabos with Auberge Resorts at Esperanza as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served in food and beverage management positions at the Rosewood Mayakobá, the Azul Blue Hotel and the Four Seasons Costa Rica.

Denihan Hospitality Group has named Sims Foster to the newly created role of Vice President of Restaurants and Bars. Foster had been serving as a Consultant with Denihan since 2008, most recently working on the National in the Benjamin Hotel and Jimmy, the rooftop bar at the James New York, Soho.

John Daly has taken the position of Director of Food and Beverage at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. For the past ten years, he had been an Area General Manager at Culinaire International. Prior to that, he had spent over eleven years with Four Seasons in food and beverage management positions.

Juan Carlos Cardona has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Buenos Aires. He had previously served in food and beverage positions for the Four Seasons Punta Mita and the Four Seasons Mexico City.

The JW Marriott Indianapolis Downtown has hired Mehdi Spadavecchia as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously overseen food and beverage for the Greenbelt Marriott Hotel, the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the Louisville Marriott.

Guillaume Paupy has joined the Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt Buenos Aires as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had been the Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Singapore. He had previously served in the same position for the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo.

Jerry Moynihan has been appointed Director of Engineering at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. He was most recently the Director of Property Operations for the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort.

The Trump Hotel Collection has hired Serena Rakhlin as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Hotel Business Development. A Cornell graduate, she was most recently with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and gathered earlier experience with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and PKF Consulting.

Sage Hospitality has named Matthew Sparks Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Business Development, based in Denver. He had previously served as Senior Vice President of Development for Wyndham Worldwide in Boulder and Senior Vice President, Global Development for Raffles Hotels in Boulder and in Singapore.

Abercrombie & Kent USA has named Franz Buchhalter Vice President of Sales. He was most recently Vice President, Leisure Sales and Marketing, at Kerzner International Resorts.

Ginny Morrison has been promoted to Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for Lane Hospitality. She was most recently the Corporate Director of Marketing and Revenue Management for the group.

Hawaii's Kona Village Resort has appointed Deaner Snively as Regional Sales Manager, based in San Francisco. He was most recently with the Big Island Visitors Bureau and, earlier in his career, spent time with Pleasant Holidays, Apple Vacations and Sun Trips, based in Northern California.

Jodi Doughty is the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the Four Seasons Houston. She was most recently in the same position for the Hotel Sorella also in Houston. She had previously served in sales and marketing positions for the Hotel ICON, the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta as well as the JW Marriott Jakarta.

The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel has appointed Donna Bond Director of Marketing. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sunstone Hospitality Management.

Will Wiest has been promoted to Director of Sales at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. For the past two years, Wiest had served as Director of Group Sales for the resort. He is also an alumnus of the (future) Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, the (former) Ritz-Carlton Huntington and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.

The Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa has named Gayle Rustenburg Director of Sales and Marketing. She had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing Task Force for Interstate Hotels & Resorts and as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hilton Grand Rapids Airport.

The Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel has promoted Sarah Best to Director of Sales. She was most recently serving as Director of Corporate and Leisure Travel Sales for the property.

Jennifer Kane has joined the Surrey in New York as Director of Sales. She was most recently Director of Corporate and Leisure Sales for the Gramercy Park Hotel. In addition, she spent the previous five years with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

The National Conference Center in Leesburg has appointed Gregory Spiller Director of Group Sales. He had previously overseen the Long Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and held sales positions for the Lansdowne Resort and the InterContinental Houston.

The Cheyenne Mountain Resort has appointed Tammy Page-Boettner Associate Director of Sales. For the past eight years, she had served as Director of National Sales for the Broadmoor.

Kathy Ryan has been named Director of Catering and Convention Services for the Phoenician. For the past 23 years, she had served in numerous positions at the Fairmont Scottsdale.

Shelley Berry has returned to the Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club as Director of Catering. She previously held this post from 1997 to 2004. She was most recently the Director of Catering, Conference Services and Banquets at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.

The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club has named Kate Foster Senior Catering Manager. She was previously a Catering Manager at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. Also, joining the resort as Catering Manager is the former Event Manager at Sands Expo & Convention Center Las Vegas, Stacy Morris.

Todd Humphries is now the Principal Partner with Richard Miyashiro of Napa's Oxbow Wine and Cheese Market. He was most recently at Martini House as Chef de Cuisine. He is a former Executive Chef for Greystone at the CIA and Campton Place in San Francisco in addition to previously serving as Sous Chef at Lespinasse at the St. Regis New York.

Dakota Weiss has left her chef post at the Hotel Shangri-La in Santa Monica to join the kitchen of the W Los Angeles.

Jamie West has returned to the San Ysidro Ranch as Executive Chef. He had previously held the same position at the resort from 1999 to 2003 before moving into the role of Executive Chef at the Mayflower Inn. He was most recently overseeing the kitchens at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa.

The Mandarin Oriental Washington D.C. has named Anupam Banerjee Head Chef. He has been with the company for nine years, joining the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park as Executive Sous Chef before moving to the Mandarin Oriental Geneva where he opened the restaurant Rasoi.

Andrew Chadwick has been appointed Executive Chef at the Woodlands Inn in South Carolina. His previous chef stints include working with the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, Meadowood and the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas.

The Fairmont Mayakoba in Mexico has appointed Richard Silvester Executive Chef. He is a former Executive Chef for the JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa and the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel.

Kyle Ketchum has been appointed Executive Chef at the Hyatt Regency Newport Hotel & Spa in Rhode Island. He is the former Executive Chef for the restaurant Spiced Pear at the Chanler at Cliffwalk and at the Lark outside of Detroit.

Silverado Resort and Spa has appointed Jeffrey Jake Executive Chef. He was most recently Executive Chef for the Carneros Inn, and the former Executive Chef at the Lodge at Pebble Beach.

Cafe del Rey has named Daniel Roberts Executive Chef, taking over for Jason Niederkorn who left in October. Roberts is a former chef at Asia de Cuba and Baleen.

Gordon Maybury has joined the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens as Executive Chef for the Ironwood Grille. The Dubliner is a former Executive Chef for the Loews Miami Beach Hotel and the Peninsula New York. 

Oscar Gonzalez has left the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall to join the Beverly Wilshire as Executive Sous Chef. He had previously served in previous culinary positions for the Ritz-Carlton Naples and the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner.

Robert McCormick has changed climate and moved to the Little Nell in Aspen as Executive Sous Chef. He was most recently serving as Executive Chef for Hana Maui. He had previously served as Chef de Cuisine for Daniel Boulud Brasserie at the Wynn Las Vegas and the Willcox in South Carolina.  

Romain Renard has transferred to the Beverly Wilshire as Executive Pastry Chef. He was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Florence. He had previously served in various pastry positions for the Four Seasons Washington, D.C. and Restaurant Daniel in New York.

Dorian Southall has joined the Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club as Banquet Chef. Southall was most recently the Executive Sous Chef of Quarter Kitchen at San Diego's the Ivy Hotel.

Peder Tillung has been named Food and Beverage Manager for Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa. He is a former Director of Food and Beverage at La Torretta Del Lago, the St. Regis Aspen and the W New Orleans.

Leslie Johnson has been named Spa Director of Spa La Quinta at La Quinta Resort & Club. She had previously been serving as a consultant and had previously been involved with spa operations for the Cloister Spa and Fitness Center, the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort and Miraval Resort & Spa.

EUROPE

At the Société des Bains de Mer, Luca Allegri, who had joined the group in October 2007 as General Manager of the Hotel de Paris, becomes Group Director of Operations, succeeding Michel Sabot. Prior to joining the Hotel de Paris, Allegri was the Assistant General Manager at the Plaza-Athénée in Paris.

The hotel management company owned by the Ferragamo family, Lungarno Alberghi, has appointed Valeriano Antonioli Chief Operating Officer. Since 2007, Antonioli had been the Managing Director at the InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. He had previously served as General Manager of the W Los Angeles, the Diana Majestic in Milan and had been Resident Manager at the Hotel Principie di Savoia and the Hotel Duca, both in Milan.

Orient-Express has appointed Leon Larkin Managing Director, Russia. He will oversee the Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg. He most recently opened and managed the InterContinental Kiev. Larkin had previously served as General Manager of the St. Regis Beijing, Area Manager for Parkroyal Hotels in Singapore and General Manager of the InterContinental Prague.

Walter Neumann has been named General Manager of the Hotel Astoria in St. Petersburg. He was most recently with Travel Charme Hotels & Resorts where he was Managing Director, Operations. He had previously served as Rooms Division Manager at the Grand Hotel Europe, followed by a role as Executive Assistant Manager in the pre-opening team at the Clarion North Crown Hotel.

Jean-Marc Michel has returned to Le Mirador Lake Geneva. He joined as General Manager after serving as Assistant General Manager and Controller from 1995-1998. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the Ephelia Resort in the Seychelles after stints as Resort Manager for the One&Only Le Saint Géran and Hotel Manager at Reid's Palace in Portugal.

Paul Knightley has moved as General Manager to the Thistle Kensington Gardens. He has been with Thistle for over ten years, most recently as General Manager of the Thistle Hyde Park.

Fernando Rojo has been named General Manager of the Barvikha Hotel & Spa Hotel in Moscow. He was most recently with Casa Fuster in Barcelona as General Manager. Rojo was previously the Area Director for Eurostars Hotels and pre-opening Deputy General Manager at the Grand Hotel Rodina. In addition, he previously served as Hotel Deputy Director at the Hotel Claris in Barcelona.

Guillaume Marly has moved to the Ritz London as Hotel Manager. He was most recently with the Connaught London in a similar role. He had previously overseen food and beverage for Claridge's, the Jumeirah Carlton Tower and the Dorchester.

The Fairmont St. Andrews has appointed Garrett Turta General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Fairmont Algonquin. 

Christian Zandonella has joined the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Hotel Manager for the Capri Palace Hotel & Spa and had previously overseen food and beverage for the Hotel Arts Barcelona for Ritz-Carlton.

The Four Seasons George V has promoted Sylvie Rolland to Senior Human Resource Director. She joined the hotel in 2005 as Director of Human Resources.

Ruth Jones has been promoted to Executive Assistant Manager,Marketing and Development, at the Ritz London. She joined the hotel in 1998, overseeing the sales and marketing team.

Mathilde Rose has been appointed Director of Group and Incentive Sales for the One&Only Mazagan Beach Resort and Atlantis. She joins following three years in a similar position for the sixteen hotels of the Groupe Lucien Barrière. Rose also handled the MICE markets for Starwood in Europe and for Oberoi.

Rachel Louis has been named Director of Sales for the Dorchester London. She was most recently the Director of Sales at the InterContinental London Park Lane and Assistant Director of Sales at the Maybourne Hotel Group. Previously, she was Regional Assistant Director of Sales for the Morgans Hotel Group, responsible for St. Martin's Lane and the Sanderson.

Julia Record has been named Director of Communications for the Dorchester Collection. She had previously served as Vice President Global Communications for Kerzner International, Global Public Relations Director for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Hong Kong and Group Public Relations Director of the Savoy Group in London.

At the Chateau de Brindos, the new Chef is Christophe Grosjean, who comes home after eight years spent in California at the Bernardus Lodge (under Cal Stamenov) and at L'Auberge Carmel.

The Dubrovnik Palace Hotel has appointed Chef Kristijan Konjevic to the team. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at the Delta Centre Ville. He had previously held various culinary positions for Celebrity Cruises, the Hotel de la Montagne in Montreal and the Novotel Montreal.

Karim Gharbi has been promoted to Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons George V. For the past two years, he had been serving as Assistant Director of Rooms.  

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Stefan Huemer has joined the Jumeirah Group as Area General Manager – Maldives. He was most recently the General Manager at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City. Huemer was previously based in the Maldives as Regional General Manager and Island Chief for the Kuredu & Komandoo Island Resort & Spa for five years.

Sharon Fraser has been named General Manager for the InterContinental Chongqing. She had previously served as Executive Assistant Manager at the Holiday Inn Shanghai Vista and had overseen sales and marketing for the Crowne Plaza hotels in Shanghai and Beijing.

Andreas Pfister has moved as General Manager to the InterContinental Hua Hin, taking over from Pattama Yoshimura. Pfister was most recently the pre-opening General Manager for the InterContinental and Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar in Delhi. He is the former General Manager of the InterContinental Beijing Beichen.

The Fairmont Jaipur has named Atul Lall General Manager. He was most recently with Keys Hotels.
 
Alexander Pichel has been named General Manager for the Fairmont Baku in Azerbaijan. He was previously the General Manager with Rocco Forte's Hotel Astoria in St. Petersburg and at the Hyatt Regency Bishkek.

Sammy Carolus has returned to the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. He had previously served the hotel as Director of Marketing and will now move into the General Manager role. He was most recently with the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok as Executive Assistant Manager after joining the hotel in 2004 as Director of Marketing.

The Hansar Bangkok has named Manfred Ilg General Manager. He was most recently serving as General Manager for Asian Oasis and Managing Executive for sister company, East West Siam. He is a former General Manager for La Residence d'Angkor in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Steven Greenwood has moved to New Zealand to take over as General Manager at the InterContinental Wellington. He has been with the company since 1996 and most recently was in the role of Hotel Manager at the InterContinental and Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City.

Diaz Yonadie has transferred as General Manager to the Swiss-Belhotel Ambon. His last position was as General Manager of the Swiss-Belhotel Papua in Jayapura. Previous General Manager posts include overseeing the Swiss-Grand and Pat-Mase in Bali, and the Swiss-Belhotel Borneo, Banjarmasin. 

Brice Borin has moved to the Regent Phuket Cap Panwa as General Manager. He was most recently running the Regent Maldives. He had previously served as Hotel Manager for the Anantara Resort Hua Hin and the Anantara Resort Maldives.

Matthew Pickett has been named Resort Manager for the Kauai Beach Resort. For the past five years, he had been with the Halekulani and Waikiki Parc Hotels, most recently as Restaurant Manager for Orchids.

Anthony Gill has been named General Manager for the Life Heritage Resort Hoi An in Vietnam. He was most recently with Six Senses in Phuket and had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the InterContinental Doha. His previous Vietnam experience includes holding the title of Executive Assistant Manager at the Evason Ana Mandara in Nha Trang for two years.

Thierry Douet has been appointed General Manager of the Pullman Sanya Yalong Bay Resort & Spa. He is the former General Manager for Le Belhamy Resort & Spa and the Ibis Mangga Dua Jakarta.

John Kockan has been named General Manager of the Pan Pacific Xiamen. He was most recently the General Manager of the Pan Pacific-run ParkRoyal on Beach Road in Singapore.

Indra Siswanto has returned to Swiss-Belhotel as General Manager of the Swiss-Belhotel Silae in Indonesia. He had previously worked at the Swiss-Belhotel Borneo as Director of Sales before taking on his most recent role as General Manager of the Mitra Hotel, Bandung.

Erick Herlangga has been named General Manager of the Swiss-Belhotel Papua. He had previously served as Director of Rooms for the Ramada Plaza Zhengzhou and as Hotel Operation Manager at the Pudi Boutique Hotel Fuxing Parc Shanghai.

The Chedi Phuket is becoming the Surin Phuket and, overseeing the change, is new General Manager Antonio Saponara. He moved from his most recent position as Hotel Manager at Amanpuri in Phuket.

Quinton Lu has been promoted to Hotel Manager and joined the Four Seasons Shanghai. The Cornell graduate had previously overseen rooms for the Four Seasons Austin, the Four Seasons Dublin and the Four Seasons Hong Kong.

The Novotel Citygate Hong Kong has appointed Kumar Ellawala Resident Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Mercure Crossley Hotel in Australia.

Antoine Melon has moved to the Maldives to take over as Resident Manager at the Six Senses Laamu Resort. He was most recently with the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong as Food and Beverage Director.

Tim Weiland has been promoted to Hotel Manager and moved to Rajasthan to join Amanbagh. For the past two years, the Lausanne graduate had been in Morocco at Amanjena as Director of Food and Beverage.

The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi has appointed Max Binda Resident Manager. For the past two years, he had served as Director of Rooms at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.

Russell Norris has joined the Hans Royal Garden Hotel Beijing as Resident Manager. He was previously the General Manager at the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen.

David Daguise has joined the Sofitel Krabi Prokeethra Golf and Spa in Thailand as Resident Manager. He was most recently with the Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives as Resort Manager.

Dan Greenwood is transferring to the opening team of the Four Seasons Guangzhou as Senior Director of Engineering. He has been with the company since 1985, most recently serving as Senior Director of Engineering-Asia Pacific based in Bali.

Sylvain Boussard is the new Food and Beverage Manager at the Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa in the Maldives. He is a former General Manager for the Carlisle Bay Resort and Director of Food and Beverage for the Hotel Hesperia Tower in Barcelona.

Jumeirah has named Alexandre Hulen Director of Sales and Marketing – Maldives. He was previously with the Anantara Group, overseeing sales and marketing in the Maldives.

Nicola Chilton has moved to Bangkok to take over as Regional Director of Public Relations for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. She was most recently with William Mackay at the Four Seasons Hong Kong as Director of Public Relations.

Taking over for Chilton as Director of Public Relations at the Four Seasons Hong Kong is Claire Blackshaw. Blackshaw was most recently with the Four Seasons Hampshire as Public Relations Manager.

Doug Hesley joins the Four Seasons Revenue Management team in the role of Director Revenue Management, Asia Pacific, based out of the Singapore Corporate Office. He joins from Norwegian Cruise Line where he was the Corporate Director of Revenue Management. He also spent five years with Harrah's Entertainment in Atlantic City.

Michael Grohs has joined the InterContinental Hong Kong as Director of Revenue Management. He has been with IHG since 2000, most recently as Revenue Manager for the InterContinental Praha in Prague.

The Hansar Bangkok has hired Chatree Wongsriphaisan as Executive Chef. He was previously with the Dome and Lebua Hotel, State Tower in Bangkok as Sous Chef at Sirocco Restaurant.

Damien Marchenay has joined the InterContinental Hong Kong as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel de Paris in Monaco. He had previously served in food and beverage positions at the Warwick Barsey Hotel in Brussels, Raffles Singapore and the Park Hyatt Vendôme in Paris.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Todd Cilano transfers as General Manager, from the Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stefano to the Four Seasons Mauritius. His first General Manager stint with Four Seasons started in September 2007 at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai and the Tented Camp.

Mohammed Siddiqi has been named General Manager of the Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower Hotel in Saudi Arabia. He is the former General Manager for the Tabuk Sahara Hotel.
 
Ralph Katthoefer has been named Regional Director of Operations for Swiss-Belhotel International in the Middle East. He was most recently the Corporate Head of Hotel Operations at Aldiana in Germany.

Stefan Bloemker has been promoted to General Manager and joined the Hyatt Regency Taba Heights. He was most recently serving as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage for the Grand Hyatt Cairo. He had previously overseen food and beverage for the Grand Hyatt Istanbul and the Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheik.

Rémy Cadière has moved to Mozambique to oversee food and beverage for the Hotel Polana. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the InterContinental Nairobi. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage for the Presidente InterContinental Cozumel, Resort & Spa and the Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa & Casino in Curacao.

Samira El Jaouhari has been named Director of Human Resources at the Four Seasons Marrakech. She had previously served as pre-opening Director of Human Resources for the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.

Georges Karam has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon Mountain Resort and Spa. He was most recently at the Phoenicia InterContinental as Director of Sales.

Costas Gavriel has joined the Grand Millennium Al Wahda in Abu Dhabi as Executive Assistant Manager - Sales and Marketing. He was most recently a Vice President for the travel division at SAB Holdings in Jeddah. He previously served as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for Rosewood Hotels in the Middle East.
