Robert Cima is taking over as General Manager and Regional Vice President at the
Four Seasons Vancouver. He ends the short hiatus he took after serving in the challenging role of General Manager of the now former
Four Seasons Aviara. He had previously served as Hotel Manager for the
Ritz-Carlton Chicago and General Manager at the
Four Seasons Philadelphia.
Lausanne graduate
Julien Carralero has been named opening General Manager for the
Four Seasons Baltimore, expected to open in late 2011. For the past nine years, he had been serving as General Manager of the
Four Seasons Gresham Palace Budapest. He had previously served as Resort Manager at the former
Four Seasons Aviara and Hotel Manager at the
Four Seasons George V. Prior to joining Four Seasons in 1998, he had spent ten years with
Ritz-Carlton.
Rebeca Selley is now the General Manager at the
Four Seasons Buenos Aires. She has been with the company for fifteen years and was most recently at the
Four Seasons Mexico City as General Manager.
Ricardo Acevedo has moved to the
Four Seasons Mexico City as General Manager. He was most recently at the
Four Seasons Miami in the same position.
Simon Pettigrew takes over from Acevedo at the
Four Seasons Miami as General Manager. He was most recently at the
Four Seasons Vancouver as General Manager.
Colin Clark has returned as General Manager to
Four Seasons Palm Beach. For the past three years, he had been the General Manager of the
Four Seasons Hampshire. His first stint in Palm Beach was as Resort Manager from 2003 to 2007.
MGM Resorts International has promoted
Corey Sanders to Chief Operating Officer. A sixteen-year MGM Veteran, he served as Chief Operating Officer of MGM Resorts, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations of the
MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Scott Sibella takes over from
Gamal Aziz as President and Chief Operating Officer of the MGM Grand Las Vegas, while

Renée West will move to the

MGM Resorts also announced that
George Corchis, the current President of the company's Mississippi operations, has been promoted to president of MGM Resorts' regional properties. MGM Grand Senior Vice President of Marketing
Steve Zanella will take over as General Manager of the
MGM Grand Detroit.

Ilan Segal is now at the
Standard Miami as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager for the
Gansevoort South Hotel and Residences. At the Standard, Segal takes over from
Matthew Pargament, who has left the company.
Helmut Knipp has been named Senior Vice President Development North America for
Langham. He had previously served as Managing Director at
CCA International, and General Manager at the
Capital Hilton Hotel.
R. Michael King has rejoined the
Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach as General Manager. He had previously spent over twenty years with the company including the post of General Manager at the
Ritz-Carlton Denver and the
Ritz-Carlton Cleveland. He was most recently serving as opening General Manager of the
Waldorf Astoria Orlando.
Davide Barnes will transition to the
Four Seasons Austin as Hotel Manager before taking on a General Manager position still in development. Barnes was most recently the General Manager for the
Four Seasons Prague.
Scott Butera has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of
Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises. Butera was previously the Chief Executive Officer of
Tropicana Entertainment, and had served as Chief Operating Officer of the
Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino Las Vegas, and
Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts.
The
InterContinental Dallas has appointed
Scott Blakeslee General Manager. He had previously served as Vice President of Strategic Business Development for the
Palms Casino Resort and as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the
Harmon Hotel, Spa and Residences, both in Las Vegas.
Steven Parker has been named General Manager of the
Langham in Pasadena, the former
Ritz-Carlton Huntington, replacing
Martin Nicholson. Parker was most recently the General Manager of the
Millenium Biltmore, following an international career with
InterContinental.
Ronald Hulsey has returned to
Ritz-Carlton as General Manager at the
Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas. He had previously served as opening Director of Residences at the
Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, before taking on his most recent position as General Manager for the
Cibolo Creek Ranch Resort.
Rockwood Capital has named
Antonio Lariño Director, Hotels, based in White Plains. Most recently, Lariño was a Managing Director at
Westmont Hospitality. Prior to that, he spent seven years at
Starwood Hotels and Resorts, most recently as Senior Vice President – Americas, Full Service Development.
Vail Resorts has appointed
Bill Rock Chief Operating Officer of the
Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort. Since 2005, he had been with
Intrawest's
Snowshoe Mountain Resort as President and Chief Operating Officer. He had previously served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the
Durango Mountain Resort in Colorado.
Robert Purdy has moved up to the
Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the
Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. Purdy had previously served as Resident Manager of the
Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
Barbara Readey has been named General Manager of the
Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. Most recently, she held the title of Area General Manager of the

Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in Florida. He was most recently with the

William Kornegay Senior Vice President, Supply Management based in McLean. He was most recently with

Lawrence McFadden has been named Vice President, Food and Beverage, at the
MGM Grand Las Vegas, taking over from
Alexandre Gaudelet. McFadden joins MGM with a lifetime of experience with
Ritz-Carlton, which most recently included the positions of Corporate Executive Chef and those of Hotel Manager and Director of Food and Beverage at the
Ritz-Carlton Naples.
Guillaume Paupy has moved to Buenos Aires as Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage, for the
Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt. For the past two years, he had been with the
Four Seasons Singapore as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously overseen food and beverage for the
Grand Hyatt São Paulo.
Marco Zanolari has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the
Beverly Wilshire. He was most recently with the
Four Seasons Doha as Director of Food and Beverage.
Laurent Lala has joined the
Trump National Golf Club in Virginia as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past five years, he had been overseeing food and beverage operations at the
Georgetown Club.
Michael Blaksteen has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at
La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa. He was most recently in the same role for the
Makena Beach & Golf Resort in Hawaii.
Lorenzo Mietitore has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the
Four Seasons Punta Mita. He joined the resort in 2006 as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Director of Restaurants for the
Four Seasons Canary Wharf. In Punta Mita, he replaces
Miguel Carvalho who has left the company.
Mie Young Reed has moved over as Director of Human Resources to the
JW Marriott Indianapolis Downtown. She was most recently the Director of Human Resources at the
Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.

Michelangelo New York has appointed
Andres Julian Grundy Executive Chef. Prior to his new position, Grundy also served as Chef de Cuisine at
Ken Oringer's
Clio for three years and most recently at
L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon at the
Four Seasons New York.
Christopher Lee has left
Charlie Palmer's
Aureole where he had been the Chef since January 2009. His successor is
Christophe Bellanca, most recently of the
BLT Group, and formerly of
Le Cirque and
L'Orangerie. Lee, who had built his name (and Michelin standing) at
Gilt at the
New York Palace, had also been the Chef at
Striped Bass in Philadelphia and
Oceana in New York.
Michael Voltaggio will open his new restaurant,
Ink, on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood early next year. Voltaggio is a Top Chef winner and, most recently, overseeing the
Dining Room at the
Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. Dining Room colleague,
Josh Goldman, will follow Voltaggio over to Ink as Sommelier.
Sheridan Su has been named Executive Chef at

Craig Shelton has been named Executive Chef and Managing Partner of the
Inn at Dos Brisas. He was previously Chef and Owner of the
Ryland Inn in Whitehouse, New Jersey.

Dean Gress Executive Chef. He most recently worked with the

Shane Kelly Spa Director. He comes from the

Four Seasons Gresham Palace Budapest. He has been with the company for over twenty five years and for the past seven years had served as General Manager of the

René Beauchamp is returning to his post as General Manager of the
Four Seasons Prague, taking over for
Davide Barnes. Beauchamp was previously the General Manager for the hotel from 2002 to 2008, before moving to his most recent post at the
Four Seasons Provence at Terre Blanche.
Award-winning Chef and Restaurateur
Raymond Blanc, the founder of
Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons in Great Milton, has been named Vice President by its equity partner
Orient Express (who bought
Richard Branson's shares in Le Manoir a few years ago). As expected, his role will be mostly of a culinary nature with Orient Express' properties worldwide.
Forte dei Marmi's
Principe Hotel & Spa has named
Andrea Luri General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the
Castello del Nero Hotel & Spa.
London's
May Fair Hotel has named
Anthony Lee General Manager. He had previously served at the
Connaught Hotel for thirty one years.
Edith Gerhardt takes over from
Lothar Quarz as General Manager of the
Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg. She was most recently the Hotel Manager at the
Ritz-Carlton Berlin and had previously served as Director of Rooms for the opening of the
Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.
Jurgen Sutherland is the new General Manager at the
Hilton London Heathrow Airport. He had previously been in Prague with the
Corinthia Towers Hotel as General Manager.
Sarah Davidson has been appointed General Manager of the
Caledonian in Aberdeen. She was most recently in a similar role at

John Shigely, until now the Executive Vice President of the
MGM Grand Las Vegas, has been tapped to spearhead MGM Resorts' gaming interests in Asia, primarily in Macau.

Golden Palm Tree Sepang, taking over from William Vincent. He was most recently with

Joerg Boeckeler has transferred as General Manager to the
InterContinental Melbourne Rialto. He was most recently in the same position at the

Indra Siswanto has been appointed General Manager at the
Swiss-Belhotel Silae in Palu, Indonesia. He was most recently the General Manager of the
Mitra Hotel in Bandung and previously served as Director of Sales at the

Hong Kong Parkview Group where he spent thirteen years, most recently as Group Financial Controller of the
Beijing Parkview Green.
Hanoi's
Metropole has appointed
Max Binda Resident Manager. He was most recently the Director of Rooms at the
Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.
The
Four Seasons Koh Samui has named
Lubosh Barta Resort Manager. He started with the company six years ago at the
Four Seasons Bangkok as Director of Food and Beverage, before taking on his most recent role as Resort Manager at the
Four Seasons Chiang Mai in 2007.
Sebastian Hinsch has transferred to the
Four Seasons Hualalai as Director of Food and Beverage. Since 2008, he had been in a similar position at the
Four Seasons Houston. He had previously held food and beverage management positions with Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, Sydney and at the
Pierre.
Matt Sutter has joined the
Peninsula Tokyo as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously overseen food and beverage at the
Capella Singapore, the
Hyatt on the Bund and the
Park Hyatt Seoul.
Chris Glaessel has moved as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage to the
Fullerton in Singapore. He was most recently in the same position for the
Pudong Shangri-La.
Timothy Stanhope steps in for Glaessel in his new role as Director of Food and Beverage at the
Pudong Shangri-La. He was most recently serving the hotel as Area Executive Chef and has been with the company for over ten years.
Demeiter Vaubell has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Six Senses Con Dao. Vaubell was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Six Senses Zighy Bay in the Sultanate of Oman.
Goh Tee Kay has been appointed Director of Sales for the
ParkRoyal Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur. He was most recently the Director of Sales at the
Doubletree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur.
Matias Martinez has moved as Executive Chef to the
Banyan Tree Macau. He was most recently serving in the same position for the
Banyan Tree Mayakoba.
Thomas Bähner is the new Executive Chef at the
Grand Hyatt Tokyo. He had previously served as Executive Chef at the
Grand Hyatt Seoul, the
Grand Hyatt São Paulo and the
Grand Hyatt Amman.
Robert Blackborough has joined the
Pudong Shangri-La as Executive Chef. He was most recently in a similar role for the
Dubai Atlantis Hotel Palm Jumeirah.
Frédéric Meynard has joined the
Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel & Spa as Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the
Hilton Hanoi Opera. He had previously served in culinary roles for the
Sofitel Metropole Hanoi and the
Sofitel Wanda in Beijing.
The
Kowloon Shangri-La has appointed
Peter Ng as Executive Chinese Chef for
Shang Palace. He was most recently the Executive Chef for the
Hong Kong Golf Club.
The
Six Senses Con Dao has named
Richard Lee Executive Chef. He was previously the Executive Chef for the
Evason Ma'In Hot Springs & Spa Jordan.
Elizabeth Baxter has joined the
Six Senses Con Dao as Rooms Division Manager. She was most recently the Revenue Manager for the pre-opening team at
Evason Ma'In Hot Springs & Spa in Jordan.
MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA Accor Middle East has appointed
Tristan Beau DeLomenie as General Manager Hotels. He had previously overseen
Accor Thailand and
Accor Denmark.
Camilla Guyatt is the new General Manager of
Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco. She comes from
Cotton Bay Village in the Turks and Caicos. At the Kasbah, she takes over from
Kenton and Leesa Jones, who now head sister Virgin property
Necker Island, replacing longtime Necker Island management couple
Gordon Overing and
Nathalie Gingrass who have left the group.
Eric Pere has joined the
Corinthia Palace in Tripoli as General Manager. He was most recently serving as Development Director for
Orient Express. He had previously held the post of General Manager at the
Bora Bora Lagoon Resort, an Orient Express property.
Philippe Belhay has been named General Manager for the
Winter Valley Dead Sea by Swiss-Belhotel in Jordan. He had previously served as General Manager for the
Hertfordshire Golf & Country Manor House & Spa and
Le Royal Hammamet Resort & Spa.
Lothar Quarz has transferred as General Manager to the
Ritz-Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre. He was most recently in the same position at the
Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg.
Nick Yarnell has been promoted to Hotel Manager and has joined the
Four Seasons Marrakech. He was most recently in Paris at the
Four Seasons George V as Director of Rooms.
The
Four Seasons Marrakech has named
Tiago Castro Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently with the
Four Seasons des Bergues in Geneva as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the
Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon and at the
Grand Hyatt São Paulo.
Christophe Chabaud has moved as Director of Food and Beverage to the
Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage with the
Four Seasons Hualalai. Chabaud had previously served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the
Four Seasons Palm Beach.
Philippe Seguin is Vice President, Sales and Distribution for
Accor Middle East. He joined the company in 2002 and, since 2006, had served as Vice President Sales and Marketing for
Accor Hospitality Egypt, based in Cairo.
Hilton Worldwide has appointed
Emma Corcoran Director, Corporate Communications, Middle East and Africa. She was most recently with
InterContinental as Global Communications Director.
Christophe Gillino is returning to Marrakech to join the
Four Seasons Marrakech as Executive Chef. He had previously served as Executive Chef at
La Mamounia, before taking on his most recent role with the
Four Seasons Nile Plaza in Cairo as Executive Chef.
The
Grand Millennium Al Wahda in Abu Dhabi has named
Gus Moustakas Executive Chef. He had held various culinary positions with the
InterContinental Abu Dhabi and the
Al Bustan Palace Hotel Muscat.
The
Burj Al Arab hotel has named
Mansur Memarian Chef de Cuisine for
Al Mahara. He had previously earned a Michelin star at both
Jagdhof Glashutte and the
Pavilion restaurant in Innsbruck, Austria.
