THE AMERICAS Thierry Guillot has moved to the
Hyatt Regency Sao Paulo as General Manager. He was most recently in the same position for the
Hyatt Regency Paris-Charles de Gaulle, after joining the property in 2003 as Executive Assistant Manager.
Nicholas DiMeglio moves
to the
Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands as Area General Manager. He had previously served as General Manager for the mountain resort before taking on his most recent role with corporate as Vice President of Operations for the
Ritz-Carlton Club. Kerrington Hing has joined the
Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana as General Manager. He was most recently with the
Ritz-Carlton Club Aspen Highlands as General Manager after serving as Hotel Manager for the
Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch.
Sam Kapadia is the new General Manager of the
Warwick New York. His predecessors included
Wanda Chan and, most recently,
David Cohen. Kapadia was recently the General Manager of the
Hilton Stamford and the
Doubletree Metropolitan New York (formerly the
Loews Summit).
Doug Lovell has moved to the
Beaver Creek Resort as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was most recently at
Keystone Resort as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
John Buhler becomes Vice President and General Manager of
Keystone Resort. He was most recently at
Breckenridge as Director of Skier Services.
Pete Sonntag becomes Vice President and General Manager of
Heavenly Mountain Resort. He was most recently the Vail Ski & Snowboard School Director.
Florent Gateau has joined the
ONE Bal Harbor as General Manager, replacing
Erin Hosler. For the past two years, Gateau had been in the same position for the
Viceroy Miami. Previous positions include Managing Director for the
Acqualina Resort and Hotel Manager for the
Setai Miami.
Shan Kanagasingham takes over from Gateau as General Manager of the
Viceroy Miami. For the past three years, she had been at sister property the
Tides Miami as General Manager.
Jeff David has rejoined the
Viceroy Anguilla as General Manager, taking over from
Jan Tibaldi. He was previously serving as Resort Manager at the property, before taking on his most recent role as General Manager at the
Viceroy Snowmass.
Duncan Hogarth has joined
Rosewood Hotels as Resort Manager at
Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands. He had previously been with
La Samanna as Director of Operations. He had held various posts with the
Hotel Bel-Air and the
Lodge at Vail.
Shawn Goodway has been promoted to General Manager of the
Saratoga Hilton. For the past two years, he had served as Director of Finance for the property. Previously, he spent three years as General Manager of the
Gideon Putnam Resort & Spa.
Maurizio Romani has been named Managing Director for the
Caesar Park Rio de Janeiro. He was most recently with the
Aquapura Douro Valley Hotel in Portugal as General Manager. He had previously managed
L'Hotel Andana, the
Caesar Augustus Hotel on Anacapri and the
Grand Hotel Palace in Rome.
Richard Raab has been promoted to the position of Resort Manager, joining the
Four Seasons Nevis. For the past year, he had served as Director of Food and Beverage at the
Beverly Wilshire. He had previously held food and beverage management positions at the
Four Seasons Great Exuma, the
Four Seasons London and the
Four Seasons Maui.
The
Renaissance Palm Springs has placed
John Daw as General Manager. Daw joins the resort from the
Pyramid Hotel Group, where he oversaw operations for properties in Florida and South Carolina.
The
Hilton Curaçao has named
George Stanfield General Manager. He was most recently Resident Manager at the
Hilton Cancún Golf & Spa Resort.
The
InterContinental Tampa has appointed
James Horsman Managing Director. He was most recently the Managing Director of
Destination Hotels' sister property, the
Stowe Mountain Lodge. He had previously served as General Manager of the
Nine Zero Hotel Boston, the
Ritz-Carlton Dubai and the
Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia.
RockResorts has named Cornell graduate
Ben Tutt General Manager of
La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa. He comes from
The Reefs in Bermuda where he was the Managing Director.
The
JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa has placed
Jim Rose as General Manager. He had previously served as General Manager at the
JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Resident Manager at the
Maui Marriott.
The
M Resort Spa Casino has appointed
Jody Lake Senior Vice President and General Manager. Lake had previously worked with
Station Casinos, serving in several positions including Director of Operations Analysis.
John Evans has been named General Manager of the
Silverado Resort in Napa Valley, now overseen by
Dolce Hotels and Resorts. He was recently the General Manager for the
Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay. At Silverado, Evans takes over from
Kirk Candland.
Eddie Andre has been promoted to the position of General Manager, joining the
Hilton Checkers Los Angeles. Andre was formerly the Director of Operations for the
Westin Princeton. At Checkers, he replaces
Kathy Faulk, now the General Manager of the nearby
Millenium Biltmore.
Thomas Puccio has been named General Manager of the
Allegria Hotel in Long Beach, New York. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.

David King has been named Senior Vice President, Operations, for
Interstate Hotels and Resorts. He had previously served as Regional Vice President of
Loews Hotels and Vice President of Staff Operations - North America Division, for
Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Elizabeth Delens has been appointed General Manager for the
Sheraton Annapolis. She was most recently the General Manager of the
Four Points by Sheraton Washington, D.C. Downtown. She had previously served as Director of Operations for the
Holiday Inn on the Hill and the
L'Enfant Plaza Hotel.
Peter Humig has moved to the
Four Seasons Philadelphia as Hotel Manager. He was most recently at the former
Four Seasons Aviara in a similar role. He had held various rooms management positions with the
Four Seasons Washington, D.C., the
Four Seasons Berlin and the
Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich.
Francois-Olivier Luiggi has been appointed Hotel Manager for the
Setai Fifth Avenue, scheduled to open in November. For the past two years, he had served as Hotel Manager for the
Mark. He had previously held the position of Executive Assistant Manager for the
Carlyle in New York and held various positions with
Four Seasons for nine years.
The
Hyatt Regency Bonaventure has named
Scott Snipes Hotel Manager. He was most recently in the same position for the
Hyatt Regency Atlanta. He has been with the company since 1995, holding various management positions in Greenville, San Antonio and for the
Grand Hyatt Atlanta.

Four Seasons Palm Beach. He was most recently with the
Four Seasons Washington, D.C. as Director of Food and Beverage.
Bob Haislip has been appointed Director of Operations at the
Lansdowne Resort in Virginia. He had previously served as Assistant General Manager and Director of Operations for the
Chateau on the Lake Resort in Branson, Missouri.
Alexandre Gaudelet is moving to New York to join
BR Guest as Chief Operating Officer. For the past five years, he had been with the
MGM Grand Las Vegas, most recently serving as Vice President Food and Beverage. He had previously held the position of Restaurant Director at the
Hotel Meurice in Paris.

Peter Tischmann has transferred to the
Four Seasons Chicago as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position at the
Four Seasons Miami since 2008. He had previously served in food and beverage management positions at the
Four Seasons Maui and the
Four Seasons New York.
Patrick Robineau has transferred to the
Four Seasons Las Vegas as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same positions at the
Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh.
Diego Anea has transferred to the re-branded
Park Hyatt Aviara Resort as Executive Assistant Manager - Food and Beverage. He was most recently at the
Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. in the same role.
David Morgan has been named Corporate Director of Food and Beverage for
Omni Hotels and Resorts. He was most recently the General Manager at the
Mondrian Scottsdale. He had previously served in food and beverage roles for the
InterContinental Los Angeles and the
Biltmore Los Angeles.
Francis Walters has joined Louisiana's
Cypress Bend Resort as Director of Food and Beverage. A member of the
Chaine des Rotisseurs, Walters previously served as Executive Chef of the
Rainbow Lodge restaurant in Houston.
Mark Butcher has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the
Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Florida. He had previously held food and beverage management positions for the
Oakroom at the
Seelbach Hilton, the
Eden Roc Renaissance Resort & Spa, the
Fort Lauderdale Marina Marriott and the
Marco Island Marriott.
Rebecca Harrison has been promoted to Director of Finance at the
Four Seasons Austin, taking over from
Virginia Appling. Harrison joined the hotel in 2007 as Assistant Director of Finance. She had previously served in the finance office at the
Four Seasons Great Exuma at Emerald Bay.
Joel Reichbart has joined the
Ian Schrager Company in New York as Executive Vice President - Hotel Finance. He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer with
Culinary Concepts by Jean Georges. Previously, he had served as Controller for the
New York Palace.
Eva Tyrawa has been appointed Controller for the
Eaglewood Resort & Spa. She was previously the Director of Finance for the
Chicago Marriott Schaumburg.

Hotel Maya in Long Beach. He was most recently the Director of Sales for the
Beverly Hilton. Previously, he had held sales roles for the
Oceana in Santa Monica and the

Jorge Collazo has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa Miami Beach. He was most recently the Director of Marketing at the
Four Seasons Los Angeles. Previously, he was handling the corporate markets at the
Four Seasons Miami and served as Director of Marketing at the
Setai Miami.
Holly Waterbor-Breuche has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Setai Fifth Avenue . She had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing at both the
Omni Berkshire Hotel and the
New York Palace. Breuche later served as Hotel Manager and Acting General Manager for the Omni Berkshire before taking the helm at the
Benjamin Hotel.
LuAnn Pappas has been appointed Vice President of Marketing for
Harrah's New Orleans. Pappas most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Non-Gaming Operations for the
Grand Biloxi in Mississippi.
Loews Hotels has appointed
Tina Smith Executive Director of National Accounts. Most recently, she was the Account Director for the
Westin & Sheraton Beach Resorts in Fort Lauderdale.
Jennifer Wasserman has joined the
Joule in Dallas as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was previously the Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Garrett Creek Ranch Conference Center, the

Loews Hotels has promoted
Debbie Castillo to the position of Vice President of Hotel Sales. She joined Loews in 1999 as Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Loews Miami Beach Hotel and was promoted to Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2004. Previously, she had served as Regional Director of Marketing with
Sonesta Hotels & Resorts and Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Doral Ocean Beach Resort.

Craig Schoninger Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past eight years, he had been the Director of Sales and Marketing at the

H Hotel in Midland, Michigan. He was previously the Director of Sales and Marketing for the

Indianapolis Marriott East.

Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel, a member of the
Waldorf-Astoria Collection. Grush most recently served as Director of Sales at sister property the

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina. He most recently served as Director of Sales for two properties in Rosemont, Illinois – the

David Wiener Regional Sales and Marketing Vice President, based in San Diego at the

Ryan Davis has been appointed Director of Revenue at the
Westin Westminster in Colorado. Since 2004, he has worked for Denver-based
Sage Hospitality Resources, which manages the Westin Westminster, most recently as Corporate Revenue Manager for Sage's Select Service Division.
Robert Wilson has joined the
Montage Laguna Beach as Executive Chef. For the past two years, he had been down the Coast Highway at the
Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel as Executive Chef. He had previously served as Executive Chef at the
Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey and the now former
Ritz-Carlton Dearborn.
Michael Goralski has been appointed Executive Chef at the
Four Seasons Jackson Hole. He joins the property from the
Four Seasons Maui where he served as Executive Sous Chef for two years.

Four Seasons St. Louis has named
Fabrizio Schenardi Executive Chef. Since 2004, he had been the Executive Chef for
Pelagia Trattoria in the
Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza. He had previously served as Executive Sous Chef at the
St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, Specialty Restaurant Chef at the
Four Seasons Maui and Senior Chef at what was then known as the
Regent Beverly Wilshire.
Stephen Strickland has joined
La Quinta Resort and Club as Executive Chef. He had previously held chef positions for the

Tim Ryan has been promoted to Director of Restaurants for the
MGM Grand Las Vegas. He was most recently serving as General Manager for their restaurant,

Caterina Mirabelli Manager of Cantinetta Piero restaurant. For the past four years, she was the Wine Director at
District in San Francisco. Prior to that, she was the Sommelier at
Providence and
Zen Zoo Grill, both in Los Angeles.
Paul Robinson has joined the
Hotel Luca in Napa Valley as Sommelier. He was most recently the Wine Director for the
Trio Bistro and
3 Creek Ranch, both located in Jackson, Wyoming.
Michael Batterberry the Editor in Chief and Co-Founder of
Food Arts (and
Food and Wine, for which
Hugh Hefner provided seed money) has died. Dapper and soft-spoken, Batterberry had a very deep influence on the way restaurant-caliber cuisine and concepts made their way into hotels worldwide. Food Arts remains a much sought after publication for those in the know and its monthly Silver Spoon Award a coveted goal among hospitality professionals.

Rocco Forte Collection has named
Karim Naffah Managing Director. Naffah has been acting as a consultant to the company since July 2009. He had previously played key roles with
Bass PLC/Six Continents PLC,
Mitchells & Butlers and
Bain & Company. Michael Gray has been appointed Area Director for
Hyatt International for the United Kingdom, adding to his current duties as General Manager of the
Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill. He had previously served as General Manager of the
Hyatt Canberra, the
Grand Hyatt Melbourne and the
Hyatt Carlton Tower.
Franck Sibille has joined the
Marbella Club Group in Spain as Area General Manager. He was most recently at the
Mandarin Oriental Jnan Rahma in Marrakech as General Manager. Sibille had previously served as General Manager for the
Hyatt Regency La Manga and the
Park Hyatt Madrid - Villa Magna.
Olivier Thomas has transferred as Hotel Manager to the
Four Seasons Prague. For the past two years, he had held the same position at the
Four Seasons Amman. Prior to joining Four Seasons in 2008, Thomas was the Hotel Manager at the
St. Regis New York.
Robert Herr is moving as General Manager of the
InterContinental Berlin. He takes over for
Willy Weiland who will be retiring after 37 years with the group. Herr was most recently the General Manager of the
InterContinental Prague.
Giampaolo Padula has been named General Manager of the
Hotel d'Inghilterra in Rome. He was most recently overseeing the
Hotel Caesar Augustus on Capri.
The
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London has appointed
Flavia Caponi as Director of Sales and Marketing, taking over from
Christina Deeney. Caponi was most recently at the
Mandarin Oriental Geneva as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Christina Deeny has joined
Orient Express Hotels and Resorts as Sales Director Europe based in London. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. A Lausanne graduate, Deeny also held the position of Regional Manager, UK, Ireland, Middle East and South Africa, for the
Leading Hotels of the World.
Michel Lefebvre, who was the Director of Finance at the
Four Seasons George V and an advisor to his
Royal Highness Prince Al Waleed, passed away from cancer July 5th. He was 58.
ASIA AND THE PACIFIC Original Founder
Robert Burns has returned to
Regent Hotels & Resorts as Honorary Chairman. And
Ralf Ohletz has been appointed President of Regent Hotels & Resorts. Ohletz had held senior management roles with the
Oriental Singapore, the
Mandarin Hong Kong and the
Pierre, in addition to
Beaufort Hotels. He was most recently the Executive Vice President of
GHM Hotels.
Thierry Douin goes from Area General Manager at the
Shangri-La Singapore, to Area General Manager at the
Shangri-La Bangkok. He and
Michael Cottan play musical chairs.
Deng Yuanming has been appointed General Manager of the
Jianguo Hotel Beijing. He had previously served as Deputy General Manager of the
Beijing Xiyuan Hotel and the
Beijing Jinlun Hotel.
Philip Yu has been promoted to General Manager of the
Hyatt Regency Hangzhou. He was most recently with the

Shane Green General Manager. He was most recently Area General Manager and Vice President Operations with

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed
Nigel Roberts Vice President, Area Operations, Oceania, based in Sydney. He was most recently serving as President of the
Marina Bay Sands Resort in Singapore and previously held the title of Senior Vice President of Operations for
Langham Hotels and Resorts.
Akira Moreno has been appointed Vice President, Development & Pre-Opening Services for
GHM Hotels, based in Singapore. For the past two years, he had been serving as General Manager at the
Andaman Langkawi. He had previously served as Resident Manager for the
Leela in Goa and Hotel Manager for the
Raleigh in Miami.

Sven Isberg is General Manager of the

Neil Houghton has been appointed General Manager of the
Crowne Plaza Hotel and Suites Landmark Shenzhen. He was most recently General Manager at the

Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi,
set to open at the end of September. Since 2007, he had been with the

Anthony Freda Resort Manager. Freda was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the

Shangri-La Shenzhen. He has been with

New World Hospitality has appointed
Ivan Suardi Vice President Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage Projects for Asia Pacific at
Hyatt International. He was with Hyatt for more than sixteen years in Hong Kong, Taipei, Manila, Almaty, Jakarta and Dubai.
The
Sofitel Legend Métropole Hanoi has hired
Thibault Souchon as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past four years, he was in a similar role for the
Lotte Hotel Seoul, where he oversaw the opening of the
Pierre Gagnaire restaurant.
Jerome Colson has joined the
Ayana Resort and Spa Bali as Food and Beverage Executive Assistant Manager. For the past nine years, he had been with
Ritz-Carlton, most recently as Food and Beverage Executive Assistant Manager at the
Portman Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai.

GHM Hotels to Director of Finance and Administration. She was most recently serving the company as Financial Controller.
Francis Ling has been named Vice President Finance for
New World Hospitality. He was most recently Vice President Finance for
Marco Polo Hotels Management. He was previously with the
Hyatt Group for over twenty years in Hong Kong and Tianjin.
Clement Koh, Vice President Sales & Marketing for
GHM Hotels, takes over for
See Soo Eng who has retired after seventeen years with the company. Koh had previously served as Vice-President Sales and Marketing Asia Pacific for the
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed
Andy Tan Vice President, Sales, based in Singapore. He was most recently with
Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he was both Regional Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Global Sales and Lead Prospecting Centre.
Anna Guillan has returned as Executive General Manager, Sales and Marketing, for
Hayman and
Mulpha Hotels Australia. She was most recently Executive General Manager, Sales and Marketing with
Voyages Hotels & Resorts. Guillan originally joined Hayman in 1999 as Director of Sales and Marketing following nine years with the
InterContinental Sydney.
The
Guoman Hotel Shanghai has appointed
Cindy Ying as Director of Sales and Marketing. She had previously served in sales and marketing roles for the
St. Regis Shanghai and the
Four Seasons Shanghai.
Carina Toh has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the
Sheraton Guilin. She was previously the Director of Business Development at
Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort.
Coco Zhou has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Pan Pacific Xiamen. She joined the property in 2005 and was most recently serving as Director of Sales.
Vincent Robinson has moved to Honolulu to join the
Hilton Hawaiian Village as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from
Milan Drager who has left to attend the
Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Robinson was most recently with the
Hilton Tucson El Conquistador as Director of Food and Beverage.
MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA Cornell Graduate
Roger Kacou has been appointed Senior Vice President, Africa, of
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. He was most recently part of the executive team of
Blue City Company Oman.
Lausanne graduate
Gérard Hotelier will be moving up to Vice President Operations, Middle East, for
Mövenpick, from his current position of General Manager at the
Mövenpick Geneva, a position he has held for the past seven years.
Jean Claude Wietzel will be the opening General Manager of the
Four Seasons Marrakech, anticipated to open in the first half of 2011. He was most recently the General Manager at the
Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh. Wietzel had previously served as Hotel Manager at the
Four Seasons New York before taking on the same role at the
Four Seasons George V.
The
Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh has appointed
Sébastien Carre to take over for Weitzel as General Manager. Since 2007, he had been at the
Four Seasons Bora Bora as General Manager. He had previously served as Hotel Manager at the
Four Seasons Washington, D.C. and at the
Four Seasons Terre Blanche.
Raffles Dubai has appointed
Peter French General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the complete renovation and repositioning of the
Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong as General Manager. He had previously served as General Manager for the
Sukhothai in Bangkok, the
Carlyle in New York and the
Grosvenor House in London.
Ashraf Naguib has been named General Manager of the
Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Heliopolis. He was most recently the General Manager of the
Radisson Blu Hotel, Alexandria. Previous General Manager posts include the
Radisson SAS Resort Taba, the
Iberotel Club Fanara in Sharm El Sheikh, and the
Iberotel Grand Sharm.
One to One Hotels - the Village has appointed
Ulrike Androff Hotel Manager. She had previously served as Complex Director of Rooms for
Starwood Hotels and Resorts at
Le Méridien Mina Seyahi and the
Westin Dubai. She was most recently the General Manager for
Hospitality Management Holdings in Dubai.
Fuat Koroglu has moved as General Manager to the
Kempinski Nile Hotel in Cairo. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager at the
Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.
Patrick Beaury has been promoted to the position of Hotel Manager, taking over from
Olivier Thomas, at the
Four Seasons Amman. He had previously served as Food and Beverage Director at the
Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza and the
Four Seasons Toronto.
Ersev Demiroz has been promoted to the position of Hotel Manager, joining the
Four Seasons Riyadh, taking over from
Andrew Dartnell who has left the company. Since 2007, Demiroz had served as Director of Rooms with the
Four Seasons Doha.
Wissam Suleiman has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager of the
Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. He had previously served in the same role for the
Kempinski Hotel Aqaba.
The
Chedi Muscat has appointed
Andy Kunz Executive Assistant Manager. He was formerly the Director of Food and Beverage for the
Four Seasons Amman.
Christian Klaus has transferred to the
Four Seasons Beirut as Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from
Greg Kocsis (who is now the Director of Food and Beverage at
Sandy Lane.) Klaus was most recently with the
Four Seasons Chicago in the same role.
Freddie Khoo has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the
Four Seasons Seychelles. He was most recently overseeing food and beverage operations at the
Four Seasons Lodge at Koele. He had previously held food and beverage management positions at the
Four Seasons Singapore, the
Four Seasons Toronto, the
Four Seasons Seattle and the
Four Seasons Nevis.
The
Grand Hyatt Amman has appointed
Rabah Abu Sbaitan to the position of Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently serving as Executive Chef for the hotel.
The
Oberoi Group has appointed
Amrita Bhalla as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. She was most recently the Director, Recruitment and Development, for
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, based in Toronto.
The
Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed
Georges Van Gool as Director of Sales – Corporate, based in Dubai. He had previously held sales positions with the
Radisson SAS Palais in Vienna and the
Holiday Inn Vienna South.
The
Renaissance Dubai Hotel has appointed
Iyad Zakaria Director of Sales and Marketing. He previously served as Director of Sales for the
JW Marriott Dubai and as Senior Sales Manager at the
Doha Marriott.
Cornelia Koebele has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, slated to open in 2011. She had previously held the position of Director of Business Development and Marketing for the
Jumeirah Emirates Towers for four years.
Le Méridien Amman has named
Ziad Fostuq Director of Sales and Marketing. He started off his career in sales at the hotel before moving on to take on such roles as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing with
InterContinental and Director of Sales and Marketing for the
Crowne Plaza Amman.
The
Chedi Muscat has appointed
Simone Broekhaar Director of Sales and Marketing. She was formerly the Director of Revenue and Marketing for
Swissôtel.
The
Conrad Cairo has appointed
Jarrett Beaulieu as its new Executive Chef. He had previously served as Executive Sous Chef at the
Abu Dhabi Hilton and the
Conrad Singapore.
Giancarlo di Francesco has transferred as Executive Chef to the
Four Seasons Doha. For the past four years, he had served in the same position at the
Four Seasons Mumbai. He had previously served as Executive Sous Chef at the
Four Seasons Chinzan-So in Tokyo.
Jamie Hagan takes over from
Rabah Abu Sbaitan as Executive Chef at the
Grand Hyatt Amman. Hagan had previously served in culinary positions for the
Grand Hyatt Istanbul and the
Park Hyatt Istanbul-Macka Palas.
Shadi Suleman has been promoted to Director of Rooms at the
Four Seasons Doha. He joined the hotel in 2008 as Assistant Director of Rooms. He had previously served in rooms management positions at the
Four Seasons Riyadh and at the
Four Seasons Damascus.
The
Pezula Resort has named
Richard Roux Head Sommelier for
Zachary's. He was previously in a similar role for the
One&Only Cape Town and the
Plettenberg Bay Hotel.
