Marriott, Hilton, and IHG account for 69% of the US projects Wednesday, 6th May 2020
According to the United States Construction Pipeline Trend Report from Lodging Econometrics, the franchise companies with the largest construction pipelines at the end of Q1, 2020 are Marriott International, followed by Hilton Worldwide and InterContinental Hotels Group.
Combined, the brands of these three franchise companies comprise 69% of the projects in the total U.S. pipeline. COVID-19 did not have a full impact on first quarter 2020 U.S. results reported by LE. Only the last 30 days of the quarter were affected.
