Sarah Robbins has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of 21c Museum Hotels in Louisville. Robbins, a founding partner, has been with the company since 2005, most recently serving as Chief Hospitality Officer.

Wilson Associates has appointed Beth Campbell Chief Executive Officer. She was most recently the Executive Vice President and Head of Design for Westfield Corporation. Campbell was previously with Gensler for 16 years, serving as Managing Partner in Las Vegas, and Global Account Director in San Francisco.

Danny Hughes has been appointed Executive Vice President and President, Americas, at Hilton Hotels. Since 2014, Hughes had been Senior Vice President and Commercial Director in the Americas for the company.

Cornelia Samara has been named General Manager at the Four Seasons at The Surf Club. She is the former General Manager at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and the Andaz Fifth Avenue.

Ali Mohammed has been promoted to General Manager at the Four Seasons Whistler. He has been with the company for nearly 20 years, most recently as Resort Manager in Whistler.

Robert Watson is now in Dallas as General Manager at the Hilton Anatole. He was most recently in the same role for the Hilton Austin. Watson is the former General Manager of the Hilton Omaha.

Patrick Brophy has been appointed General Manager of the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa. For the past four years, he had served as General Manager at the Omni Severin Hotel.

Sea Island has named Vijay Singh Managing Director of Resort Operations. He was most recently the Vice President of Operations at Salamander Hotels and had previously spent 13 years with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

Todd Orlich has been named Regional Vice President for sbe and General Manager of the Delano Hotel. He is the former General Manager at the Montage Laguna Beach and the Montage Beverly Hills.

Candice Cancino has been named General Manager of the Carmel Mission Inn. She was most recently the General Manager of the King George Hotel in San Francisco.

Anderson Foote has been named General Manager at the Talbott Hotel in Chicago. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Park Hyatt Chicago. Foote is the former Director of Operations at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City.

Alton Chun has been named General Manager at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. He was most recently at the Park Hyatt New York as Hotel Manager. Chun is the former Hotel Manager at the Trump International Hotel and Tower, New York.

Corinne Finn-Heyl has been named General Manager of Blantyre. She was most recently the Director of Rooms at sister property Ocean House and the former General Manager of the White Barn Inn.

Chris Lee is the new General Manager at the InterContinental Century City. He was most recently at the InterContinental Cleveland as Hotel Manager.

Tim Johnson has been appointed General Manager at the Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa. He was most recently the General Manager at the Smith Fork Ranch. Johnson is the former General Manager at the Sorrel River Ranch Hotel & Spa and Resort Manager at the Resort at Paws Up.

Alessandro Stifani has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Amapa in Puerta Vallarta, slated to open early 2019. Most recently, Stifani was with Buenaventura Hotels as General Manager of the Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway.

Chris Hunter has been appointed General Manager at the Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club in Holmes Beach. He was most recently with MGM Hotels & Resorts in Mississippi.

Mark Shouger has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel EMC2 in Chicago. He was most recently Managing Director of the Ronald McDonald House.

Ghee Alexander has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations at Prism Hotels & Resorts. He is the former General Manager of the Doubletree by Hilton Memphis Downtown and the El Conquistador Tucson.

Amber Harkin has been appointed General Manager at the Hilton Tucson East. Since 2014, she had served as General Manager at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Tucson Paloma Village.

James Gibson is the new President and Chief Executive Officer at Garden of the Gods Resort, Club and International Wellness Center. He was most recently with Sea Island as Vice President of Operations.

Stéphane Lacroix has moved to the soon-to-open Proper Hotel Downtown Los Angeles as General Manager. He was most recently with the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage.

Thomas Blundell has been appointed General Manager at the Hyatt Centric Times Square. He was most recently at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor as General Manager.

Pedro Dias has been named General Manager at the W Chicago Lakeshore. He is the former General Manager of the Surrey and the Smyth Tribeca.

Tijs Klerx has been appointed General Manager at the Raleigh Miami Beach, slated to reopen in 2019. Klerx is the former General Manager at the Viceroy Chicago and Director of Sales and Marketing for the W Miami and the Viceroy Miami.

Georg Unseld has joined Kimpton’s Everly Hotel Hollywood as General Manager. He is the former Director of Operations at the Fashion Island Hotel in Newport Beach. Unseld had previously served in similar roles at the Viceroy Sugar Beach in Saint Lucia and Rosewood’s Al Faisaliah Hotel.

Tim Anctil has been promoted to Director of Hotel Operations for Ace Hotels. He was most recently overseeing the Ace Chicago. Anctil is the former General Manager at the Ace Palm Springs and Director of Rooms at the Revere Hotel Boston Common.

The Duniway in Portland has appointed Ryan Kunzer General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Hotel Monaco Portland and the RiverPlace Hotel.

Shannon Schwier is now in New York as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons New York Downtown. She was most recently the Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.

Christian Rehmke has joined the Four Seasons Mexico City as Hotel Manager. He has been with the company for 18 years, most recently as Director of Rooms and Residence Services at the Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Albert Charbonneau has been named Hotel Manager at La Concha Resort in Puerto Rico. He was most recently the Director of Operations at the Condado Vanderbilt.

Geraldine Zaragoza has been named Hotel Manager at Casa Velas Vallarta Hotel Boutique in Puerto Vallarta. She has been with Velas Resorts since 2010, most recently as Director of Groups and Conventions at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit.

Avi Phookan has been named pre-opening Executive Assistant Manager at the Hotel Bennett, slated to open in the fall in Charleston. Phookan is the former Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage
at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C. and the Roosevelt New Orleans.

Anna Rench has been appointed Vice President of Asset Management and Acquisitions at the McNeill Hotel Company. She was most recently the Vice President at Crow Holdings Capital in Dallas.

Tyler Wilson has been named Director of Finance for the Stonewall Resort. He was previously a CPA for Arnett Carbis Toothman LLP of Charleston, West Virginia.

Cindy Wu-Park has been named Director of Finance at RAR Hospitality in San Diego. She was previously the Director of Finance at the US Grant Hotel in San Diego.

Luis Arce has joined the Four Seasons Seattle as Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from Nicolas de Gols. Arce was most recently with the Four Seasons Encantado Santa Fe as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.

Brian Richards is now in San Francisco as Director of Food and Beverage at the Virgin Hotel. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage of MacArthur Place in Sonoma and the Hotel Palomar Phoenix.

Christian Maeder has returned to Four Seasons as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Santa Barbara The Biltmore. He had previously been in food and beverage roles at the Four Seasons New York before taking on his most recent role as Director of Food and Beverage at the Setai Hotel Miami Beach.

Erik Fois has joined the Hyatt Ziva Zilara in Jamaica as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same role at the Caribe Hilton in Puerto Rico.

Megan Humphreys has moved as Executive Director of Food and Beverage 
at the 
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. She was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons
 Las Vegas and the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the 
Four Seasons New York. 


Lucas Chapman is the new Vice President of Operations at Levy Restaurants in Chicago. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Ace Hotel Chicago. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Public Hotel Chicago and General Manager at the Farmhouse Tavern.

Jeff Donnelly has been appointed Vice President of Development of the Dream Hotel Group. He was previously a principal partner and founder of JD Advisors, and with sbe Entertainment.

Tran Dao has moved to the Four Seasons Resort & Residences Napa Valley as pre-opening Director of People and Culture. Dao was most recently the Director of Human Resources at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley and the former Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Four Seasons San Francisco.

Marie-Hélène Bourgeois has been named Director of People and Culture at the Four Seasons Montreal. She was most recently the Regional Director of Human Resources at Rimap Hospitality.

Catherine Whiteside has been appointed Vice President of Marketing Americas for the Radisson Hotel Group. Whiteside was most recently the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Anchor Bank and formerly the Vice President of Marketing at Wells Fargo Bank for ten years.

Allan Tuttle has moved to the W Scottsdale as Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past 11 years, he had served in the same position at the Renaissance Hotel and Spa in Glendale, Arizona.

Nara Azevedo has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing at the Washington Park Hotel in Miami. She was most recently serving the hotel as a Senior Sales Manager.

Felicia Rahm has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Yotel Boston Seaport. Rahm was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Copley Square Hotel.

Jeff Miller has been appointed Corporate Regional Director of Sales at Prism Hotels & Resorts in Dallas. He was previously in sales positions with HEI Hotels & Resorts, TPG Hotels & Resorts and most recently with Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

Sion Edwards has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Fairmont San Francisco. Since 2014, Edwards has served as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa.

Gnell Abracosa was named Vice President of Sales and Marketing 
at Paligroup Management. Abracosa was most recently with Pivot Hotels & Resorts as Corporate Director, Sales.

Greg Velasquez has been named Chief Marketing Officer at the Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles. For the past five years, he had been the Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Velasquez had previously overseen sales and marketing at the Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Phoenix, L’Auberge de Sedona, and the Joule Dallas.

Mario Thompson has been appointed Area Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, and the DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Baltimore Hilton.

Wendy Krueger has joined the Chamberlain Hotel as Director of Sales. She is the former Director of Sales at the Sunset Tower Hotel and the Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel.

Hallie Leitter has been named Director of Sales at the Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club & Bungalows in San Diego. Leitter was previously a Sales Manager for the Westgate Hotel in San Diego and Event Sales Manager for McCormick & Schmick’s.

Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa has named Mark Shine Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Area Director of Sales and Marketing with Quorum Hotels.

Marianna di Franca has been named Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Dominick New York. She was most recently the Director of Event Sales at the InterContinental Miami and had previously served in similar roles with the Andaz New York and the Warwick New York.

Olivier Gaupin has been promoted to Corporate Chef for Loews Hotels. He was most recently serving as Executive Chef at the Loews Atlanta Hotel.

Victor Palma has been named Executive Chef at the Grand Velas Los Cabos. He was most recently the Executive Chef at Rosewood’s CordeValle.

Nigel Boschetti is now in New York as Executive Chef at the Marriott Marquis. He was most recently in the same role at London’s Grosvenor House.

The Montage Laguna Beach has promoted Benjamin Martinek to Chef de Cuisine of Studio. He had been with the resort for the past seven years, most recently as Sous Chef at Studio. Previously, Martinek worked as Chef de Partie at Raya at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel and at Cortez and Jardinière, both in San Francisco.

Jonathan Snyder has returned to the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas as Executive Sous Chef. He had previously served as Executive Chef at Shibuya before moving into Executive Chef roles at Bavettes Las Vegas in the
 Monte Carlo Resort & Casino and at the 
New York-New York Hotel & Casino.

World-renowned marketing wizard Michael Matthews has died. A true global Hotelier, he held the top Sales and Marketing positions with Hilton International, Regent International, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood and St. Regis.

Chef Andrew Lance Pedroza passed away peacefully on Sunday. Pedroza was an honors graduate at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Pasadena and most recently had served as Executive Chef at Bella Victorian Winery and Bella East in Camarillo.

EUROPE

Laurent Maes has been appointed Senior Vice President of Group Controlling and Business Planning for Radisson Hospitality in Brussels. He had spent the past 16 years in finance and control for Johnson & Johnson.

Stuart Johnson has returned as Managing Director to Brown’s Hotel in London. Johnson had previously served as General Manager at the hotel for 11 years before taking on the role as Project Manager for parent company Rocco Forte Hotels.

Kumar Mishra has moved as General Manager to the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester. He was most recently in the same position at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire.

The Hard Rock Hotel London, slated to open in early 2019, has appointed Robert Catlin as pre-opening Hotel Manager. He is the former Director of Operations at the Sharm El Sheikh Marriott Resort and Director of Food and Beverage at the Dubai Marriott Hotel and the Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf.

York Brandes has been appointed General Manager at the Parklane Resort & Spa in Cyprus. He is the former Vice President of Operations at General Hotel Management in Singapore.

Eveline Noort has been appointed General Manager of the Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, replacing Jan-Paul Kroese. Noort was most recently overseeing Le Méridien Piccadilly London.

Paul Shanahan has joined the Vineyard Hotel in Stockcross, Berkshire, as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing Gidleigh Park.

Simon Franks is the new General Manager at Gidleigh Park, taking over from Paul Shanahan. Franks was most recently at Buckland Manor in Worcestershire as General Manager.

Isabelle Von Burg has been named Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva. She was most recently the Director of Operations for both the Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert and the Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach.

Jeremy Whitworth has been promoted to Deputy General Manager at the Montagu Arms Hotel in Hampshire. He was most recently serving the hotel as Assistant Manager.

André Cheminade has been appointed Director of Operations at the Beau-Rivage Geneva. He is the former General Manager at the Royal Manotel and the Hermitage Hotel St. Petersburg.

Nicolas de Gols has returned to the Four Seasons George V to take on the role of Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served the hotel as Director of Banqueting before moving on to the Beverly Wilshire as Restaurant Manager at BLVD and then as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Seattle.

Dominique van Wezop has joined the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Stockholm to oversee food and beverage. Van Wezop was most recently Operations Manager at the Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Newlands.

Anene Engelbrecht has been named Financial Controller at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Stockholm. She was most recently the Cluster Financial Controller for the Radisson Blu Le Vendome and Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Newlands.

The Four Seasons Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat has named Filippo Fiocchi Food and Beverage Manager. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Hampshire.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Marcel Oostenbrink has been promoted to General Manager at the Four Seasons Seychelles at Mahe. He was most recently serving as Resort Manager.

Eric Swanson has joined the InterContinental Pyeongchang as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Millenium Seoul Hilton. Swanson is the former General Manager of the Marco Polo Parkside Hotel in Beijing and the Leela Palace Kempinski Hotel.

Paolo Campillo has been appointed General Manager of the Parkroyal on Kitchener Road in Singapore. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour.

Julian Wipper has been appointed General Manager at the Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore. Most recently, he was the Hotel Manager at the Kowloon Shangri-La.

Bert Goebel has been named General Manager at the Robinson Club Maldives. He was previously in various roles for Viking Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Celebrity Cruise Line, and Holland America.

The Four Seasons Guangzhou has named Wayne Tan Hotel Manager. He was most recently in the same role at the Four Seasons Hangzhou at West Lake.

Gianni Costa has been named Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Bali at Sayan. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Regent Singapore. Costa is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Four Seasons Hong Kong.

Nicholas Wong has been named Director of Operations at the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Changfeng Park. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou.

Romain Gissot has moved to the Rosewood Hong Kong as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position at the
 Rosewood Hotel Phnom Penh.

Mark Hibbett has been named pre-opening Director of Food and Beverage at the Raffles Maldives. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Six Senses Laamu.

Summer Wang has joined the Four Seasons Pudong, Shanghai as Director of Marketing. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Four Seasons Hangzhou at West Lake.

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has appointed Claudine Triolo to the role of Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Thailand, Bhutan and Cambodia, based in Bangkok. She was most recently in a similar role with Premier Resorts & Hotels, also based in Bangkok.

Jamie Choi has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk.

Sophie Couturier has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Shinta Mani Hotel Group in Cambodia. She was most recently Group Head of Sales at Samadhi Retreats in Kuala Lumpur.

Rebecca Gollan has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa in Australia. She was most recently a National Sales Manager for Meriton in Australia.

Giancarlo di Francesco has been appointed Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Guangzhou. He is the former Executive Chef of the Four Seasons Doha and the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi.

Philippe Baretaud has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at the Mantis Group in Johannesburg. He is the former Senior Vice President and Head of Development Africa & Indian Ocean at AccorHotels.

Jeroen Elmendorp has been named General Manager
 at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai. He is the former General Manager
 at the Address Fountain Views and the Address Dubai Marina.

Nick Solomon has been named Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Seychelles at Desroches Island. He was most recently the Resort Manager at the One&Only Resort Cape Town.

The Four Seasons Johannesburg has named Britta Krug Senior Director of Marketing. She was most recently Cluster Director of Marketing for Hilton Hotels in the Seychelles Islands.

Ricardo Gomes has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi. He was most recently Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for InterContinental Hotel Group in Portugal.

The Four Seasons Dubai Jumeirah has named Federico Giovine Director of Room. He was most recently in the same role at the Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon.
