Kerzner has appointed Mark Decocinis Chief Operating Officer for One&Only Resorts. He was most recently with Shangri-La Hotels as Executive Vice President. He was previously with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for over two decades, most recently as Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific.

Claudia Kozma Kaplan is the latest to capitalize on over twenty years of marketing and public relations in the luxury hospitality field and translate it into the world of luxury goods: she has become the Head of Marketing and Communications Worldwide for Gucci, following ten years with The Leading Hotels of the World.

Paul Scott has been appointed Complex General Manager at Hilton New Orleans Riverside and the DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans. He was most recently at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel in Orlando as General Manager.

Michael Sullivan has been named Vice President Strategic Planning for the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. He was most recently Managing Director, Head of Hospitality at Gemini Real Estate Advisors.

Michael Evans has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of MGM Hospitality. He joined the company in 2008 and was most recently the Executive Vice President of Global Development. He had previously spent ten years with Marriott International.

Luis Fernandes is now in the Bahamas at the Rosewood Baha Mar as Managing Director. He was most recently in Lisbon as President and Chief Executive Officer at Last Resorts. He was previously with the Viceroy Hotel Group, Ty Warner Hotels and Resorts and is the former Managing Director at Las Ventanas al Paraiso.

Ed Linsley has been appointed Managing Director at Rosewood Little Dix Bay. He was most recently in Bali with the Ayana Resort and Spa as General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Nam Hai in Vietnam, and had previously served with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for 21 years.

Jan Goessing takes over from Richard Baker as Executive Vice President, Operations Director ­ The Americas at Mandarin Oriental. Goessing was most recently the Area Vice President and General Manager of Mandarin Oriental New York. He joined the group in 1994 as Hotel Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.

Bart Stone has been appointed Group Director of Residences at Mandarin Oriental taking over from Susanne Hatje. Stone was most recently the group's Vice President and Legal Counsel, The Americas.

Wendy Hansen has been promoted to Vice President and Legal Counsel, The Americas at Mandarin Oriental based in Atlanta taking over from Bart Stone. She was most recently the Legal Counsel, The Americas for the group.

Susanne Hatje moves into Jan Goessings role as General Manager at the Mandarin Oriental New York. She has been with the company since 2000 most recently as Group Director of Residences. She is the former General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Boston, and the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.

Simon Pettigrew has been appointed Vice President of Operations for the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, following a 27-year career with Four Seasons. His most recent posting with the company was as General Manager of the Four Seasons Miami. His first General Manager job with Four Seasons was at the Four Seasons Vancouver.

Dan Normandin is the new General Manager of the Four Seasons Miami, taking over from Simon Pettigrew. A Canadian, Normandin was the General Manager of the Four Seasons Atlanta since 2008. Prior to that, he was the Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons San Francisco.

Joseph Dantoni has been named General Manager of Pier House Resort & Spa in Key West. He had previously overseen the Melrose Georgetown Hotel through a major renovation and reconcepting process. He is the former General Manager of the Historic Inns of Annapolis, and the Lodge at Woodloch.

Hugo Lecanda has been named General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Cancún. For the past two years he had served as Hotel Manager for the JW Marriott Quito in Ecuador.

Juan Pineyro has moved to Mexico as General Manager at the Westin Santa Fe in Mexico City. He was most recently with the W Santiago as Director of Operations. He had previously served in food and beverage roles for the Sheraton Santiago and San Cristobal Tower, Le Méridien Ra, and the Westin Cancún.

The Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa has named Howard Jacobs General Manager. He was most recently in Albuquerque overseeing the Hotel Andaluz. He is the former President of the Provenance Hotels.

Kelly Vohs has joined the Boca Raton Resort and Club as General Manager. Vohs is the former Vice President of Operations for BR Guest in New York.

Martin Nicholson has returned to Pasadena to take over as General Manager for the Dusitd2 scheduled to open in 2014. He is the former General Manager at Encantado Resort, after serving five years as Managing Director at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.

James Horsman has joined the Landsdowne Resort as General Manager. He was most recently the Managing Director for the Madison in Washington, D.C. He is the former Managing Director for Destination Hotels & Resorts of the InterContinental Tampa, and Stowe Mountain Lodge.

Nico Halwass is now in West Hollywood as General Manager at Petit Ermitage. For the past year, he had been Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons London, Canary Wharf. He is the former General Manager at the former Hotel Victor (now the Thompson Ocean Drive) in South Beach.

Deanne Gabel has been appointed General Manager of the Alfond Inn scheduled to open in Winter Park, Florida in August. She was most recently serving a Senior Vice President with Wyndham, and is the former General Manager of the Disney Yacht Club Resort and the Disney Beach Club Resort.

Tim Johnson is now in Utah as General Manager at Sorrel River Ranch. For the past two years he had served as Resort Manager at the Resort at Paws Up in Montana. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Tides Inn in Virginia.

Marc Guastella has joined the MGM Grand Detroit as Vice President Hotel and Restaurant Operations. He was most recently Director of Food and Beverage at the Hollywood Casino in Toledo.

Drew Schlesinger has joined the Seminole Gaming Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Fort Lauderdale as Vice President Hotel Operations, replacing Christian Mari. Schlesinger was most recently at the Warwick in New York as General Manager.

The Pearl has named Michael Votta General Manager. He is the former Associate Vice President of the Hawaii Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Director of Resort Sales at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista. Most recently, Votta was Director of Sales, Corporate and Association at Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

Gerard Denneny has joined the Viceroy New York as General Manager. He is the former Manager of the (former) Jumeirah Essex House.

Kenneth Widmaier has been named Chief Operating Officer for Sage Hospitality. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Operations for Destination Hotels & Resorts, and previously spent 15 years with Marriott Hotels & Resorts.

Anna MacDiarmid has been appointed General Manager at the W New York Midtown. She was most recently the opening General Manager at the W Hoboken Hotel & Residences. She is the former General Manager of the W Times Square.

Marco Ortlam has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Cancún. He has been with the resort since 2010 initially joining as Director of Meetings and Special Events before moving up last year to Director of Operations.

Matthew Thomas has joined the Standard, East Village as Hotel Manager. For the past three years he had been with the Mandarin-Oriental Boston as Resident Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Excelsior Hong Kong and Food and Beverage Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

Reggie Dominique has been named Hotel Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles. He has been with the company since 1994, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco.

Roberto Marchetto has been promoted to Executive Assistant Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta. He was most recently serving as the hotel Director of Rooms. He had previously served in rooms positions at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C., the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, and the Four Seasons Westlake Village.

Cindy Crater has been named Director of Hospitality for the Pestoni Family: Rutherford Grove Winery, Hotel D'Amici and D'Amici Restaurant. She was most recently the General Manager of Michael Chiarello's NapaStyle flagship store in Yountville.

Delta Hotels and Resorts has named Yu Jin Vice President, Technology and Chief Information Officer.  She was most recently with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as Vice President of Information Technology.

Beth Gearing has joined Delta Hotels and Resorts as Vice President, Legal. Gearing was most recently a partner of Blakes in Toronto.

Marianne Duguay has been appointed Vice President, Asset Management at Delta Hotels and Resorts. For the past year she was with Fairmont Raffles Hotels as Executive Director Hotel Analysis. 

Host Hotels & Resorts has promoted Gregory Larson to Chief Financial Officer. Larson has been with Host since 1993, most recently as Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy.

Richard Eisenring has moved to the Viceroy New York as Director of Engineering. For the past four years he had served as Chief Engineer at the Trump Soho.

Adam Martindale is now in San Diego at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position at Bacara Resort and Spa outside of Santa Barbara. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort, and for Norwegian Cruise Line.

The Heathman Hotel has named Shawn Lee Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Operations at Parlor Collections.

Aaron Stiles has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Barnsley Resort near Atlanta. He was most recently in the same position for Rosewood's Mansion on Peachtree. Stiles had previously served in food and beverage posts with the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, and the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.

Michael Ploetz has joined Michael Voltaggio's Ink as Director of Operations. He was most recently at Solage Calistoga as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former General Manager for José Andrés at Jaleo and é in the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. He had previously overseen The Bazaar in the SLS at Beverly Hills.

Margaret Rafferty has joined the Viceroy New York as Director of Human Resources. She was most recently in a similar role for Grand Hotels. She is the former Human Resources Manager at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

Dustin Guzmán has joined cupcake company Sprinkles in Los Angeles as Vice President of Talent. He had previously served in human resources posts with Starr Restaurants, and McCormick and Schmick's.

The Ritz-Carlton Phoenix has named Joe Wronski Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past eight years he had served in a similar role for the Omni Houston.

Charles McKee has been named Vice President, Marketing at Delta Hotels and Resorts.  McKee was most recently the Vice President, International at the Canadian Tourism Commission.  He is the former Vice President, Marketing for Air Canada.

The Alfond Inn has named Debbie Potter Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently in a similar role at the Villas of Grand Cypress.

The Barnsley Resort has added Shelby Taylor as Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Since 2002 she had served as Director of Public Relations for the Four Seasons Westlake Village. She is the former Director of Public Relations for the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.

Shelby Schuler has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Pearl. She was most recently the Group Sales Manager at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and Regional Sales Manager at the Sandestin Hilton.

Todd Gehrke has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Hotel Madeline Telluride. For the past three years he had served as Director of Group and Conference Solutions at the Telluride Tourism Board.

Gary Collins has been named Director of Sales at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel and Spa. 

Barry Anderson has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers. He had previously served in sales and marketing posts with Benchmark Hospitality, Ginn Resorts and the Peabody Orlando.

Kathleen DeVitto has been named Director of Sales at Eagle Mountain House in New Hampshire. She was most recently a Sales Manager for the Wentworth Inn in Jackson Village.

The Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. has named Tiffany McCormick Senior Sales Manager. Previously, she was Group Sales Manager at the Four Seasons Vail.

Mark Young has been appointed Director of Catering and Conference Services at Turnberry Isle Miami. He was most recently the Director of Catering and Conference Services for the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach. Young held similar positions at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa and Peter Island.

The Fisher Island Club has named Christian Sarquis Director of Catering. He was most recently in the same post for the Grove Isle Hotel and Spa. He had previously managed catering and conference services for the Gansevoort South Hotel, the Trump International Beach Resort, and the Palms Hotel South Beach.

Jane McLean has been named Wedding Specialist and Director of Social Catering at the Alfond Inn. She was most recently with the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek as Director of Social Events.

Amy Walsh has been appointed Director of Catering and Conference Services at Silverado Resort and Spa. She is the former Director of Catering and Conference Services for the Riviera Palm Springs.

Ashley McBain has been promoted to Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Kerzner. She was most recently serving as Vice President, Public Relations for Atlantis, The Palm.

Jordan Mackey has been named Executive Chef for the Hotel Contessa in San Antonio. He had previously served as Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director for the River Terrace Inn and Restaurant Cuvée in Napa.

Paul Piscopo has been named Executive Chef for the St. Regis San Francisco. The CIA graduate was most recently Executive Chef with the W San Francisco. He had previously served in culinary positions for Aqua in San Francisco, Oliveto in Oakland, and Charles Nob Hill. 

Laguna Beach's Surf & Sand Resort has appointed David Fuñe Executive Chef. He was most recently at the Temecula Creek Inn as Executive Chef.

J. Christopher Windus has been named Executive Chef of Hamilton's Kitchen at the Alfond Inn. He was most recently Executive Chef of Todd English's bluezoo at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel.

Michael Guerra has joined the Pearl as Executive Chef. He had previously held culinary posts with the St. Regis Deer Crest and the Montage Deer Valley.

Lausanne educated Georgette Farkas, who has been the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Daniel Boulud's Dinex group for nearly two decades, will leave the company at the end of August to open her own restaurant. Her Upper East Side Rotisserie will have David Malbequi as its Chef. Malbequi, who had been the opening Chef at La Silhouette, also served as Chef de Cuisine at The Standard and at BLT Market. He too is a former Daniel staffer.

Jean Pierre Lauret has been named General Manager for Michel Richard Restaurants in the New York Palace Hotel. He is the former General Manager for Orsay, and the Food and Beverage Director at the Marriott Champs-Elysees.

Erwan Ehanno is the new owner of Far Niente in Glendale. He is the former General Manager at Kendall's Brasserie, and Zucca Ristorante for the Patina Restaurant Group.

Spencer Weiss has joined Press in St. Helena as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing Rouge Tomate in New York.

The Pearl has named Sara Reese Director of Restaurants. Most recently, Reese was the General Manager at Restaurant Paradis in Rosemary Beach, Florida.

Marco Pacelli has joined Rosewood Sand Hill as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently with the Resort at Pelican Hill as General Manager of Andrea Restaurant and Bar. He had previously served in food and beverage roles at the Four Seasons St. Louis, and the Beverly Wilshire.

James Gustafson has been named Director of Rooms at the Alfond Inn. He had previously served in various roles at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

EUROPE

Robert Riley has joined SKB Hotel Group as President and Chief Executive Officer. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Médéric Fauchille has joined the Hotel Balthazar in France as General Manager. Fauchille was most recently overseeing the Palais Faraj Suites and Spa in Morocco as General Manager.

Vincent O'Gorman has been appointed General Manager at the Westbury Hotel in Dublin. He is the former General Manager of the Kensington Hotel in London.

Pascal Leprou is now in Moscow as General Manager at the Kempinski Niskolskaya. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the Mövenpick Hotel Paris Neuilly. He was previously the Area Manager Morocco and Tunisia for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He is the former General Manager of Le Méridien Nice, the Hotel Columbus, and the Hotel Mirabeau in Monte Carlo.

Fabien Piacentino is now in Provence as General Manager at Le Couvent des Minimes Par L'Occitane taking over from Vincenzo Iaconnis. He was most recently the General Manager of the Dream Castle.

Stephen Fewell has been appointed General Manager at Swissôtel Kamelia and Swissôtel Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi, Russian. He was most recently the General Manager at the Swissôtel Kunshan. He is the former General Manager at Argyle International Hotel, Shanghai and the Sofitel Suzhou.

Bjorn van der Horst has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at Rosewood London scheduled to open in October. The former owner of London's Eastside Inn was most recently Group Chef and Director of Food and Beverage for Soneva Fushi by Six Senses in the Maldives.

Sanjeev Shukla is the pre-opening Director of Sales and Marketing of the future Four Seasons Moscow. He joined Four Seasons in October 2009 as Director of Marketing in Mumbai. Prior to that, he was with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Mumbai as a Sales Executive. He also served as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Leela Goa. In 2007, he accepted a position of General Manager - Sales and Marketing with The Claridges Hotels & Resorts.

Irene Hoek has been appointed Head of Global Development at the Dorchester Collection in London. She is the former Vice President Development for InterContinental, most recently in London.

Paul Malcolm has been appointed Head of Sales for Europe at Hilton Worldwide based in the UK. He had spent the past 30 years with Marriott International in various roles.

Seaham Hall has named Martin Blunos Executive Chef for Ozone and the new Blunos Seafood Grill. He is the former Executive Chef for Lettonie in Bath.

Ross Grieve has been appointed General Manager Seaham Hall overseeing Ozone and Blunos Seafood Grill. He had spent the past ten years at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel.

Pierre Alexandre Francin has joined the Raffles Royal Monceau in Paris as Assistant General Manager. He was previously with Geneva-based Groupe des Hotels La Réserve as Director of Marketing and Business Development. He is the former General Manager at Le Couvent des Minimes in Provence.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Christoph Mares has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Operations Director ­ EMEA and India for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. He is the former Operations Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa for the group after serving as Chief Operating Officer for Emaar Hospitality, based in Dubai. Mares previously served as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

Richard Baker has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Operations Director ­ Asia at Mandarin Oriental taking over from Andrew Hirst who is retiring. Baker has been with the company since 2006 most recently as Executive Vice President, Operations Director ­ The Americas.

Katie Benson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Langham Hospitality Investments in Hong Kong. She was most recently the Regional Vice President of the Americas and the Caribbean for the Langham Hospitality Group. She is the former General Manager for the Langham London, and the Langham Melbourne.

Vincent Hoogewijs, General Manager of the Four Seasons Sydney since January 2011, takes a similar post at the Four Seasons Bangkok.

Jean Claude Wietzel takes over from Thomas Steinhauer as the new General Manager of the Four Seasons Maui. Wietzel joined Four Seasons in 2002, as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons New York. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Marrakech as opening General Manager.

Nic O'Connell graduates to his first General Manager position at the Shangri-La Cairns the Marina. He comes from other Shangri-La properties in Malaysia and China where he held Resident Manager and Executive Assistant Manager titles.

Alain Mahillon, who had been the face and soul of the Singapore Hilton for over twenty years, is retiring. His successor is Peter Webster, of late the General Manager of the Hilton Petaling Jaya, after a stint as General Manager of the Hilton at Short Hills.

The Langham, Hong Kong has appointed Bob van den Oord Managing Director replacing Duncan Palmer who is now the Managing Director of the Langham London. Van den Oord will continue his role as Vice President of Brands for Langham Hospitality Group.

Ivan Casadevall has been named General Manager for the Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort. He was most recently with Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas based in Bangkok, after a four-year tenure as General Manager of the Anantara Seminyak, Bali.

Alejandro Bernabe has joined the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.

Antoine Melon has been promoted at Trisara in Phuket to General Manager. He joined the resort in 2011 as Resort Manager. He is the former Resident Manager in the Maldives for the Six Senses Laamu Resort, and Director of Food and Beverage for the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.

Daniel Fueglister has been appointed General Manager at the Swissôtel Kunshan taking over from Stephen Fewell. He was most recently in Australia as General Manager at the Swissôtel Sydney. He is the former General Manager at Swissôtel Le Plaza, Basel, and the See & Park Hotel Feldbach.

After three years as General Manager of the Shangri-La Vienna, Erich Kaiserseder is called back to Asia to manage the Shangri-La Far Eastern Plaza in Tainan.  He had previously served as General Manager of the Shangri-La Doha.

Blair Roxborough has been appointed General Manager at the InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto taking over from Joerg Boeckeler. Roxborough adds this to his current role as Area General Manager for IHG. He is the former General Manager at the Parkroyal Perth, and the Crowne Plaza Christchurch.

The Raffles Singapore has appointed Christian Westbeld Hotel Manager. He was most recently the Resident Manager at Raffles Beijing.

Akihiro Ichikawa returns to Four Seasons as Director of Sales and Marketing at Four Seasons Tokyo Marunouchi after several years with Okura Hotels and two years with the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. He originally joined Four Seasons in April 2005 at Chinzan-so, where he spent three years, eventually as Director of Marketing. From September, 2009 until September, 2011, he was Director of Sales and Marketing at the Four Seasons Hangzhou.

Lausanne graduate Alexandre Mathais has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Beijing. He was the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage during the hotel's pre-opening phase, following four years as Director of Catering Sales and Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Shanghai.

Reza Jafari has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage, Four Seasons Pudong, Shanghai. An Englishman, he joined Four Seasons as Restaurant Manager at the Four Seasons Bangkok in 2006 and was promoted to Director of Restaurants at the Regent of Singapore in 2009. In 2011, he became Assistant Food and Beverage Director's in Pudong.

The Hilton Waikoloa Village has named Michael Dean Director of Property Operations. He was most recently the Director of Property Operations at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.

Mark Simmons has been appointed Vice President Sales and Marketing, Asia-Pacific at Outrigger Asia-Pacific based in Phuket. He was the former Vice President Sales and Marketing for SilverNeedle Hospitality, based in Singapore.

Komson Sevatasai has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Regent Phuket Cape Panwa. He is the former Regional Director of Marketing for Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, Thailand, and had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Banyan Tree Samui.

Liana Mulleitner has been appointed Director of Marketing at Hotels and Resorts of Halekulani in Honolulu. She most recently served as Director of Residences and Public Relations at the Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach.

Eren Guryel has been appointed Executive Chef at Four Seasons Resort Lanai, The Lodge at Koele. He was most recently at the Four Seasons Shanghai as Executive Sous Chef.

Oscar Gonzalez has been appointed Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Mumbai. He returns to India as he previously spent two years with Taj Hotels in Bangalore. He started as Chef de Cuisine of Artisans at the Ritz-Carlton Naples in October 2005. Prior to his return to India, he was the Executive Sous Chef at the Beverly Wilshire.

Sandeep Pande has joined the Renaissance Marriott Mumbai as Executive Chef. He had previously served as Executive Chef in India with Oberoi, Starwood and Hilton.

Yusuf Yaran has been transferred to the Shangri-La Jakarta as Executive Sous Chef. He was most recently at the Pudong Shangri-La Towers in Shanghai in the same position. Yaran had previously held culinary positions at the Makati Shangri-La Manila, the ÇiraÄŸan Palace Kempinski Bosphorus, the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul and the Four Seasons Sultanahmet.

Sophie Brosse has joined Le Méridien Bora Bora as Deputy General Manager. She had previously held various roles with Ledunfly, and the Alpes Hotel du Pralong.

Ahmed Khalaf has been appointed General Manager of the Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stefano. He previously spent two years as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Doha.

Shadi Suleman was promoted to Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Doha, taking over from Ahmed Khalaf. In 2002, he joined the Four Seasons Riyadh as Night Manager and then returned home for the opening of the Four Seasons Damascus as Front Office Manager. He started in Doha as Assistant Director of Rooms in 2008, promoted to Director of Rooms in 2010.

Jason Rodgers has been promoted to Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Doha. An Australian, Rodgers helped launch the Four Seasons Hampshire as Front Office Manager and later Assistant Director of Rooms. He spent the past five years as Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Mauritius, a property he opened.

Vincent Mercurio is now in Dubai as General Manager with Address Hotels and Resorts. He was most recently with the Conrad Bangkok as General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the London West Hollywood.

Konstantin Zeuke has been appointed General Manager at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai taking over from Alejandro Bernabe. He had previously been overseeing the Kempinski Hotel River Park Bratislava.

Roger Tannous has been named General Manager for the Marjan Island Resort & Spa in Ras al Khaimah. Most recently, he served as an Area General Manager for Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. 

Gerhard Hecker takes over from Bernhard Haechler as General Manager of the Shangri-La Dubai. He comes from the Shangri-La Jakarta, where he had been the General Manager since February 2010.

Chris Jung is now in Doha as General Manager for the InterContinental Doha The City and the InterContinental Residence Suites Doha The City. He is the former General Manager for the InterContinental Taba Heights Resort in Egypt, and Hotel Manager for the InterContinental Berlin.

Prashant Sharma has been appointed Resort Manager at Mövenpick Beach Resort Alkhobar in Saudi Arabia. He is the former Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing at Le Méridien Alkhobar.

Remy Cadiere has joined the Hyatt Regency Kilimanjaro in Tanzania as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He was most recently at the Hyatt Regency Vladivostok in Russia. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel Polana Serena in Mozambique, and the InterContinental Nairobi.

Royal Palm Marrakech Hotel Resort Golf and Spa has named Philippe Jourdin as Executive Chef. Philippe was Executive Chef at the Pigonnet Hotel in Aix en Provence.

Barbara Marie is now in Dubai as General Manager at Qbara Restaurant, Bar and Lounge. She was most recently with One&Only Palmilla overseeing Market by Jean-Georges.

Naima Ibtihaj has been named Rooms Director at the Royal Palm Marrakech Hotel Resort Golf and Spa. Naima is the former Director Front of the House at the Ritz-Carlton Doha.

The Royal Palm Marrakech Hotel Resort Golf and Spa has appointed Sophie Demaret as Spa Director. Sophie comes from Prince Hotel and Spa in Mauritius where she held the same position.

Marc Tauch is the new Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Marrakech. He worked under Bruno Cirino at the Royal Monceau and the Vernet. From 1998 to 1999 he was the Chef of L'Orangeraie and L'Imperial restaurants at La Mamounia and spent the past two years as Executive Chef at a luxury riad in the Palmeraie. He takes over from Christophe Gilino.
