Jim Oliver has returned to the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans to take over from Russell Miller as General Manager. Oliver previously served the hotel as Executive Assistant Manager and Hotel Manager. Most recently, he was overseeing the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale.

Lloyd Daser is the new General Manager of Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre and Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside, taking over from Jim Douglas. Daser was most recently in Kuala Lumpur as General Manager of the Parkroyal and Area Vice President for Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts. He is the former General Manager at the Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore and the Pan Pacific Seattle.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel has appointed Fred Sawyers General Manager. Most recently, he served as complex General Manager for the Hilton New Orleans Riverside and Doubletree by Hilton New Orleans. 

Peter Walterspiel is now in New York at the Warwick as General Manager. He was most recently with the PUBLIC Chicago as General Manager. He is the former Area Managing Director for Richfield Hospitality and General Manager for the Sheraton Universal City. At the Warwick, he takes over from Drew Schlesinger, who was there briefly and had taken over from David Cohen, Sam Kapadia and Wanda Chan.

Roger Huldi has returned to the W San Francisco to take on the role of General Manager. He had previously served as Director of Operations for three years, before becoming the General Manager of W Silicon Valley in 2007. 

Ramon Serrano is now in Colorado as General Manager of Dunton Hot Springs. For the past three years, he had been with the Hotel Les Mars in Healdsburg as Manager. He is the former Assistant General Manager at the Horned Dorset Primavera in Puerto Rico.

Jim McPartlin has joined the soon-to-reopen Loews Regency in New York as General Manager, taking over from long-time General Manager Stewart Schwartz, who moves up to the Loews Corporate Office. McPartlin is the former General Manager of the W New York, the W Hollywood and the Gramercy Park Hotel.

Susan Mason has been promoted to Vice President, Franchise Operations, Radisson, for the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in Minneapolis. She joined the company in 1985 and most recently served as Senior Regional Director, Radisson.

David Craig has been appointed General Manager at the C Lazy U Guest Ranch in Colorado. He was most recently Senior Vice President for Inspirato and is the former General Manager of Denver's Hotel Teatro.

La Quinta Resort has named Paul Cherrett Managing Director. He had previously served as Senior Vice President of Hospitality for Talisker Mountain in Park City and the Aspen Skiing Company. He is the former General Manager for the Four Seasons Jackson Hole and the Four Seasons Austin. At La Quinta, he takes over from Gary Sims.

Marco Menzhausen has been appointed General Manager for the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Most recently, he served as Resort Manager at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa. He is the former Resort Manager at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.

Neisja Jones has been promoted to General Manager at the Mainsail Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Tampa. For the past eleven years, she had served as the hotel's Director of Sales.

The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa has named Tim Freisen General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit. He is the former General Manager of the Westin Chicago River North, the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers and the Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport Hotel.

The now Hyatt-run Driskill in Austin has named Scott Mason General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. Mason is the former General Manager of the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, the Park Hyatt Chicago and the Stanhope Park Hyatt New York.

Juan Piñeyro has been appointed General Manager of the Westin Santa Fe, Mexico City. For the past two years, he had served as Director of Operations at the W Santiago. He is the former Complex Director of Food and Beverage for the Westin Cancun and Sheraton Cancun.

The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has promoted Todd Folbrecht to Vice President, Development, Americas. He has been with the company since 1999, most recently serving as Senior Director, Business Development.

Nicole Sinclair has joined Club Quarters in New York as Operations and Guest Services Manager. She is the former Associate Director of Sales Recruitment for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. She had previously served as Hotel Manager at the St. Regis Bora Bora.

Michael Sanders has been appointed General Manager at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel. He was most recently overseeing the Hilton San Antonio Airport.

John Klukan has been named General Manager of the Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel. He replaces Bob Jameson, who left in January to become President and CEO of the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau. Klukan was most recently the General Manager at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana.

Scott Gold has joined the Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach as General Manager. He is the former Director of Rooms for the SLS at Beverly Hills and the Loews Santa Monica.

Eddie Llambias has been named Vice President and General Manager of Bally's Casino in Tunica. He was most recently at Atlantic City's Trump Plaza as General Manager.

Laurent Boisdron has joined the Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago as Director of Operations. He was most recently in Rhode Island as General Manager for Forty 1° North, Marina Resort Hotel. He is the former Director of Operations at the Sofitel Miami and Director of Food and Beverage for the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach.

Shane Mcweeny has been promoted to Director of Operations for the Hotel Commonwealth. He joined the Boston hotel in 2010 as Rooms Division Manager. He had previously overseen front office operations at the Ritz-Carlton Boston.

Jackson Cherry has been named Manager of Hotel Operations for the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Most recently, he was General Manager of Callaway Gardens in Georgia.

Dan McKeon has been appointed Resident Manager of the JW Marriott Washington, D.C. He was most recently serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Marriott International.

Christopher Garcia has joined the Omni Providence as Director of Operations. For the past four years, he had served as Director of Rooms at the Omni Los Angeles.

Mark Hays has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Destination Hotels & Resorts. He joined the company in 2005 as Director of Finance at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in Colorado before being promoted to the role of Vice President, Regional Controller, in the Destination corporate office. Most recently, he has served as Corporate Controller.

Bruce Reidenbacher has been named Director of Finance at the Luxe City Center Hotel. He is the former Controller for the Shorebreak Hotel and the Hilton Ontario Airport.

Benjamin Moore has been appointed Controller at the Hyatt North Houston. He was most recently the Director of Finance for the Hotel Icon.

Bryan O'Shields has returned to Las Vegas to take on the role of Vice President of Food and Beverage for Caesars Palace and Rio Hotel Casino. He was previously the Corporate Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage at Fontainebleau Resorts Las Vegas before taking on his most recent post as Corporate Vice President of Food and Beverage for KSL Resorts.

Kerem Kendigelen has been named General Manager at Adour by Alain Ducasse and Director of Food and Beverage Outlets for the St. Regis Washington, D.C. He is the former Director of Restaurants for the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City. He had previously served in food and beverage roles at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay and the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta.

Emmanuel Cornet is now Director of Food and Beverage for the Bellagio. He was most recently with Joël Robuchon Restaurants and is the former General Manager at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon in the MGM Grand. He had previously spent six years with the Four Seasons Austin in various food and beverage roles.

Cédric Sordillon has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Radisson Blu Resort, Marina & Spa St. Martin. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Grand Hotel du Lagon on Réunion Island for Naiade Resorts. Sordillon had previously overseen food and beverage for the Miramar Crouesty Hotel, the Thalasso & Spa Brittany and Es Saadi Garden & Resort in Marrakech.

Jim Barnett has joined the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently overseeing all food and beverage operations for Detroit's Westin Book Cadillac. He is the former Executive Chef at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.

Matthias Layton has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe. He was most recently serving as Director of Restaurants after joining the resort as a Banquet Manager.

Romuald Toulon has joined 24 Hubert in New York as Managing Partner. For the past year, he had served as Consultant with RT Wine Solutions. He is the former Wine Director for Meadowood and the Four Seasons San Francisco.

The Hyatt North Houston has appointed Jayne Murad Director of Human Resources. She had previously been with the Sheraton North Houston as Director of Human Resources.

Stephanie Linnartz has been named Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer at Marriott International. She has been with the company since 1997 and most recently served as Global Officer, Sales and Revenue Management.

The Four Seasons St. Louis has named Tim Powers Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently with the Ritz-Carlton Chicago as Director of Sales. Powers had previously served in various sales positions with the Four Seasons Dallas and is the former Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Whistler.

Michael Bridges has moved to the Viceroy New York as Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past three years, he had been in the same role for the Mondrian Soho. He had previously served in sales and marketing positions for Thompson Hotels at the Smyth Tribeca and Gild Hall.

Elaine Morena has joined the Surrey in New York as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently serving as Director of Sales at the Four Seasons New York. Morena is the former Director of Sales for the Four Seasons Costa Rica, based in New York and the former Director of Group Sales at the St. Regis San Francisco.

Kimberly Manning has moved over to the Peninsula New York as Director of Sales. She was most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing at 60 Thompson. Manning is the former Director of Sales for the Carlyle and Sales Manager for the Waldorf=Astoria.

The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa has named Gail Wargo Director of Sales and Marketing. She was previously with Marriott International for over 30 years and the former Vice President, Sales – Global Accounts for Marriott.

Rose Genovese has been appointed Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing – North America for Langham Hospitality. For the past nine years, she was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Denihan Hospitality Group.

John Hackett has been appointed Vice President of Transient Sales for Loews Hotels & Resorts. He was most recently serving as Director of Sales at BCD Travel.

Paul Holden has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Conrad New York. He was most recently in the same position for the Hilton Short Hills.

Doug Carrillo has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Virgin Hotel Collection in New York. He had previously served as Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing for Goldman Properties. Carrillo is a former Regional Director Sales and Marketing with Morgans Hotel Group and Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing with Desires Hotels/Tecton Hospitality.

Jeannie DiGrappa returns to her previous post as Regional Sales Manager for the Kessler Collection. She had previously served in this role before taking on her most recent posting as Area Director of Sales for Stonebridge Companies in Denver. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Cherry Creek.

Revel Resort has named Jim Ziereis Vice President, Group Sales. He was most recently a Vice President, Hotel Sales, for Caesars Entertainment. He is the former Vice President, Hotel Sales at the Tropicana Casino & Resort.

Michael Lorenz has joined Highgate Hotels as Vice President of Sales and Marketing - Lifestyle Division. For the past five years, he had been with the Viceroy Hotel Group as Vice President of Sales.

Caroline Ball has been appointed Regional Director of Group Sales at Melia Hotels International. She is the former Director of Worldwide Sales for Hyatt Hotels in Washington, D.C.

Josh Novotny has been promoted at the Four Seasons Boston to the position of Director of Sales. He had joined the hotel in 2010 as a Group Sales Manager. He is the former National Sales Manager for Stowe Mountain Lodge.

Marty Joice has been appointed Director of Group Sales for the InterContinental Boston. He was most recently with the Burlington Marriott as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Tim Paulus has been named Director of Sales at the Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westin Poinsett Hotel.

Ron Warner has been named Regional Director of Group Sales at Melia Hotels International. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Operations for Maxvantage.

Jamieson Asselta has been named Director of Sales for Destination Hotels & Resorts. Asselta was most recently Director, Global Accounts, with Omni Hotels.

Kelly Commerford has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Commons Hotel in Minneapolis. He was most recently at the Manchester Grand Hyatt as Director of Marketing.

Natalia Luna has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort in Puerto Rico. She most recently served as the Group Sales Manager at the Embassy Suites San Juan Hotel & Casino.

Mary Jobb has been appointed Director of Sales for the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. She was most recently the Vice President of Sales at LXR, Luxury Resorts & Hotels. 

Marti Trieschmann has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. He was most recently the Area Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing both the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista as well as the Orlando Vista Hotel.

Fabiola Sotomayor is now with Kurtz-Ahlers & Associates, based in Sonoma County. She was most recently the Director of Sales -West Coast for the Montage Beverly Hills. Sotomayor is the former Travel Industry Sales Manager for the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Paula Carlson has joined Turnberry Isle as National Sales Manager. She was most recently serving as Senior Sales Manager at the St. Regis Bal Harbor.

Beth Webster has been named National Sales Manager at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. She was most recently in a similar role for the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa and is also the former Director of Sales at the Grande Colonial La Jolla.

Jane Stivaletta has been appointed Director of Accounts at the Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club. She was most recently the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts. She is the former Director of National Accounts for Omni Hotels.

Nicole Jost is now in Colorado as Director of National Sales at the Broadmoor. Since 2001 she had been with the Four Seasons Dallas as a Group Sales Manager.

David Stamas has joined the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac as Senior Sales Manager. For the past three years, he had served as a Sales Manager with the Fairmont Copley Plaza.

Deborah Puccio has been appointed Senior Sales Manager at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa. She had previously served as National Sales Manager at the LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples.

Amy Hyde has been appointed Sales Manager for the Bonaventure Resort & Spa. She is the former Group Sales Manager for the Charlottesville Albemarle Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Ramada on the Beach in Virginia Beach.

Louise O'Brien has joined Langham Hospitality as Regional Director of Public Relations – North America. She was most recently a Vice President at Dan Klores Communications in New York.

Kathy Maher has been named Senior Vice President, Revenue Management at the Wyndham Hotel Group. For the past twelve years she had been with Hilton Worldwide, most recently as Vice President, Revenue Management.

Jose Castro has been appointed Director of Revenue Management at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale. He is the former Director of Revenue Management of the Mayfair Hotel & Spa and the Wyndham Airport & Executive Meeting Center.

David Codney has been appointed Executive Chef at the Peninsula Beverly Hills. He takes over from James Overbaugh who now serves as the hotel's Executive Assistant Manager ­ Food and Beverage Operations. Codney, a CIA graduate, is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Naples.

Joseph Yaple is the new Chef de Cuisine for Cape Cod's Chatham Bars Inn. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay. He was previously with the Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington, D.C in various culinary roles.

Anthony Zamora has joined the Langham Chicago as Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef for the Conrad New York and also served with the Four Seasons New York as Executive Chef. 

The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac has appointed Baptiste Peupion Executive Chef/Culinary Director. He is the former Chef de Cuisine at the Shangri-La Paris.

Justin Fields is now the Executive Chef at the Joule Dallas. He was most recently serving as Executive Chef for the Ritz-Carlton Denver.

Ruben Garcia takes over from Fields as Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Denver. Garcia was most recently the Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe.

Jonathan Haag is the now the Executive Chef for Dean & Deluca Georgetown. He was most recently the Executive Catering Chef for the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C.

Brendan Mica has joined the River Terrace Inn in Napa Valley as Executive Chef at Restaurant Cuvée. He was most recently the Executive Chef at Little Palm Island Resort & Spa.

The Grove Park Inn in Asheville has named Todd Sicolo Executive Chef. The CIA graduate was most recently the Executive Chef at the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix. He had previously held top culinary positions at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa, the Boca Raton Resort and Spa and Rosewood Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda.

In Beverly Hills, Alex Stratta has left Scarpetta, after a mere four months as Executive Chef de Cuisine. His predecessor Freddy Vargas, who had left Scarpetta to be the Chef at SBE's Mercato di Vetro, rejoins the restaurant as Executive Chef de Cuisine.

The Castle Hotel & Spa in Tarrytown has named Marc Lippman Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef of the Inn in Chappaqua.

Frank Gray has been appointed Chef de Cuisine of M Bistro at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. He was most recently with the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grand Lakes, overseeing the kitchens at the Vineyard Grill. He had previously served in culinary positions at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach and the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner.

Harley Carbery has joined Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas as Wine Director. For the past five years, he had been at Joël Robuchon & L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, most recently as Wine Director.

Sean Castady is the new Assistant General Manager for the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach. He was most recently the Rooms Division Manager at the Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach.

Thomas Humphrey has been named Food and Beverage Manager at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi. Most recently, he served as Food and Beverage Manager at the Four Seasons Westlake Village. He is the former Director of Restaurant Operations at the Hotel Bel-Air.

Glorianna Wood has been named Spa Director at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix. For the past twelve years, she had been at Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa, most recently as Spa Director.

Sioux Lees has been named Spa Director for the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. She was most recently the Spa Operations Manager at the Anantara Kihavah Villas in the Maldives.

Hotel man Claude Feninger recently died. A Lausanne graduate, he became the General Manager of Cairo's Shepheard's Hotel when he was 25, before enjoying a long international career with Hilton International and ITT Sheraton. He was one of the founding executives of Omni International Hotels, along with Wolfgang Haenisch, Udo Schlentrich, Heinz Schutzand Frank Thorn.

Earl Holding has died. The sole owner of Sinclair Oil and Little America Hotels, he bought Sun Valley in 1977 and always resisted any attempts to over-develop the resort, thus maintaining its exclusive and private image. Holding is to be credited for doubling Salt Lake City's hotel room capacity for the winter olympics. His net worth was last estimated to be in excess of $2.5 billion. His daughter, Anne Holding-Peterson, attended Cornell.

EUROPE

David Taylor has been appointed Head of Commercial UK & Ireland for InterContinental Hotels Group based in the United Kingdom. He had previously served in sales positions for Paramount Hotels and Q Hotels.

Emmanuel Caux has been appointed Senior Vice President Operations Europe for Sofitel Hotels and Resorts. He was most recently serving Area General Manager Groupe Lucien Barrière.

Pierre-Louis Renou steps in to take over from Caux as General Manager of the Majestic Barrière Cannes. Renou was most recently with the Sofitel Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C. as General Manager.

Massimiliano "Max" Musto is now General Manager of the Four Seasons Moscow. He was most recently the General Manager at the Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stefano. Musto had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the former Four Seasons Aviara and as Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Mauritius.

Michel Morauw has moved to the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile (the former Concorde Lafayette) as General Manager. The Lausanne graduate was most recently the General Manager for the Hyatt Paris Madeleine.

Claudio Ceccherelli has been appointed General Manager at Grand Hyatt Cannes Hôtel Martinez. He was most recently the General Manager of the Park Hyatt Milan. Ceccerelli had previously overseen the Villa d'Este on Lake Como and its sister hotel, the Villa La Massa.

Jan Kaiser has been appointed the General Manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Paris Neuilly. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the Mövenpick Tower & Suites Doha.

Yann Gillet is now at the Hyatt Regency Paris Roissy as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Park Hyatt Chennai. Gillet is also a former General Manager for the Hyatt Regency Johannesburg and Resident Manager at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca.

Rolf Osterwalder has been named General Manager to handle the transition to Hyatt of the Palais de La Méditerranée in Nice taking over from Christophe Aldunate. Osterwalder comes from Seattle where he was most recently serving as General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

Sabine Glissmann is now in Hamburg as General Manager of the Hotel Ambassador. She had previously overseen food and beverage for the New York Palace, the Omni Berkshire Place and Halekulani.

Fred Smits has been promoted to General Manager and joined the Westin Dublin. He was most recently with the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center as Executive Assistant Manager.

Vincent O'Gorman has been named General Manager of the Westbury in Dublin. He is the former General Manager at the Kensington Hotel in London and the Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast.

Jose Machado has been promoted to Director of Finance at the Hotel Ritz Four Seasons Lisbon. He joined the hotel in 2003 as Purchasing Manager and was later promoted to Assistant Director of Finance.

Dietmar Trimmel has been promoted to Director of Operations and Finance at the InterContinental Prague. He moves up from his most recent position at the hotels as Director of Finance and Business Development. He had previously served in finance positions for the InterContinental Warszawa, the InterContinental Budapest and the Mandarin Oriental Prague.

André Obiglo has joined the Swissôtel Dusseldorf to oversee food and beverage. He was most recently handling similar duties with the Mercure Hamburg.

Katherine Blaisdell has been appointed Vice President, Technical Services at Orient-Express Hotels. She was most recently with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts as Vice President, Architecture and Design. She is joining a team made of former Rosewood Senior Executives.

Zuzana Fiantokova has been appointed Director of Human Resources at the InterContinental Prague. She was most recently the Human Resources Director at the Corinthia Hotel Prague.

Amrita Bhalla has been named Vice President, Global Human Resources, at Orient-Express Hotels. She was most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer with the ONYX Hospitality Group. She is the former Executive Vice President, Human Resources at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, and Director, Recruitment and Development with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Yves Lacheret has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Vice President Business Development Europe for Accor. He joined the company in 2007 and was most recently serving as Senior Vice President Marketing and Distribution France.

Cédric Gobilliard takes over from Yves Lacheret as Senior Vice President Sales and Distribution France at Accor. Gobilliard joined Accor in 2009 and was most recently serving as Senior Vice President Global Sales. He is the former Chief Executive Officer North America for Club Méditerranée and for Look Voyages.

Carlo Olejniczak replaces Gobilliard as Senior Vice President Global Sales at Accor. Olejniczak joined Accor in 2010 as Vice President Global Leisure Sales after working for three years as Vice President Sales & Marketing France for Disney.

The Viceroy Hotel Group has named Jane O'Shea Regional Director of Sales and Marketing in the UK. She was most recently the Director of Global Sales, UK and Ireland at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and Head of Sales and Marketing at LUX* Resorts.

Astrid Heitz has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa in France. She was most recently with the Wyndham Grand London Chelsea Harbour as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Roko Palmic has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Prague. He had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Hotel Sacher in Vienna and the Vienna Marriott Hotel.

Capella's Breidenbacher Hof in Dusseldorf has named Philipp Ferber Executive Chef.  He is the former Executive Chef of Lough Eske Castle.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Akira Moreno has taken on the additional role of Chief Executive Officer of Ahn Luh Hotel Management adding to his current duties as Vice President of Development and Pre-Opening Services for GHM Hotels. Moreno is the former General Manager of the Andaman Langkawi and Resident Manager for the Leela Goa.

The Trump Hotel Collection has appointed Jie "Robby" Qiu to Vice President of Development and Acquisitions and Chief Country Executive for Greater China, based in Shanghai. Qiu joins from Accor, where he was most recently Senior Director of Development for Greater China.

The Oriental Residence Bangkok has appointed Alexander Blair General Manager. He was most recently the Resort Manager at Gili Lankanfushi in the Maldives.

Julian Moore has been named General Manager at the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa in Gaafu Alifu Atoll. He is the former General Manager of the Pacific Resort Aitutaki in the Cook Islands.

Christian Preisig is moving over as General Manager to the Shangri-La Traders Hotel Hong Kong. He was most recently overseeing Shangri-La's Aberdeen Marina Club.

Stephen Morahan has been appointed General Manager at Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort. He is the former Hotel Manager of the Westin Siray Bay and Executive Assistant Manager of the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney.

Joerg Boeckeler has moved to the InterContinental Sydney as General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto, and the InterContinental Duesseldorf.

Vathsala Subramaniam has been named General Manager at Shangri-La's Traders Hotel Male in the Maldives. She is the former General Manager at the Renaissance Melaka Hotel.

Charlie Zha is the new Hotel Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin. He was most recently at the Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai as Hotel Manager. Zha is the former Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne. He had previously served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey and the Ritz-Carlton Naples.

Douglas Glen has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Landmark Bangkok. For the past eleven years, he had been with the Landmark London as Hotel Manager.

Shaun Dünhofen has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Indigo Pearl in Phuket. He is the former General Manager at Thanyamundra in Thailand and Director of Operations for the W Retreat & Spa Maldives.

George Tanzman has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Spas in Bangkok. He spent the past 22 years with Four Seasons, most recently as Director of Financial Analysis for Four Seasons Asia Pacific.

Carl Anderson has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage for the Modern Honolulu. He had previously served in food and beverage posts with Four Seasons in Chicago and the Hawaiian Islands.

Carmen Lam has been named to the newly created position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific, for Fairmont, based in Shanghai. She was most recently the Senior Vice President, Leisure & Brand Sales and Marketing, for Melco Crown Entertainment.

Elfa Cleofe has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, scheduled to open this summer. She was most recently overseeing sales and marketing at the St. Regis Lhasa Resort. Cleofe is the former Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Philadelphia.

Christophe Victor is the new Director of Sales for the Viceroy Maldives. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Velassaru Maldives.

Catherine Johns has been named Director of Catering and Convention Services for the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. She was most recently serving as Meetings and Events Director at the Andaz 5th Avenue. Johns is the former Director of Catering of the Park Hyatt Washington, D.C.

Jonathan Wright is now in Singapore with the Raffles Plaza Fairmont and the Stamford Swissotel as Director of Kitchens. For the past three years, he had been in Barbados as Executive Chef for Sandy Lane. Wright is also the former Executive Chef of the Setai South Beach, the Lark Creek Inn and the Windsor Court New Orleans.

Anupam Banerjee has been named Executive Chef of the Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, slated to open this summer. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. Banerjee had previously held culinary positions at Raffles Singapore, the Mandarin Oriental London and the Mandarin Oriental Geneva.

Lionel Lavergne has joined Jumeirah Devanafushi in Maldives as Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Chef for Cunard and Silverseas Cruises.

Muthi Maya has appointed Watchara Gamhanghanpanich as Executive Chef.  He had previously served in culinary roles at the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit Bangkok, the Pattaya Marriott, the Swissotel Nai Lert Park and the Millennium Hilton Bangkok.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Christopher Knable has joined Katara Hospitality in Doha as Chief Executive Officer. He is the former Vice-President, Asset Management for Kingdom Hotel Investments.

Michael Wale has been named President of Starwood's Europe, Africa, & Middle East region, taking over from Roeland Vos. Wale has been with Starwood for 35 years, most recently as Senior Vice President and Director of Operations for Western Europe.

Janet Fitzner has been appointed General Manager at the Radisson Blu Resort, Fujairah. She was most recently the General Manager at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dubai Deira Creek and is also the former General Manager of the Radisson SAS Hotel in Hannover and the Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel, Warsaw.

Tarkan Aksoy has joined the Maxx Royal Resort in Antalya as General Manager. He was most recently serving as Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Bosphorus.

Haakon Gaarder-Larsen has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya in Saudi Arabia.

Simon Casson has been appointed Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach slated to open in 2014. He was most recently the General Manager of the Four Seasons Doha.

Ghada Sadek has been appointed General Manager at the Mövenpick Tower & Suites Doha, taking over from Jan Kaiser. Sadek was most recently serving as Assistant General Manager at the Wyndham Grand Regency.

Howard Spittle has been appointed General Manager for the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in Tobago, taking over from Vince Angelo. He had previously spent seven years with Sandals and Beaches Resorts where he served as General Manager of Beaches Boscobel Resort and Golf Club, Beaches Negril Resort and Spa and Beaches Sandy Bay.

The Mövenpick Resort and Spa Tala Bay has named Beat Peter General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager at the Mövenpick Kuwait.

Laurent Chaudet has been appointed General Manager at the Pullman Dubai Deira City Centre. He was most recently the General Manager of the Pullman Dubai Mall of the Emirates, which was rebranded in January by Sheraton. Chaudet is the former General Manager for the Novotel Ambassador Seoul, the Sofitel Suzhou and the Grand Mercure Xidan.

Rajat Chatterjee has been appointed General Manager at the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites. He is the former General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Chennai, and Director of Operations at the JW Marriott Mumbai.

Sameh Sobhy has been promoted to General Manager at the Semiramis InterContinental Cairo. He was most recently the Hotel Manager and has been with InterContinental since 1987.

Mahmoud El Keiy has returned to the Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza to take on the new post of Hotel Manager. He had previously held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for the hotel before moving into his most recent posting as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stefano.

Matthieu de la Blanchardière has joined the Four Seasons Marrakech as Director of Finance. He was most recently the Director of Administration and Finance for the Hotel Métropole in Monte Carlo. He is the former Director of Finance of the InterContinental Barcelona and the Hotel Arts Ritz-Carlton Barcelona.

James Wierzelewski has been appointed Vice President Food and Beverage Operations for Rotana Hotel Management. He is the former Executive Chef for Harrods London, Foxwoods Resort Casino and the MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

Christian Gradnitzer has been promoted to Corporate Director Culinary at Jumeirah. He was most recently serving as Resort Executive Chef at Madinat Jumeirah.

Ilke Alparslan has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage of the Jumeirah Pera Palace in Istanbul. He is the former Director of Operations at the Sofitel Ashgabat.

Jaouad Sbihi has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing, Qatar at Fairmont Raffles Hotels International. He had been with the Raffles Dubai since 2007 most recently as Director of Sales.

Tricia Warwick has taken on the role of Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa with the Viceroy Hotel Group. She is the former Senior Vice President of International Sales and Marketing for Kerzner International, and Vice President of Sales for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts based in Dubai.

Philma Gomes has moved as Director of Sales and Marketing to the Cape Grace in Cape Town. For the past six years, she had been in the same role for the Westin Cape Town.

Hagop Tchaparian has been appointed Director of Sales at the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites. Tchaparian is the former Director of Corporate Sales at the Doha Marriott.

Sebastian Nohse has been promoted to Resort Executive Chef at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, taking over from Christian Gradnitzer.

The Park Rotana Abu Dhabi has appointed Ted Espiritu Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef for The Hotel in Lucerne and Chef de Cuisine for the New York Marriott Marquis.

Matias Martinez has been named Executive Chef at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Dubai. Martinez was most recently with the Banyan Tree Macau.

Joachim Textor has moved as Executive Chef to the Anantara Dubai Palm Jumeirah Resort & Spa and the Palm Jumeirah, Crescent Road. He is the former Executive Chef for the Al Ghurair Arjaan, the Al Ghurair Rayhaan and the Al Murooj Rotana Dubai. 

Lorenz Ruettimann has joined the Four Seasons Amman as Director of Rooms. He had previously overseen rooms division for the Hotel Bell Rock and the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

Erhan Yurtsever has moved as Director of Rooms to the Four Seasons Istanbul at The Bosphorus. He was most recently in a similar post for their Istanbul sister property, the Four Seasons Sultanahmet.

Elsa Lahoude has been appointed Director of Rooms at the Marina Hotel in Kuwait. She was most recently serving in the same role for Rezidor's Hotel Missoni Kuwait.

Jason Myers has been named General Manager for Jumeirah Restaurants and Bars. He is the former Director of Jumeirah Restaurants.
