Sri Lanka's oldest airport to go international.
Wednesday, 2nd November 2011
Source : HVS International
Ratmalana Airport, Sri Lanka's oldest and former international airport located in Colombo, is undergoing improvements to accommodate small-scale international operations.

The domestic airport is undergoing runway renovations and will feature a new first-class terminal and be ready for international flights from private jets and small aircraft by the end of October 2011.

Currently, the Bandaranaike International Airport, which replaced Ratmalana Airport as Colombo's international airport, is the only international airport in Sri Lanka.
