Travelport has signed a five-year agreement with Aeroflot, the agreement allows for all Travelport GDS users access to the fares and inventory of the Russian national carrier, including the airline's best published rates and functionality parity with all other distribution channels.

Travelport Head of Airline Supplier Services for Europe, Robin Ranken, was quoted in Travel Daily Asia as having said that Aeroflot is a notable airline player in Europe and offers an extensive route network across Russia, Siberia and the Far East.

Ranken added that corporate travellers, in particular, are increasingly opting for Aeroflot's flights so they are truly pleased to have secured this full content for their travel agency customers.
