The South Korean government has announced a series of measures in a bid to boost the tourism industry in its capital city.
According the Korea Tourism Organisation, foreign visitors to the country have increased by 12.5% year-on-year to reach 8.8 million in 2010.
International arrivals to the country have been strong over the past few years, and the government aims to build on this with new measures to further boost Seoul's tourism market.
Plans include adding up to 36,000 hotel rooms by 2015 and also targeting the growing Chinese market by providing more Chinese-language tours and supporting the restaurants to develop Chinese-friendly menus.
