Marriott has created a dedicated jobs fan page in Facebook and social media game app called ‘My Marriott' to fill 50,000 positions around the world by the end of 2011.

The jobs available are mostly in locations outside the US and aims to attract 18 to 27 age range.

1, the game puts users in various parts of a hotel, setting tasks against the clock so a user can earn points to move to harder levels or other locations in the property.
The game is aimed to demonstrate what it takes to run a kitchen and dining area or how to organize cleaning hundreds of rooms. The game is available in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Mandarin, and will have a links to the main recruitment pages on its corporate site.
Marriott's recruitment page currently has a growing fan base of 12,000 fans, with most users coming from the US, Egypt, and India.
