Sofitel will be making its foray into the Guangzhou hotel market in May 2011 with the 493-room Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich.
The property is located within Tianhe District, amid upscale shopping malls and proximate to the CITIC Plaza and the Guangzhou East Railway Station.
Facilities at the hotel include five bars and restaurants, 17 meeting rooms and a 900-square-metre grand ballroom.
The Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich will be soft opening on 18 May 2011 while the grand opening is scheduled to take place on 10 June 2011.
