Tiger Airways has recently announced the commencement of daily flights between Singapore and Taipei, as well as the increase in its Singapore to Jakarta flight services to a twice-daily frequency.
The low-cost carrier has seen strong growth in passengers for its Asian and Australian operations in 2010, with a 32% increase from 2009 to reach approximately 5.8 million passengers.
In the coming year, the airline will also be adding an additional nine new Airbus A320s to its current combined fleet of 25 aircraft.
