Hard Rock is proud to announce its highly anticipated return to Sydney, Australia and has opened the doors to its retail Rock Shop in Harbourside at Darling Harbour, offering fans the first opportunity to purchase merchandise from the new location.

The Sydney Rock Shop offers both rock ‘n' roll-inspired items, as well as classic collectible Hard Rock Cafe Sydney merchandise. This Sydney-specific merchandise can only be purchased at this location, which offers an exclusive quality that enhances each item's appeal.

Fans are also able to collect Hard Rock's much-coveted signature pins, including the new, limited-edition Sydney pins, which reflect the spirit of the city and the authenticity of Hard Rock's merchandise. The Rock Shop will display key memorabilia items from P!NK, Cher, Elton John, and more.

In addition, Hard Rock fans and guests can visit and view the plans for the new Hard Rock Cafe Sydney location. Hard Rock Cafe Sydney, scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2011, is situated above the Rock Shop in the Darling Harbour precinct of Sydney, one of the nation's most popular destinations which features diverse dining, nightlife and cultural offerings.

The 500-seat Hard Rock Cafe Sydney is poised to be one of the city's premier dining and entertainment destinations, with a state-of-the-art facility encompassing more than 1,500-square-meters of space. In addition to prime waterfront and cityscape views from the wraparound balcony, the new Sydney cafe includes outdoor terrace seating, rock ‘n' roll memorabilia from Hard Rock's iconic collection and a live music area.

This is Hard Rock's second cafe in Australia for franchise partner Goddings Pty Ltd., following its prime location in Surfers Paradise.
