Saturday, 3rd July 2010
Source : Travel Distribution Summit North America
With Marriott, IHG, Hilton, Wyndhams, WorldHotels, Morgans Hotel Group, Highgate Hotels, Hard Rock Hotels and more speaking at EyeforTravel's flagship American show it is certainly set to be an innovative and informative event.

Now in it's 11th successful year, EyeforTravel's Travel Distribution Summit North America will bring together the most successful travel brands from North America, Latin America and the Caribbean to Chicago on October 13-14. The event will gather over 700 senior travel professionals and 70+ expert speakers. Expect 2 days of insightful presentations, vigorous debate and powerful networking opportunities to arm online travel professionals with essential strategic tools and insider's knowledge for a prosperous 2010.

"Download this year's event brochure online to see that we have made some major changes. We've now got four tracks over the course of two days- Distribution, Revenue Management, Social Media and Mobile. You have to focus on a blend of the all the aspects, old and new to succeed.  This will drive online travel through and beyond 2011. No one can rest on past achievements, and the same goes for us here at EyeforTravel." Says Tim Gunstone, MD at EyeforTravel.

TDS North America attracts an unrivalled pack of speakers each year, with the focus being on hearing from the travel brands we all know and value, but also from fresh industry thinkers who are at the forefront of social media and mobile innovation. Heading up some of the debates we will hear from names like Glenn Fogel, EVP of Priceline.com , Ronnie Gurion, President of Distribution of Orbitz Worldwide, Google's Managing Director of Travel Rob Torres and Rom Hendler, Corporate VP of Strategic Marketing for Las Vegas Sands Corporation.

It's also good to see more airlines in a position to speak at the event again, after such a turbulent year in 2009, and this year we can expect to hear from the likes of United Airlines, Continental Airlines, Midwest-Frontier, Lufthansa, Virgin America and JetBlue.
