Hilton Worldwide is to make its debut in Jordan with the Doubletree by Hilton, Aqaba. Hilton has signed a management agreement with Jordan Maritime Complex for Real Estate Investments for the 181-room hotel.

The hotel is scheduled to open in the resort of Aqaba, on Jordan's southern coast, in the third quarter of 2010.

The Doubletree won't be the only Hilton-branded property in the country for long though as Hilton currently has three other properties under development in Jordan which will be opening their doors in 2011 and 2013.
