Macau to limit number of gaming tables.
Tuesday, 6th April 2010
Source : HVS International
The Macau authorities have announced that a maximum of 500 gaming tables will be allowed to develop over the next three years as Macau targets to diversify its economy.

Currently, Macau has approximately 5,000 gaming tables and gaming makes up 70% of Macau's total revenue.

Existing projects such as the Galaxy on Cotai Strip have been included in the existing supply and local analysts are of the opinion that yield on a per table basis is likely to improve in the medium-term.
