
The 'Best of the Best' 2010 Awards for preferred brands of China's richest consumers were announced.
This is the 6th time since 2005 that Hurun Report had announced the annual research findings of brand awareness and preferences, consumption habits and lifestyle trends of China's highest net worth individuals.
This year's report consists of two parts – the lifestyle report and the Best of the Best report. The lifestyle report gives a comprehensive analysis of the differences between millionaires in tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 cities, men and women, elder and younger as well as the multimillionaires and average level consumers. The Best of the Best report discloses the Chinese millionaires' brand preferences.
A few key points:
- 12% increase in optimistic views on China's economy from the country's millionaires
- Chinese millionaires generally hope young university graduates to be hardworking and resilient
- 40% increase in the frequency of Chinese millionaires going abroad
- More confidence in charity funds, nearly 15% increase in the number of millionaires that chose to donate to charity funds, rather than directly to projects
- Chinese millionaires' awareness of brands increased twofold compared to last year
- This is the 6th time Hurun Report announces the "Best of the Best" awards to honor most preferred brands of China's riches consumer
- The is the first time Hurun Report has researched and analyzed the differences between millionaires in tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 cities, men and women millionaires, elder millionaires and younger millionaires, and individuals worth over 100 million yuan worth.
