Park Inn ranks highest in guest satisfaction in the mid-scale full service segment – and performs particularly well in reservation, food & beverage, and costs & fees.

Also Rezidor's first class brand Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts celebrates a success on the second rank of the study's upper upscale segment.
"We are glad about and proud of both results", says Olivier Jacquin, Senior Vice President Marketing, Sales & Distribution of Rezidor. "Especially Park Inn has achieved a fantastic position. The study 2009 reflects our unique service philosophy "Yes I Can!", the success of our comprehensive refurbishment programs and of newly opened Park Inn flagships like in Manchester and Krakow", continues Jacquin.
The J.D. Power European Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study is now in its fifth year and examines the overall satisfaction of European hotel guests based on seven measures (in order of importance): costs & fees, guest room, hotel facilities, food & beverage, check in / check out, hotel services, and reservation.
42 brands were measured and ranked in four segments: upper upscale, upscale, mid-scale full service, and economy. The 2009 study is based on responses from more than 13,000 guests who stayed at a hotel in Europe between May 2009 and September 2009.
The upper upscale segment 2009 was won by Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts, followed by Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts, and Maritim Hotels. Park Inn leads the mid-scale full service segment – followed by Dorint Hotels & Resorts, and Clarion.
