Hard Rock International announced it will open its newest location on Spain's picturesque Costa del Sol.

Scheduled to open in early November, Hard Rock Cafe Marbella will be located in Puerto Banus, one of Europe's most exclusive harbors on the idyllic Mediterranean Sea. The Marbella cafe will be Spain's fifth Hard Rock Cafe.

The 600-square-meter cafe, which includes seating for 300, a vibrant bar, open-air terrace and Rock Shop, will also feature Hard Rock's limited-edition merchandise.  Memorabilia from Hard Rock's iconic collection will adorn the walls of Hard Rock Cafe Marbella, which includes items from many of the world's most beloved and recognizable musicians, as well as contemporary artists with local ties.

Key memorabilia items are now on display, from a red dress worn by Nelly Furtado during the making of her 2000 video "Turn Out the Light;" to a coat designed by Yolanda Rueda for Rafael Sanchez of La Union, and a leather dress worn by Spanish artist Marta Sanchez during her time with the pop rock group Ole Ole; to an autographed Aerosmith drumhead and an animation celluloid from The Beatles' 1968 movie "Yellow Submarine."

"Marbella is one of Europe's premiere and most exclusive Mediterranean destinations situated on the scenic Costa del Sol," said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO of Hard Rock International.  "With its rich Andalusian history and diverse cultural offerings, we are proud to call Marbella home to Spain's newest Hard Rock Cafe."

For more than 38 years, Hard Rock has offered guests classic American fare in a rock ‘n' roll atmosphere.  Hard Rock Cafe Marbella will be the ideal location for the brand's world-famous cuisine, including Hard Rock's Legendary Burgers, signature Smokehouse items and more.  In addition to its food, Hard Rock offers unmatched specialty drinks from its award-winning bar menu, from Hurricanes and Margaritas, to its Alternative Rock non-alcoholic beverage menu featuring favorites like Wildberry Smoothies and Crushed Velvet "martinis."

The Marbella cafe's Rock Shop offers rock ‘n' roll-inspired items, as well as favorite collectible Hard Rock Cafe Marbella merchandise in its exclusive retail location.  This Marbella-specific merchandise can only be purchased at this location, which offers an exclusive design quality that enhances each item's appeal.  Fans can also acquire Hard Rock's much-coveted signature pins, including the new, limited-edition Marbella pins, which reflect the spirit of the city and the authenticity of Hard Rock's merchandise.

Since it was established in 1971, Hard Rock has been committed to a wide variety of philanthropic causes and activities around the world, and Hard Rock Cafe Marbella will carry this causal commitment to the market.  In every Hard Rock city, the staff makes it a priority to become a valuable community partner.  In the form of funds, food and beverage, merchandise and man hours, Hard Rock Cafe Marbella will give back locally, as well as participate in global corporate philanthropic initiatives, ranging from breast cancer awareness programs, to rock icons' favorite causes through the annual Signature Series T-shirt program.
